What an amazing day at Carter High School for the RUSD annual Divergent Games…read more My son participates in these games every year. The district provides food, drinks, and water. They also have Special Needs Coffee there serving drinks for purchase. Supporting this business is everything because it stands on an amazing cause. The downfall to this event was it was almost too hot for our kids to be out there and the games had nothing with water to keep them cooled off. They ended up calling the games early because of the heat. Another bad thing was, they knew they were hosting an event on the football field but they didn't bother cleaning off the bleachers where parents had to sit. They were full of dust and cobwebs. Luckily we had stuff to wipe them down. My clothes still managed to get dirty because everything was filthy, including the bars to lean on to overlook the field.

My oldest started at Soar in second grade, and graduated from Soar 4 years ago. I previously had…read morehim in a regular public school and I felt his education was being greatly neglected. I saw a vast difference in my child once he started at soar - he became a much more outgoing child and his grades skyrocketed. My youngest has been at soar since kindergarten and is now in 8th grade, his grades are awesome and he never wants to miss school (he's really hoping for perfect attendance this year). I have referred friends, coworkers and family to soar. My co-worker moved her daughter to soar for her 7th grade year this year and said that she has also seen such a dramatic difference in her daughter's grades as well as her attitude. I 100% recommend SOAR if you're looking for a place for your child to thrive!
