There's a real sense of wanting to include all skaters here, to extend the community outward and not puppy-guard anything despite probably getting a huge lot of tourists wandering in for better or worse. Humidity is simply really embodying what a local skateshop should in every regard. They have very rad stickers, too.

The tracking never moved, and when I contacted the company they couldn't even confirm whether the package was actually shipped or ever picked up by the carrier. Instead of taking responsibility, they immediately blamed the post office and said the package was lost. However, the post office advised me to verify if the seller had physically mailed the item at all -- something the company was unable to prove. It seems like a shipping label may have been created without the item ever being handed over. No clear answers, no proof of shipment, and no real effort to resolve the issue. Customers shouldn't have to do the investigation themselves after paying for an order. Very disappointing experience and I would be cautious ordering from them.

The staff was pretty helpful in locating the right size, and it wasn't long before my wife had her pair, and away we went back towards the hotel. It was very convenient that there was an Athlete's Foot on Canal Street; given the situation, so happy that we were able to find a clean, well-organized shoe store that was easy to navigate, ask for the right size, and get on with our stay in the Crescent City.

They had a great assortment from Good American and Madewell, with a good range of sizes and styles to choose from. So yay because I needed a pair of jeans because the weather was much cooler than I'd packed for. The dress section, however, felt a bit repetitive. Lots of the same styles, so not a ton of variety there. One thing that really stood out was the shoe section, especially if you're a size 10. There was a very large selection, which isn't always easy to find. Overall, a solid stop if you're looking for quality denim and shoes, but also know that it's Nordstrom Rack so options will always vary.
