My experience with Eivan Photography was terrible. I paid for the service in full before the wedding. The videographer they sent was unprofessional and disruptive, and the quality was extremely poor. The footage of my wedding party walking down the aisle is shaky and mostly shows floor and feet. My cocktail hour -- which was in the contract -- is missing entirely, and there is no coverage of my reception hall and décor. Overall the work was far below what was promised. The real nightmare started after the wedding. My photos and videos were not released unless I signed additional documents addressing new charges I was told I owed and terms imposing financial penalties tied to negative reviews. My wedding media was held until I agreed because I wanted my memories. I hired them expecting a highly rated professional service and instead dealt with poor quality work followed by a very difficult and unpleasant process to obtain what I had already paid for. I had my wedding in March 2025. I liked the photographer, however, wish there was more directive on how to position ourselves. The videographer, however, was pretty awful. I told him ahead of time I didn't want him near the bridesmaids or me while we were getting ready. I wanted that time to be private. He showed up anyways filming, I asked him several times to leave and it took him awhile to leave. None of that footage was used on the wedding video which feels really creepy. In addition, during the ceremony he set up a mic near the water fountain and no where near the paint. So the ceremony sounded like someone was peeing the whole time. The video editing team did change the sound but it will wasn't the greatest of the pianist. I do like the videos and photos in the end but the price was really high for what we got. read more

One of the most unethical companies I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. I pray others read this and learn from my experience. Everything seemed ok when we signed, but received rude reply to email asking if they could get a meal choice from videographer (we weren't allowed to know who they were sending until after meal counts were due). Videographer seemed great on day of, but later was told there's several events he chose not to film even though we paid for 8 hours of him filming - Sam from Customer Service stated he only films if there's something important that he sees (in our case, half a groom's speech, friends joining in a special dance, and parents' grand exits from venue were all deemed to be unimportant enough to capture). The big problems though come when the editing team gets their hands on your film. The contract you sign gives you 2 edits - you're going to need at least 3. Video 1 is extremely rushed (ours had echoes, speakers cut off mid-sentence, etc). Our 2nd edit focused on guests' rear ends. They feel that's acceptable to send, I highly disagree. Edit #3 was ok minus a song skip Sam wanted to fix. My husband and I approved #4 and here's where it gets interesting. You can't receive your video unless you sign a SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND GENERAL RELEASE IN FULL OF ALL CLAIMS AND RIGHTS that says you can't leave a bad review, can't report them to the Better Business Bureau, can't have anyone else leave negative reviews or they're suing you for $500 a day that each post is up. They spend more time threatening customers than doing the job they were hired for correctly. What really bothered me though was I asked for a timeframe of when I'd get my video and they had told me I'd have it within a week - only to miss that by a few weeks, during which time my grandmother passed away, unable to see the video. This company engages in predatory business practices, preying on couples and forcing you to sign legal documents that silence you in order to receive anything good from them. When you refuse, they edit again to give you absolute crap and close your file. Don't worry - they have a fee you can pay to open it again for another edit ... They gave us four photographers to review their work and choose from. They ended up giving us a random 5th photographer who we didn't review beforehand. He didn't tell us where to look during his photoshoot. Because his camera is low to the ground, some people were looking at him and some people were looking low. He never told us where to look. The photographer also has low attention to detail. In some of our shots, things like my collar / tie were out of place. It is evident from the pictures but not from my perspective as the shots were taking. Super unprofessional and not worth the money. Get your wedding shots elsewhere. read more

My advice to you is: Read the contract and do not assume the best from them. if you have no other options and you need dirt cheap price and are willing to compromise on quality of photos they are here for you! Pros: 1. Cheap 2. Timely editing! we got our photos within a month. Cons: 1. they do not contact you until a few weeks before the wedding date to tell who your photographers are. 2. Customer service is hit or miss. I spoke to some pleasant employees and other not so pleasant employees 3. Photoshop service is NOT great. I asked them to open my mom's eyes and they placed them wrong. does not look real. 4. OUR photographers were great. but we got lucky. Janis gave us a list of photo shots and made a whole schedule for the day. she was great. Our experience with the photographer we booked through Eivan's was okay, but every other part of booking was terrible. We found a photographer on their website whose portfolio we liked, and when we contacted Eivan's they guaranteed that this person was available on our wedding date. We made it clear that we were booking with Eivan's in order to work with that specific photographer, and were told that that would not be a problem. After the booking, we waited a month to hear back about our photographer assignment. We checked in during this time to make sure that our photographer of choice was the one being assigned to us and received vague reassurance. When we did finally hear back, a month before our wedding we found out that Eivan's had assigned us a photographer who was not only not our first