She loves helping with the babies and playing with the other kids. They give all the kids good food and full belly's. They always make sure she has a clean diaper before we leave, even if we're going straight home they insist on changing her just in case. I'm very picky about who watches my baby girl, and this daycare is the best there is that I have seen. They are very affordable and will work with you if something comes up and you can't pay on time. They offered to change his class which I did but never felt comfortable because the new classroom was not Visible from the outside as the first one was. I've witnessed caregivers being very rough with the children , including my own , when she was changing his diaper and didn't realize I was standing outside the window , she throw up down very aggressively and changed his diaper rough. I convinced myself I was being paranoid because he's my "baby" but i wasn't. As mothers we have intuition and we have to trust it. Since the Centre is in the SW Medical complex, they cater to the babies of those employees but non-employees can bring their little ones here too. My two year old has only gone for a day but she absolutely loves it! I'll update later... Update: It's now 5 months since my initial post and I'm just so grateful for this place. I love that parents have to go through 3 passcode protected places to get into the facility: once to get into the parking garage if you go that route, once on the external door of the daycare, and once more after you've checked your little ones in with your fingerprint. Other daycares make you wait upfront and they go get your kid....not a fan. I like the built in accountability that places on staff. If a parent can walk in at any moment, staff really have to be fully aware of every action taken and word spoken. I have an infant and a preschooler who both love it. There are set schedules for each class and my infant has gotten super strong from all the tummy time she gets. She loves being around the other babies and they grin and giggle when they get to bounce up and down on their bouncers together. The staff are wonderful and I haven't seen any turnover. Parents of infants, take note, there's pretty much always a waiting list. I've talked to several moms who put their little ones on the waiting list while they were still pregnant...but you might get lucky.

I expressed my concerns about the ratio and the wellbeing of the children and the teachers to the director Sonya and she decided to terminate my child's care immediately. I didn't curse her out or anything. I simply expressed my concerns about the fact that it's 1 teacher and AT LEAST 7 infants (there's 7 infants in the classroom my child was in). Texas teacher to infant ratio is 1:4 (0-11 months) and 1:5(12-17 months) and even that is a lot. so for one teacher to be left with up to 9 babies is crazy. The director claims that it's two teachers but every day I picked him up there is not two teachers. The other teacher is with the toddlers. She claims that she cares about the well being of the children and the staff but I can't tell. There was literally a toddler in the room with 7 other infants and still ONE teacher. That is unsafe for all the children and the teacher. If I dropped my child off before the infant teacher got there, my child was out with the bigger kids and they were completely out of ratio. Also they changed the pick up/drop process less than 2 hours after I expressed my concerns about the ratio. It is a really small daycare. Getting to and from the daycare is a hassle. Parking is a nightmare. Navigating through the daycare itself is a hassle. My child was only there for 15 days before he was terminated immediately and it honestly was a blessing in disguise. As I posted on my review this happened a FEW YEARS AGO. The review I posted on here is what I experienced AT THE TIME my child attended this daycare. My daughter attended this daycare a few years back. I must say it is not what I expected. It came highly recommended from my daughters therapist. This is the only reason I took her there. The first day I dropped her off and when we picked her up she was screaming and crying like I've never seen her do before. I thought well it's probably because she doesn't know the people there. So I let her stay there for another week or so. She came out crying out of that place each day. I thought to myself something must be going on for her not to want to be there. Sure enough one day we picked her up and she was crying. She told us that the teacher had smacked her on the hand. Also she had a very expensive gold bracelet on that would only be able to be taken off by pushing a pin in the lock to unlock it. Guess what she came home without the bracelet. I brought it up to the directors attention to which they denied any wrong doing. I immediately removed her from there and I am so glad I did. We put her in another day care and she didn't cry when dropping her off and she didn't cry when picking her up. That there alone has to tell you something.

My son hit 4 going on 5 and we had to make the bittersweet decision to move him on to elementary but he walked away knowing more and talking in full sentences than I would've ever imagined. He's learned numbers, colors, about states, countries, holidays, animals etc. If I could recommend anything to a new mom nearby it would be to put there child in this school!
