These had skinny fries while the sandwiches had thick pub fries. Didn't order any drinks but most people looked happy with the selections. You can ask to get 10% off your meal if you go to a movie and show your ticket. I asked our server about it and said she'd take care of it. Well she didn't. Whatever! I figure it's tough making a profit these days so I didn't push it. Wouldn't want the pub to go under for just $8. Service seemed pretty slow as it may have been understaffed the night we went. Several people outside waited quite a while for their checks to be handled. Didn't take any pictures, plenty are already posted in other reviews. Free Parking is in the garage adjacent. That is a nice draw in Newhall.

Told them what happened and they seemed surprised. Unfortunately no one was able to talk to us and we ended up going somewhere else for dinner. Since then sent e-mails. Called. Commented on social media. Absolutely no response at all. So thanks for that birthday surprise. At this point I doubt I will set foot in their doors again unless something seriously changes. We had the caveman's platter and the links platter. As sides we had brussels sprouts, mac & cheese, cowboy beans and the plates came with cornbread. I was bummed they did not have collard greens and they did not have potato salad. Apparently collard greens are no longer being served. They've not yet updated their menu. And the potato salad we were advised that a large party had come before us, so there was no more. Which is crazy sad it was only noon and I think they open like at nine or 10 AM. So I kind of felt like we had to resort to what was left and based on how much food we ordered, we had six sides we had to select. Brisket vs Tri Tip- I'm a fatty meat kind of girl. So I definitely preferred the tri-tip. Which had more flavor than the brisket. Now, do not give me wrong by that statement. Because both meats are very good. You can taste that smoke for sure. But the one that you could eat without any sauce would be the tri-tip. The ribs were excellent. The barbecue links were good too. You only get two in the plate and they cut them up in little pieces. But they're good. They weren't overly spicy and they still had some good snap to them. Meats: 9.5/10 The barbecue sauce is a no. It is heavy on the vinegar so bring your own barbecue sauce. The brussels sprouts were I'd say 7/10. They weren't anything too fancy there's kind of like a balsamic on it. They're good but they're not amazing. It could've probably used like some bacon bits or something in it. I don't know. The mac & cheese is a no. It's literally large mushy noodles and watery cheese sauce.. and the cheese sauce is bland. 3/10 The cowboy beans were OK. It's more like a chili for sure. There's a lot going on in them but again they're pretty good. They lean more on the tangy side. When I say tangy, it's probably vinegar and ketchupy if I had to pinpoint the tastes. 6/10. The cornbread is a no. It's more flour based than corn. It falls apart pretty easy. It's kind of dense. At any rate, I'd prefer Jiffy over whatever they're using. 4/10

Went with a couple girlfriends on a whim when I was in Santa Clarita. Bartenders were so rude, carrying on like there was nobody waiting for a drink, not care in the world or sense of urgency to help people. Everything was cooked too perfection, extremely flavorful and it came out very fast. Amazing service. After dinner, we stayed because the DJ was playing absolute bangers!!!!! The bar staff all were so kind and friendly. I never felt more welcome from staff like that before. They have this super cool menu of cocktails that are inspired by the pool balls numbers! I was able to tried them all, and the number 5 ball Whiskey Sour is my personal favorite! A close second is their Break, Run, Repeat cocktail! Definitely give those a try. We got to play both pool and darts. Their tables are in such nice condition, well taking care of and they are all diamond tables. The break room gave me a amazing night out with my friends. I never been to a place like this before. I can't think of one negative thing to say, my visit here was pure fun. This is a large,…read morenicely-maintained pool room with assorted other games available (darts and such), a great digital jukebox system, and plenty of TV's playing sports. The decor is "industrial," but it's clean and airy, so there's no sense of being in a "dive" -- in fact, this is a family-friendly place, and I saw some youngish couples playing pool on what seemed to be afternoon dates. The physical bar is relatively small, with only about 8-12 seats, but that's because they're keeping as much space open as possible for game play. The staff was friendly and chatty, and seemed quite intent on making sure everyone had everything they needed. The menu is wider and more interesting than one would expect in a pool hall environment, with creative pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads promising a more unique and memorable meal than the average hangout. I opted to try the Pastrami Pizza: a traditional tomato and mozzarella pie topped with what they call "mustard fried pastrami," onions, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of yellow mustard. It's a good-sized pizza, larger than a true individual pie, and enough for 2 people to share. The pastrami was savory without being too salty, while the pickles, onions and mustard all added nice pops of flavor without feeling like a gimmick. My one disappointment was that the pizza was not prepared well-done as requested, making the crust more doughy than crisp. Also, the temperature in the venue was darn near frigid, so my pizza got cold very quickly, which reduced my ability to enjoy it as much as I would have if the pie had been piping hot. Other food being enjoyed in close proximity to me looked and smelled very good (wings and burgers), and like I said, the people were all top notch hosts. So, while the final pizza prep could use some improvement, I think these folks are doing a very good job of making bar food that's more interesting and memorable than you'll find anywhere else in the area. When they said "hidden gem", they weren't kidding. With no signage out front we definitely missed…read moreit. We went all the way around the back and finally ended up back in the front where we saw a few cars parked and realized this was the place. No biggie. We found this place on Instagram. After looking thru their page, we decided we wanted to give this place a try. They had a week full of events. This particular Sunday, they advertised "bring your own picnic". The staff was really nice. I'm not drinking right now, but the people I went with do. I asked for non-alcoholic and was glad to know they had a few options. I tried the Free Wave Hazy IPA by Athletic Brewing Co. Soooo tasty. I would give this place 3.5 starts but I'll round it up to 4 stars. The reason being: there was no vibes. For being St. Patty's day weekend...and from seeing their page. Vibes were definitely lacking. Not sure what the rest of my party had, but they seemed to like beer they had. I know I enjoyed mine. I would come back to this place but only if I'm in the area.