choice but whose portfolio we had never seen because it was not on the website when we booked. Basically, Eivan's gave us a random photographer. We were told this couldn't be changed. After many phone calls, Eivan's agreed to let us send a list of all the photographers for our location ranked in order of our preference and they reassigned us to someone higher up on our list (though still not the person whose availability we confirmed multiple times when booking with them). Then, in order to be reassigned to a photographer whose work we actually had a chance to see ahead of time, Eivan's required that we sign a form saying that we would not post any negative reviews of them online or else they would charge us $500. Every interaction we had with the staff of Eivan's was confusing, and when it became clear that they couldn't avoid addressing our concerns (they did not return our first several calls) they treated us with total condescension. You will not read negative reviews of Eivan's because the way they placate their customers guarantees that people can't post negative reviews without paying for it! So I thought i was booking a legit company. The Knot had them with a 4.8 star review! I paid in full in March/April 2025. I was getting married in November 2026. I ended up having some issues with the venue and canceled my original wedding date and place. I reach out to ask for a refund since I had canceled less than 30 days after booking. The form I signed was around 36 pages of terms and services which apparently included a no refund policy which is unethical! So now I am out almost $2200 and these people are saying that they "rendered" services for a wedding that hasn't even happened. They are crooks and scam artists. I don't understand how they are still active. According to the BBB they aren't even accredited. They are even trying to charge me a $500 rebuttal fee because I had reversed the charge on my account which they are currently disputing. read more

We were apprehensive at first because Eivan's seemed so much less expensive than other photography/videography companies. We saved a ton of money booking both in the Storytelling package. It was so worth it. Both photographers and the videographer were super professional. I would have been lost without them guiding us through everything. One of our friends, who just got engaged, came up to us after the wedding to get their info so they could book Eivan's for their wedding. I will highly recommend this company to anyone who asks. TL'DR: Horrible service--your child can do better with an iPhone in their hands. And they will blackmail you if you give them a bad review. I received an email from this company approximately 15 min after recently posting a bad review on Google threatening me to remove my review or pay them $925.00. They even mentioned they copied their "legal team" to the email. Obviously, this is not only unethical, but it is illegal and a crime! Research the Consumer Review Fairness Act which prohibits any company from this practice. Background story: the company claimed I had 14 days to download the video after posted on my gallery otherwise I'd have to pay the amount above to download the video. Crazy right? Well, I went to download the video at the 14 days mark and the video had been removed. There was never any invoice, just a request to pay the $900 and change to download it. It wasn't even midnight anywhere in the US and they never stipulated a time to download the video anyways. I sent them three emails and was ignored. When I called and explained the situation, someone helped me retrieve my video for free (I am guessing because they know this is a scam). I then updated my Google review with this crazy story and shared a picture of their email. They then randomly emailed me from their "legal team" a day later thanking me for curing my breach and claiming they'd send me a follow up contract to sign. They sent a separate email with the contract and claimed I'd need to share a copy of my government ID! Obviously, I never cured any breach because there wasn't a breach in the first place, and this was just an attempt to extort money from a customer for posting a bad review. What a crazy ride! ---- It took me a full year to build the energy to create my wedding album because the job was sooo poorly done I couldn't stand the disappointment of looking at my wedding pictures. Contrary to what they advertise, there's nothing affordable about this company. I paid thousands of dollars for my wedding pictures and video, and they sent me two amateurs who are almost as good at their job as any child with a phone in their hands. To start, the photographer they assigned to me never responded any messages or got in touch, so they asked the so-called videographer to take the pictures instead and hired a different videographer. The photographer had no sense of camera framing and position, nor did he have any creativity. He took photos of the entire family with literal gaps that could fit two people in the middle. The company then took four months to deliver my photos completely unedited. It's like the photographer literally dumped all the photos in an album and delivered to us. There were photos with weird poses, bad lighting, bad framing, blurs, and everything in between in the folders. Now, let's talk about the video. The videographer literally place his camera in a single spot and recording whatever was going on in the moment. The video also came completely unedited, and with HORRIBLE imaging and audio. I have the screenshot to prove it. 2. 48 hrs before my wedding I was contacted stating that my photographer would not be able to attend, and my replacement photographer did not get ANY of the notes I passed on the first photographer... for a 3rd time. Also, I didn't even get a chance to talk to this new photographer until THE MORNING of my wedding day. 3. Speaking of notes, when filling out my requests for what key shots I wanted, (I even posted collages and links, the whole 9 yards) when I spoke to my photographer & videographer, they didn't know anything about my requests, so I had to talk them through want I wanted again, I was very specific. 