We I came in for observation to compare here between old Einstein's by Bloomfield township from three years ago things turned out big disasterous out by unpleasant head manager with bad attitude....... this place didn't look nice for customers to come able enjoy their breakfast or lunch with lacking of flavor, stale drinks or foods wasn't too fresh for them to able take a bite or swallow from their drinks....thank goodnesss I didn't try anything from there only had horrible free drink! I would say Nah! I never will come back for interview or grab a bite from here for positivity sure, sorry this location has to go and fire all workers away from how it gotten too dull and poorly outstanding corporation in some places over US...... Ordered a Caramel Macchiato for pick up in the South Beach store got home and there is no whip cream on my macchiato. So basically I paid $6 for coffee and milk (not a macchiato then, which is what I ordered). I called the store to let them know of the mistake, they say we don't carry whip cream may more! Really? How about update your ordering website, and how about call me tell me that and give me the option of declining? Would've been nice a credit as I did not receive what I paid for, but they could care less. read more

Not the cheapest place on the beach but not bad. What I like most about this place is weekday mornings. The visit is well worth the getting up 15 minutes early to stop by and have a quiet breakfast by the windows. The service is nice and polite, the order process is simple, go to the counter, order get your coffee and have a seat, they will yell out when your food is ready. By the front door you will always find teh news papers people have left behind for you to read, and as an added bonus the comics are almost always there. The quality of food is better than Dunkin or starbucks, but the coffee is weak. That said I love very strong truck stop coffee (ala Tim Hortens). I suggest you go with the toasted assiago bagle with egg, chedder, and bacon. The place is nice and clean, the bath rooms are well kept, and if you avoid weekend mornings you will have a pleasent enviornment. They do sell bagles to go in large numbers, and the selections are in stock every time I walk in. I say head over and grab food here in the morning, but if it is just coffee, go else where. read more

This place is terrible. We went for breakfast this morning because my husband was craving a chocolate chip bagel. I was hesitant but went along with it. Not to my surprise it was horrible. I ordered an asiago bagel toasted with lite cream cheese. When I got the bagel, it was stale and cold. Definitely not toasted unless their toaster is completely broken. While I was contemplating bringing it back up and asking for a new one or a refund, I listened to the guest in front of me ask for a refund as well because her order was wrong and there were egg shells in her breakfast sandwich. Never knew about Einstein Bros up until about 2 years ago. They have a whole bunch of different type of bagels and my favorite one the chocolate chip bagel. Yum!!! The staff has always been very friendly with me and the place is always spotless. They also have natural juices made fresh everyday. The staff was very helpful and nice when we visited. They were out of the spread I wanted and he was very helpful in recommending something I might like and after we sat down, he even checked in with us to see how I liked my food and it was delicious :) read more

I recommend sticking to the bagels and cream cheese here. I've tried to get a breakfast sandwich a couple times (egg & cheese) and they are always soggy..... nothing says yuck like a soggy bagel. On the plus side I do like their cream cheese and they have a good variety of bagels. If you've never been to an Einstein, these are the giant fluffy bagels, not the dense kind. They taste good though. I do like the coffee they have. There are always a ton of people here & the line usually moves pretty quick. read more

I LOVE Einstein Bagels and it is my go to bagel joint, but this particular franchise gives the brand a bad name. I have been to this location a handful of times and the establishment is old and run down. They need to update their tables and chairs as well as their countertop that their coffee is displayed on. There were also a few flys hanging around the coffee. Gross... The food was mediocre at best. I always order the Nova Lox and they give you one small slice of nova, two red onion slices, one tomato and 5 capers. Really??! It is the worst presentation I have ever seen. My boyfriend ordered a breakfast sandwich one two occasions and both times the lettuce was wilted. If you do decide to go here get something simple like a bagel with cream cheese. If you are not looking for a classic New York bagel, then try Einstein Bros. My favorite is the six cheese as well as the jalapeno cheese. Better yet, have a Asiago bagel toasted with a thick layer of cream cheese and get the hot out of the oven un-toasted six cheese on the side to use up your extra cream cheese. These bagels are great for the office and their bakers dozen includes two tubs of cream cheese. Their coffee bar includes unlimited refills and I thought their Vanilla Hazelnut was better than the Big S. In the mornings, it's a local hangout or drop in joint for the Miami Beach fireman, paramedics and the regulars from nearby high rises. For parking, the only option is the meters. I've never seen anyone get ticketed but I always feed the meter. read more

