This place is so good ! I'm glad they moved locations because they have so much more parking ! The food was hot and fresh and they were so friendly! They speak English and Spanish! Please go get some pupusas! They've been in the community for so long ! It's delicious! I love getting the yucca con chiccaron as an appetizer! Ask for extra limes !

this was our first time here and we were really satisfied with both the food and the service. i will definitely be coming back

    Empandas

$6 + tax for 3 empanadas a little bigger than size of my airpod case seems really expensive. I understand everything is more pricey now, but please ensure the proportion of the food is matching the price being paid. Additionally, the pupusas we ordered were a bit burned. My family and I have came for years. So the argument the empanadas have always been this size is definitely wrong because we have been served empanadas for years from this establishment much bigger.

This is my favorite spot of pupusas! This time I tried the caldo and it did not disappoint! And the rice was perfect!

I keep coming back, because they don't disappoint and the waitresses are so sweet to us. My favorite thing to order here is pretty simple. A double order of refried beans and a chicken tamale. The beans are silky and full of flavor. Made from red and pinto beans, they may be different from the refried beans most people are used to which are made with just pinto beans. Mark usually orders the special, which is generally some type of beef. I've sneaked a few bites and I can vouch; it's tasty! Well seasoned and tender. You may be wondering... "Hey, isn't this place all about the pupusas?" Well, yes... that's true, but ever since I ordered that chicken tamale and had those beans, it's what I always want. The tamale is more like a Puerto Rican Pastele than a Mexican tamale and I just cant resist. But I have had the pupusas and they are tasty too. Stuffed with an assortment of meats and cheeses and accompanied by a tangy shredded cabbage condiment that may remind you of a less pungent and less spicy kimchee. It's perfect for cutting through the richness of the dish. Lastly, I must comment on the aguas frescas, I haven't asked, but I'm pretty sure they are fresh. It's been a long time since I had such good horchata and tamarindo. Really a treat!

I picked up a customer of mine and he said let's go to a small South American place just down the street. From the outside, didn't look like much. From the inside, much bigger and certainly a South American flair. World Cup is going on so all the TVs had that on. Tons of wines sitting out , mostly Malbecs, my fav. Just a great vibe. But on to the main course. We both had the steak picanha. Med Rare. On my. Good Lord. This was awesome. I generally don't eat steaks out as they are overpriced and not cooked to my liking. The chef did an awesome job. Med Rare - spot on. Perfecto. I've been to Argentina many times in business and eaten many great steaks, this can be included in that. I know, I know...people swear by Pappa's Steak or Taste of Texas, but this small, unassuming place tops them all. And a fantastic SA wine list. Please give them a try. Will not be disappointed.

The lunch menu came with a choice of either soup or salad, which I got the lentil soup. The soup was thick and hearty. It was very good. My steak was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. The sides were well-seasoned too. The size of the steak, to me, was sufficient and considered big for a lunch menu. I had a triple chocolate tres leches after my steak. It was the perfect ending. I received warm and excellent service throughout my lunch. The restaurant is big and suitable for all party sizes. There is plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant, so that is a plus point.

Authentic Dominican/Caribbean food in Willowbrook. Who knew?…read more I remember this place from a birthday party decades ago. The space was a bit bigger (they've since redesigned it smaller), but the crowds were smaller. Success hasn't tarnished their food. It was a very rainy and soggy afternoons and the place was packed. We managed a table and ordered. Can't go wrong with the delicious shrimp mofongo. I honestly think the sauce is the icing on that cake, made all the more delicious with a squeeze of lemon. Whew! Service was fast and dinner came out at a reasonable pace. The owner is so friendly and stopped by our table to make sure things were good. Better than good! If you're in the Willowbrook area do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner. Prices are a little steep, but what's isn't these days?

I ordered the pollo guisado and moro, both were good and we have a little left over. My partner ordered the pica pollo and the fried chicken was decent. The food does take some time, and servers did not check in too often so I would recommend ordering ahead of time (unless you have a long lunch break), There are plenty of tables, but it is a little dark inside, 2 bathrooms inside. The juice was on the sweet side so just watered it down (wish they have smoothies), but they get 5 stars overall for the flavor and the price point. Plenty of parking as it's in located along other stores.

They renovated and everything is much nicer inside. Area is much bigger and modern. They have indoor seating with a huge covered patio and a playground for kids. I love that they offer a dish called Tipiquito it is a smaller version of the traditional Colombian dish known an 'Bandeja Paisa'. Not all Colombian restaurants offer this smaller version. I am happy to share about my experience when I helped coordinate a work event to feature Colombian food and I secured a catering order with Gran Colombia! They were quick to help me over the phone, they answered all my questions, they were willing to make the drive to memorial area to deliver the food.
