Garage parking underground is a super nice perk for a rainy day. 5. Friendly staff (but that seems to be all YMCAs). Cons: 1. Shower situation was shockingly poorly planned, given that this entire building is relatively new construction. I guess showers don't need benches where you can put your stuff? In the women's locker room, people had pulled chairs over into the shower area to "solve" this problem, but it wasn't great. 2. For anyone who's uncomfortable in a public locker room for any particular reason (I can think of several), there are very few (only two) private shower/locker rooms available relative to my home YMCA, and they're labeled with rather unfriendly signs saying that you shouldn't use them unless you're a family or a disabled person.
