We went through the drive-thru for coffee today. We've been there multiple times before and have always ordered a dirty chai (a chai latte with a shot of espresso) without any issues. When we placed our order, Eliza (or Elisa) responded, "We don't make that here. We're not Starbucks. We don't make any fancy drinks." The tone came across as rude and dismissive. We then changed our order to an iced coffee. She asked what kind we wanted, so we said a light roast. She replied, "We don't do that. We only have one kind of iced coffee." If there's only one option, I'm not sure why she asked what kind we wanted in the first place. It wasn't the fact that they couldn't make the drinks we requested that was disappointing, it was the customer service. A polite explanation would have gone a long way. read more

Went around 1pm on a Sunday it looked like they had 3 ladies working the shift. We ordered 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and a bagel, the food came out good, the wait wasn't too long at all. Our drinks were delayed a bit but they did communicate that they were running a little behind and it might be a minute so that was fine. They were made but then just set on the counter and not announces that they were our drinks and they were ready. The coworkers were just off talking about whatever personal stuff they had going on so our drinks just sat there. While we were in there, 2 separate customers had ordered hot coffee with their food, and before they even got a chance to fill their cups the workers took all the customer use coffee dispensers down and didn't refill them. They ended up having to refund both customers because they didn't have any hot coffee. Then all 3 workers proceeded to complain that the coffee was out for 20 mins after the first customer had purchased his cup(aka he didn't fill it in that 20 mins) and proceeded to just complain about the customers they had. Definitely poor customer service not an Einstein I'd choose to attend again. read more

i don't know if there's new management or a team turnover but whatever it is isn't working. i get the same exact thing every time i go (avocado toast) , and it used to be perfect every time. The last few times i went it's been awful. their avocado is in cubes and it's very unripe (extremely tough and hard to chew). i asked to change out the avocado and was told that that's how they received it. i've never known a restaurant to receive pre-cut, unripe avocados. My bagel has also been cold and not toasted. The service is rude. And on top of everything the wait is always insanely long, which is not doable for someone needing to grab breakfast on their way to work. very disappointed. read more

The first time I had Einstein Brothers was in 2014 on a university campus. Their egg sandwiches were a staple breakfast item for me. Combine that with a glass of milk and you've got yourself a good breakfast. In my first year of college, Einstein's would be my breakfast every weekday before classes. When I got off my meal plan, I would still have them on and off. As an Einstein's veteran, I will say that this review can apply to practically any location you visit. I get their coupons in the mail and they do save you money! A set of six bagels was enough for breakfast for an entire week. The variety is sufficient as I had 3 different types of bagels in that set. Their BOGO (Buy One Get One) egg sandwich deal provided me lunch and dinner when I had a flight to catch (I got them before arriving at the airport since the coupon doesn't work in the terminal). They take pride in their bagel sandwiches, and none have disappointed me yet! Their premium sandwiches are definitely worth it, so try one out and use a coupon if you have one! The Bagelrito pictured here is one of their new items. It makes a great brunch item (think a calzone except with egg, cheese, and meat). The quarantine has reduced orders to either take-out or drive-thru depending on location. The location I'm associating this with is drive-thru only, so prepare for a line when you arrive. read more

Other than that the bagel was okay and the amount of cream cheese was good. However, the mocha latte was just not it. This location and their service is total garbage. So is getting a call back for the bad service on the corporate level, with a GM that doesn't care. Don't be confused by the map location on this Einstein's (it shows its off old ranch road) as it is the new drive thru one in the Highlands of Briargate. Let me preface by stating there no ZERO point in calling the corporate customer service line. You will get nowhere. While they are friendly, they can't/won't do anything to remedy the issue. They escalate the complaint to the GM of that location, who by the way, could CLEARLY care less as they never call. The GM doesn't even use the management team to try and reach out. Now on to the experience... I've have given this location two very fair chances as they are a new store. They need to get their life. On all levels. Both visits were in October. The first one we went into the store to order bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and drinks. Our order took forever! Why you ask? Oh, was it the huge crowd that was in there....they came in AFTER us, so no. We were the first in line. So what was it? Oh, it was the four employees that strolled in from outside after a smoke break. The poor kid on the register was the only one working. They finally started our order, my husband had to ask them to slice the bagels for our bakers dozen, the girl didn't comprehend when we asked for a bag for all the cream cheeses (maybe she smoked too much), my chai tea looked disgusting, and it took FOR-EV-ER (insert the plug to The Sandlot) to get the order. Like I said, get your life. So okay, things happen and maybe we give them one more chance. They're a new store, right? Don't do it I say, don't do it. Round two (my bad for giving them a chance for round two). Thought I'd try the drive thru and get a bagel and iced tea. Easy enough right. Wrong. So very wrong. I sat in the drive thru from 8:15am - 8:47am. Are you effing kidding me? What were they baking the bagels? Must have been because they definitely weren't cooked all the way. They weren't apologetic, the girl working the window could care less, they gave attitude, and the only one sympathetic was the customer rep on the phone. Oh yeah, I called corporate while I waited for the sad bagel and lack luster tea. Oh and they didn't have plain iced tea. You had to get a chai. Again, a disgusting looking chai that looks like it coagulated. Yum. Basically, if you want crappy service, a management team who doesn't care, a GM who won't call back (even with it coming from corporate), mediocre bagels, chai that looks like the milk threw up in it, and WORST SERVICE EVER, then this is the place for you! They will take care of all of your bad service needs and wants. If you don't want this, go to the other locations. You wait 5 minutes for a bagel and they actually pretend to like you. read more

I came in for breakfast before work this morning. I ordered a sandwich, hash brown, and coffee. I asked for my coffee iced and got it hot. No big deal. But they handed me my food and I walked off with it, which was a big mistake. I reached my hand in and felt something cold. I pulled it out, and guess what? It was my hash brown!!! It was frozen. Seriously. Cold in the middle, no melted cheese at all, hard as a rock. I broke it open to inspect it and it was awful. Went Sunday night to get a sandwich for dinner. Had the chicken with pesto sauce which was delicious. Was very disappointed that they do not have all the sandwiches that are on the menu on line. Inconsistent service. Compared to the other Einstein's in town, this one is a let down.

I was number one in the drive through at 6am. It took the the cashier 2 minutes to get to my order. I ordered a Nova Lox Bagel which came to $7.52 after taxes. I was in the process of giving my credit card to the cashier and was there was a new policy that I have to put my card in the card reader so she held the card reader out the window. I couldn't read card reader screen well because the cashier wasn't able to extend the device close enough to me. Once I put my card in the card reader there were only prompts to leave a tip ( with no selection for no tip ). I was going to leave a $1 even though the service was very slow. When the person gave me my bagel and the receipt I noticed I inadvertently left a $3.00 dollar ( 40% ) for a drive through window and slow service. I pointed out the error to the cashier and she stated that her superior instituted the new policy and offered no compensation to fix the error. For example she could of gave me back $2 dollars cash or a free cup of coffee. I will not go to this place again! read more
