I've tried a variety of apps and a personal trainer in the past few years, but lost momentum with each when I didn't see the progress I was hopeful for. Intense calorie counting and going to the gym with an unorganized fitness plan was too draining and they did not support a quality of life that would produce sustainable, long-term results for me. The combination of accountability and resources through her app with the weekly calls has been very helpful to keep me on track and stay motived. The balance of macro-nutrient management and cardio/weight lifting has really made a difference in my body. I started to notice that previously unwearable boots fit well and pants that I had relegated to the back of my closet because they never fit were actually loose. This was incredibly motivating because it seemed easy. Even though I hadn't been as diligent in my workouts as I had hoped, I was still experiencing great results that were easily attainable for my very busy social and professional lifestyle. This inspired me to become even more motivated and excited about my physical journey. I'm no longer just motivated for an upcoming event, but I see this knowledge and support as a total shift in my approach to fitness because I can actually realistically obtain my fitness and weight goals. IanFitness kicked my butt at my first workout, and continues to do so at every workout. Leading up to my wedding, I lost 35 pounds (using the bootcamp workouts and a diet recommended by Ian). Of course I regained 15 in the months following my wedding, but I'm on track to shed those and continue towards a healthier me. The circuit style bootcamps are challenging and high energy. IanFitness trainers do a great job at keeping you motivated by encouraging you to give it your all, while making sure you're learning proper form. Their trainers are laid back, fun, and get to know all the members by name for a more personal and fun routine. The Magnolia location is new, but the space provides everything you need for an IanFitness workout using dumbells to body weight. Micah and Morgan are the lead trainers at the Magnolia location and provide one-on-one training as well. IanFitness is a great workout and I recommend it to anyone and everyone, even if you hate working out like I do!

We were looking for a gym where we just had to show up and the coaches would push us to our limits in a safe and trusting manner. The member community is great to work out with - we are continuously cheering each other to go just a bit higher. Joe (the owner) is one of the best teachers when it comes to training. He explains complex exercises in simple terms and the reasoning behind it. Also, he is not a big fan of cardio - which is great! :D Callin (the head coach) is one of the best coaches around (at least for us). She has her full attention on you and is constantly pushing you to your limits. She is a big fan of cardio - not so great for me. Although my cardio strength has improved a tonne.

Olympic said this was not enough to cancel his membership, so he made multiple attempts to email the gym which was a month of back and forth exchanges. They told him they would continue to add extra overage charges if he didn't pay but said they would waive them if he would pay two months worth of membership fees which totaled $243. I would not recommend this gym to anyone unless you want to get locked into a contract that's impossible to get out of and be charged exorbitant fees.
