Not happy with the lack of ingredients in my veggie sub. I ordered it and online it states it comes with three types of cheese. I didn't get any. I don't know if this is just a fluke or their norm. I don't go to Firehouse because I don't usually have one close to me but happen to drive by it, so I stopped in. I don't think I'll go back. First time i ordered at this location i ordered my sub which was the hero and wanted extra pickle spears and jalapeños. This sandwich didn't even taste like other stores I've been to, stuff was missing on top of what i had ordered. So this recent visit over the weekend i thought I'll give them another try, so i ordered for a pick up order with just 2 of ham and turkey ( hook and ladder) i still haven't received anything While eating my first sandwich half way through i realized something weird and rough in my sandwich and noticed on the cheese on the ham and turkey sub still had the paper left on it, i grossed out because i had already eaten most of my sandwich. I looked into my second sandwich and there was no cheese, it was left out along with jalapeno I called them immediately and explained they apologized and said they will refund me my money for the subs. I ordered 30 minutes in advance of needing the food and they not only had the wrong order, they took another 10 minutes to make the SINGLE sandwich I paid for. The service is HORRIBLE and the FOOD IS TOO. I ordered a warm sandwich with vegetables, meat and cheese. What I got was a soggy sandwich with no vegetables, tiny bit of cheese and meat that was so grisly and fatty that it took 10 minutes to cut it all out and still ran across a lot of meat I couldn't chew. The service was very polite, but I was very disappointed in the food. I had a small Italian sub and it WAS small! Maybe 2-21/2" and didn't have much filling. It did, however have a TON of mayonnaise- I didn't look at the description carefully enough, and I had assumed that it would have the yummy Italian dressing that most submarines have-but no! And I was supposed to get a pickles beer and I didn't get that. The salad was TINY and had finally chopped items with a many slices of the banana pepper or whatever kind of pepper it was. I asked for Italian dressing on that and I couldn't tell that it had anything on it other than maybe a little water! Came in this afternoon around 2:30pm and ordered a large Italian. The meats tasted off, and the bread was soaked in some sort of mayo mix. It honestly tasted like something from your fridge that you meant to throw out last week, right on the verge of going bad. The sandwich took 15 minutes to make, surprising since I was the only customer when I ordered. The young man who took my order wasn't rude, but wasn't friendly either. The sandwich was good as always, but someone going to a fast food restaurant shouldn't wait even close to that long with three people in front of them. Absolutely disgusting. The subs were ok but the meats were off tasting. My salad was just inedible. The box it came it looked dirty and when I opened it my salad smelled weird. As I mixed my salad i discovered rotten greens. This is not save for consumers. 29 Sep 22 - was very disappointed with our subs we picked up today for take out. I got the small roast beef on wheat bread with provolone and my husband got his usual the medium Italian with wheat bread. My husband ordered mine without lettuce, tomato, and onion and they put lettuce, tomato and onion on it and my bread was not steamed and it did not have as much beef or provolone like it usually has. My husband said his also was not loaded with the usual amount of Salami etc. that they put on their sandwiches. Also they only had two young girls making the subs without adult supervision so he had to wait a long time to get our sandwiches. Think next time we will go to the Firehouse on Dublin. read more

The food here is great! you can get pretty much a sun like you get a jimmy johns or sun way but the real difference between them is how much ingredients they put in your sandwich firehouse subs outs subways and jimmy johns as soon as you taste one of theres. The service is great you can get whatever you would like on the menu seems like they are never out of ingredients, subs, or bread and they get your food out in 10 mins tops. The ambiance is another thing that really makes this place stand out from others there are old fire decorations such as helmets, hoses, oxygen tanks, uniforms, pictures of trucks, etc great place to take a kid they could be enjoying the great work while you drowned in your delicious sub. Hey I usually don't do this but I went to this food establishment (firehouse) and I had been greeted and welcomed with great customer service that I had too. My sandwich was made by I believe his name is Marlon. He made my son a sandwich that made his day, (Cajun chicken ) plus he gave my son a fireman hat which he did not take off all day. Firehouse Subs is a huge step up from the tried and true Subway... although, I would recommend getting a hot sub from Firehouse, as they all look and smell the best. Summary: A good place to get a hot sub. I have been looking for a good sandwich shop in the northern part of the Springs since I moved here. To give you context, I'm not a huge WhichWich fan, and Jimmy Johns is only passable for me. Firehouse Subs is definitely a step in the right direction. Although all of their subs can be served cold, Firehouse's specialty and strength seems to be serving hot subs... and they do it well. I have eaten there