4. The quality of pictures and videos shot could have been done on an iPhone. Terrible quality, absolutely NOTHING like what's pictured on the website. I even asked for a portfolio of the videographer beforehand and was told they would NOT provide one, and the videos on the website would be the quality of what I would be getting. No. Not even close. So many key shots not taken. Terrible angles. Lighting in the wrong place in many shots. 5. Be prepared to wait 4-5 months AFTER your wedding to get your photos for free. They try to get you to spend up to $2500 for your whole album and charge $50 PER PICTURE!! Which, I'll say again were not up to standard. On top of that, before you can download your free album (after your 4 months wait) you must click a box that states, "you're satisfied with the work provided to you." Kind of like a promise you can't sue them because you said you like them, "no take backs!" kind of stunt. I clicked the box because I wanted my pictures that I'm owed, and still struggled to find shots that were good enough to share with friends and family. Satisfied?? Nah... not even close. If I had one wish, it would be to go back in time and skip over this vendor. I have already told all my friends about this terrible company and to avoid them at all costs. I chose to reach out to Eivan's due to price point for our small wedding. From the start we didn't want to spend a fortune. Response time was prompt when first reaching out. Interactions when booking were easy and all questions were answered. It was an easy process to book. We had photographer and videographer for our wedding. Both were friendly from start to finish. I am in between 3 and 4 stars. We really loved how our video came out with getting a clip and then longer version. Our pictures were okay. I expected a bit more creativity in capturing moments rather than some of the standard pictures that come to mind with a wedding. Of course following the wedding being on social media there were so many creative pictures that I saw and wished that we would have had that. Maybe I should have been more prepared with ideas, however I thought with it being a professional company, they might come with more ideas having had experience. I did love some of the moments captured but I do feel a little bit disappointed if I'm being honest. There are so many positive and 5 star reviews so maybe others had a different experience than us. The pictures and video came out great. I have to say that the photographer and videographer were not the problem. They were great on the phone before the wedding and were great the day of. Eivan's hires these guys as freelancers so they are not actually part of this terrible company. The problem is entirely with Eivan's themselves. Sam (the manager or owner) was an absolute pest and incredibly rude and unprofessional person. We got in contact with the company because a lot of unexpected and STEEP charges started to crop up when it came time to purchase our actual photos and wedding video and we wanted to see why that was the case. After being referred to Sam by customer service personnel, he repeatedly threatened us with legal action if we left a bad review and also threatened to not deliver our photos at all. We ended up having to have a video call with Sam where he made us promise not to leave a bad review before he would send us the photos. It was a nightmare. Next Vendor up for our wedding is Eivans! I thought I should share my experience with them, in hopes of giving future couples some insight on choosing them for their wedding day . I'll just list so it will be easier . Although the things I mentioned , there is a lot of people that have wrote reviews and can vouch for this. Pros: -very affordable vendor for the price of photography and videography (you pay for that in the long run, will explain later ) -they were very accommodating when it came to postponing our 2020 wedding due to COVID -Our photos came out beautifully (thank god , since most couples did not feel the same) you can always refer to my Instagram @theonlytheadra Cons: -you will not be able to choose your videographer or photographer (they're basically contractors ) didn't know who our photographer was until 2 weeks prior . Videographer was almost a week until we actually spoke with her. Really odd! -Even though our pictures came out beautifully after our wedding , we ere still not able to share them/post them until another THREE MONTHS! Who waits THREE MONTHS for their wedding pictures !! I couldn't believe it ! In order to revive your pics they will make you pay , even after the fact that you paid them already!! Or do a $2,000 + rush order for prints that SHOULD be yours ! So just a heads up -Customer service is pretty slow and lacking . It has been more than 2 weeks that they quoted that someone will get back to me . My husband had tried to call them 2x but hadn't spoken with someone until 3 days later . That's the gist of what to keep an eye for . I did do their survey after our wedding and did say I would not recommend them to friends , so they do know that. But all in all you get what you pay for , it can be risky when you don't hire companies than contractors because you don't know who you will get or what the result will be . Had an incredibly horrible experience with Eivan's Photo and Video. Our Wedding was April 30th and today, on Nov 14th, we are forced to just accept that we will not have a decent wedding video worth ever posting and will have to pay extra to have it edited by someone else somehow. Despite clearly specifying what we wanted in the video, and sending at least 8 requests for edits (most repeating the same thing) it has become impossible to receive a finished product worthy of posting or sharing with our loved ones. The staff at Eivan's are beyond incompetent and clearly do not care about customer satisfaction. When we informed them of how unhappy we are and that we will need the raw files in order to get the video done by an actual professional, they insisted on getting paid $1300 for the raw files. What a scam Do NOT use them for your wedding photos and videos. DO NOT. DO NOT. Please read this review and listen to my advice! read more