I have eaten the thintastic bagels there and they are yummy without all that extra bread like a "normal" super huge bagel. I love that they carry packages of smoked salmon...delicious! I have always had a great experience coming here since day one. They have always accommodated my special requests for call ahead bakers dozen orders, their staff have always been patient, friendly, helpful and courteous to me and they have even helped me modify a blended iced coffee drink because of my health, the manager gave me a discount that I received via email even though my cell phone died and didn't give me any difficulty about it and the only issue I've ever had has always been trying to get parking to go pick up my orders. I would highly recommend this location for their excellent service and staff. I recently stopped by Einstein on my way to work to pick up a bagel bucket (13 bagels & 2 tubs of cream cheese) for my co-workers. I was lucky enough to find a metered spot right outside. And despite being packed to the hilt, I managed to get my bagel box (including deciding what bagels I wanted and getting them sliced), and be back in my car well before the quarter I put in my meter expired! Unfortunately, the cream counter was filled with flies and one flew directly into my drink (the nasty bugger couldnt kill itself on the FLOOR like more considerate flies!). But the employee was kind enough to replace my free drink free of charge. Great place both for early morning coffee and bagels and for lunch. Staff is always friendly and cheerful. Bagels are fresh-baked daily. I read some of the reviews about uncleanliness and surly staff earlier this year. Management must have taken notice, because I haven't experienced either of these. One note: because they supply many hotels in the area, things can get hectic for the staff early in the morning. Even though they appear sometimes overwhelmed (tough when you have to get orders for hundreds of bagels exactly right...), they are always smiling and chatting with you, which makes the (slight) wait on those days bearable. read more

False representation on menu prices. I've been coming here every single time I come to Miami Beach but they are starting to slack a lot. Menu prices vs counter prices are false. First they do not allow iced tea refills. It used to be outside on the counter and you made it yourself and now they make it behind the counter. I asked for a refill and they said they don't do that anymore. Other locations still have it out. If you charge more than Starbucks for tea, I expect another refill especially when they fill your cup with ice to the very top. The next day I came to get a dozen bagels. Menu says gourmet bagels included. I get to the counter and they charge me extra per gourmet bagel because I am not getting it delivered since they charge a delivery fee to make up for it. The guy supervisor on duty was completely overwhelmed the minute I walked in the door. I spotted under the sign that said "order here." However, there was people standing everywhere waiting to be helped.. Then a line started forming over where out said "pay here" A younger african american lady with glasses yells at everyone " if you need to order, stand over there, you are not going to get service standing infront of the counter." Then as I move over to the "pay here" line as instructed, this other Spanish lady working behind the counter addresses me as, " Mama! What do you want??!!" This spot is super convenient to my apartment, but it's just flat-out nasty inside. The store is always disgustingly dirty, there are often flies and bugs on/near the food, etc. It seems like it would be pretty easy for the management to fix the store: close it for a couple of days to do a deep clean and also spend a day on retraining employees. Given that the Dunkin on Alton just north of 16 just renovated (and is pretty consistent), that's my go to for fast food breakfast and coffee. read more

Sunday morning bagel and juice are a great combination. They have a new lemon/blueberry bagel that is really good and I had it as a sandwich with spinach, cheese and asparagus. Tasted super! There coffee is just OK so I order juice and or water. The prices are comparable to other bagel/ coffee shops. You can't go wrong. read more

I placed an online order which was fairly simple. Dozen mixed bagels and jug of coffee. Store associate was confused as to online order. After checking many boxes, confirmed that he had identified my order. When I opened box at construction site - instead of mixed bagels had 13 pumpernickel. None were eaten by the crew. So I go in before work to get myself a bagel. I get a long awaited phone call since I haven't had much time to speak with my family and my little brother on FaceTime. As I'm on the phone having a conversation at Einstein bagels this old man walked up to me and asked me to turn my phone down or turn it off because he didn't want to hear my conversation. I Ignored him at first. Then the man continued to stand there and harass me to turn my phone off because he didn't want to hear my conversation. I told him very kindly that he was being rude. I informed him that he can sit anywhere in the restaurant, that this is what happens when you're in a public place. He argued with me and said that it was a private restaurant and continued to harass me and I said I would tell them he's harassing me and I'm trying to enjoy my breakfast before work. He says "please tell them I'm harassing you." My tone elevates as I'm telling this man to leave me alone, to get away from me, to walk away from me and I'm sure all the staff members including the manager heard me have this loud disagreement with this old man. The old man asked me what I meant I said "you speak English you know what walk away from me means." After the man finally sits down the manager approaches and only spoke with the elderly man. He came to me only to tell me that I had to turn my phone down or get headphones. I informed the manager that it is as if she's in here with me, that I'm not being obnoxious. He apologizes but shrugs rather than handle the situation properly. My family is showing me her new apartment and my little brothers new toys. Last I checked Einstein bagels is not a library, people are going to talk. It is a public place people go into to have phone conversations, be on their laptop and meet with friends and TALK! I do not have my headphones with me but it should not matter unless I'm having a loud and inappropriate conversation which I wasn't. I do not like how the situation was taken care of. I feel as though the manager should have informed the older man that he can step outside and sit and enjoy his food or he can acknowledge that he is in a public place and that people are going to have conversations around him. Also that he should not harass anyone to do something specifically to suit his selfish needs. Instead I stormed out and yelled that "if you don't want to hear people go the fuck home." I don't like how the manager allowed this man to disrespect me and felt his preference in a public place was more important. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth for the morning and regret that I didn't go to Starbucks instead. So just a heads up, if you take conference calls, want to video chat with friends or overall want to have a friendly conversation at Einstein bagels, be sure to whisper.