several times and have not had a bad sandwich yet. There is nothing gourmet about what they do; they simply crank out predictably yummy food. Ordering is done at the counter, and the atmosphere is predictably bland. There are two cool, unique things about Firehouse Subs: 1) They have something like 20+ hot sauces from all over the place, ranked by heat. If the thought of hot sauce excites you, you will feel like a kid in a candy store. I make it a point to experiment with different sauces every time I go. 2) They have a cool "Freestyle" drink machine that lets you mix and match flavor combos to your heart's content. Their sandwiches are just amazing and the service was so much quicker than the first time I went. Their manager or owner (not sure which), is there often and he's a really nice guy. I love firehouse subs but this location really does not meet the standard of what I have come to expect from other firehouse subs I have been to. First my wife found insects in her salad and was not able to finish her meal. When presented to the employees all they said was sorry and refused to make it right. They also forgot to include the rest of the stuff included in our combos and we had to return several times. My wife and I don't do take out sandwiches very often but after seeing a tv commercial, my wife mentioned she's never had a firehouse sub before. We decided to give them a shot today and my wife who thinks I'm a picky food snob agrees that this place was kind of "meh." I'll start with the positives about this place. We love that a portion of the profits go to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. We love the selection Firehouse subs offers. We both really liked the standard bread (white/Italian) they use. My wife said the veggies were pretty average for freshness, my sandwich did not have veggies. The meats were flavorful and seemed of decent quality. As for the service, I ordered ahead so, there wasn't a lot of interaction. That being said my order was ready on time and the people greeted me and were friendly. The prices were average and fair. No for the negatives. There's not a lot of bad to say about this place but these are things that greatly sway my decision of wether to return to this establishment or not. First and foremost, the sandwich filling was skimpy. My wife even commented about how little meat there was in her sandwich. Secondly, what's with the mayonnaise and mustard? I don't know if this was just because of the person who made our sandwiches or if this is something they train their employees to do but holy mayonnaise Batman! I know some people love mayonnaise, if you are one of those people you will love this place. As for mustard, I couldn't taste it, my wife said she tasted some in hers but mayonnaise was the foremost flavor on both of our sandwiches. I could only see a couple small spots of yellow mixed into the sea of mayonnaise on my sandwich. Finally, the pickle. Oh what a sad pickle it was. It was limp and had no snap left in it. If I were to own a sandwich shop I would want crisp pickles. In my opinion it helps to exhibit the quality and freshness of the ingredients being used. This place could be a 5 star establishment if they'd change a few things. Give people a better meat to bread ratio. Not only will this improve customer satisfaction but will also improve the value of the sandwich (even if they raise the prices to a reasonable amount). Improve the mayonnaise and mustard amounts. Balance is essential with almost any food. And maybe get some better pickles. Let me start by saying the food here is great. The service however is awful. We are never greeted when we walk in and we always stand awkwardly for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us to take our order. Tonight, a different customer took our meal (just a misunderstanding due to similar names) however, we were the only people in the restaurant and half an hour later we finally asked why we still didn't have our meal. They told us that they would remake our meal and also give us a meal for free and that didn't happen. So 45 minutes later, we finally got our food. The people here are not friendly. I went to a Firehouse years ago and didn't like it so never went back. Now that I live by one, I've been there a couple times. I enjoyed it both times. I would give it 3.5 stars, but it's pretty good. I had the first sandwich on the list to the far left. I was SO excited to see a Firehouse away from the East Coast. Apparently this place opened a few months ago and if you haven't been, you MUST GO. This was a staple of ours when we lived in Virginia. Aside from the hot subs (the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket is my favorite) they also do catering which is really good. What a yummy sub shop! The subs are jam packed with meat and what sauce they put on the Club on a Sub was divine. The staff was really nice, even with a full house. My only complaint is that it was so hot in there. We went on a Friday at lunch time and the place was packed. If I was burning up, I can only imagine how hot it was in there for the employees. I ordered the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket sandwich, hubby got a Pastrami, and teenage son got a Meatball sandwich. Everyone loved their meal and cleaned their plates (or baskets as it were). Inside is decorated fire house style as you might guess. They also support a few different firefighter-type causes. My hubby loved the fact that you can buy their 5 gallon pickle buckets for $2.