Overall, we were pleased with the service and deliverables provided by the Eivan's team. I am disappointed to see the unfortunate experiences of other patrons, and even more disheartened to read how Eivan's responded to many of these critiques. Choosing a service provider for special life events requires a great deal of trust and confidence, and feeling like it's been misplaced can be devastating, especially when there's no opportunity for a "re-do". These clients are hurting, and in my opinion, responding in a litigious manner certainly doesn't help to mend transgressions or find common ground. While the consultation and coordination process was frustrating and confusing at times, I wouldn't say that the issues were severely "out of the ordinary", and my concerns were generally addressed in a prompt manner. One of the biggest factors in choosing Eivan's is their incredibly competitive packages, something that seemed nearly too good to be true, and at times, I was definitely skeptical and concerned I leapt too soon without properly evaluating Eivan's or all my other options. Daniel seemed like very much of a "yes man" to get me to sign on the dotted line, and then disappeared (without a proper "handoff"/redirection to another staff member/dept.) Dughan gave me inconsistent (or completely inaccurate) information, and I was starting to get pretty upset at the double talk and some ticky-tack verbiage in the contract. Despite these early snafus, once I connected with manager Sam, communication and clarity improved, and I felt better about choosing their team for this once in a lifetime event. His thorough and considerate approach settled my sporadic concerns, yet in the end, it all comes down to the actual "product"- pics and vid! The "admin service" could've been a complete dumpster fire, and as long as the final product is up to par, I'm a pretty happy camper. This has been an unprecedented year in so many ways, and the wedding industry is certainly one of the most impacted. Their team never faltered in their obligations, and our preferred lead photographer was able to serve our wedding fantastically- covid compliant and photography/videography masters! A very solid 5 stars for Tanja and Edward! What a great duo full of professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to our event, and their service rightly earns the bulk of this review. They showed up right on time, with plenty of opportunity to evaluate the sprawling grounds and set up efficiently, and worked tirelessly the entire time to capture every special moment. Thank you Tanja and Edward- we couldn't have been happier working with you two. Our turnaround time for our photo gallery and video was amazing (probably a bit quicker than a "normal year" timeline, but still impressive.) The pictures are outstanding and will be cherished for a lifetime. Our package also included a print credit- perfect for holiday gifts! I have had the absolute worst experience with this business. If I could give negative stars, I would. I booked them for my wedding on 3/22/24, and I absolutely loved my photographer. He got multiple shots, and knew exactly where the best photos should be taken. However, upon receiving our gallery, none of my individual bridal portraits were included. Several of my guests had more photos than me. I definitely took those pictures because we moved tables and chairs to get the perfect shot. There are also photos that my mom and MIL took of me while the photographer was taking my portraits. I reached out to the photo department and was told that unfortunately all of my photos were uploaded. That was unacceptable since these photos were taken, so after a few emails back and forth, the photo department reached out again saying they found my portraits. I was so excited to finally receive them. Once I viewed them in the gallery, these were not photos of only me. These were pics I had taken with my mom, and they poorly photoshopped her out. It's insulting how poorly the photoshop job is. I'm now more upset with the deception. Sarah reached out to me with a free waived rush delivery for the "inconvenience". However, in order to receive this, she sent a settlement agreement document stating I would take down all negative reviews, and wouldn't post anything negative about their business. I refused to sign. They tried to deceive me into believing they found my bridal portraits. Since they already had this document on-hand, this must be a recurring issue, and I now feel the 100s of positive reviews I read before booking are false. The only way I could find negative reviews was through Reddit. Also, you don't have full watermark released rights to your gallery until after 90 days, which you have already paid for in full. Eivan's captured every moment I wanted on our wedding day, but I am disappointed with the camera's shaky, out-of-focus, or odd positioning during some important parts (like during the ceremony). For example, the videographer had two cameras: one handheld and one stationary, and the stationary one was out of focus for the entire day. There are blurry clips in our wedding film because the videographer was moving (shaky video) and his handheld one is unusable while moving, but the stationary one is extremely blurry during that same time. I shouldn't have to choose between shaky video or blurry video if there are two cameras. We got a 5-minute highlight video with our package, and the first cut of it was so odd and focused on the wrong things, that I completely re-edited it myself by stating exactly which sections of the film to put in which order. I shouldn't have to tell a wedding video company how to edit a highlight video. I'm thankful that I have the 5-minute highlight and 1.5-hour wedding film so I can relive the day. I am also thankful that Eivan's took all my notes on the first cut and edited the films exactly how I wanted it, but again, there is still blurry or shaky footage because I had no other options. Overall, for the price, it's a good option if you want everything on video and don't need anything fancy, but in terms of quality, it is just okay. I would only recommend Eivan's to people who just want the day recorded, not a beautiful wedding video. read more
