Wish i could give no stars... went here friday night for dinner.. music to loud, asked waiter if the chili relano was spicy,he said absolutely not so i i orderd. (Ive had them before and knew they are a tad spicy) one bite of this and my mouth was on fire for over 5 minutes....this was inedible...even the person i was dining with who loves spicy could not stomach this... been here numerous times and again the inability to speak fluent english may be affecting this restaurant and the relationship with the customers and their wants. Mediocre flavorless fajitas. No cap on the sauce on the table which looks horrible. Salt and dirt all over windowsills. Bathroom dirty. Great place in Breese on the way back from Lake Carlyle. The chips and salsa were good. The guacamole was fresh. I had the grilled chicken salad. This is by far the worst Mexican food I've ever had. First I ordered a taco salad with guacamole and they had no guacamole so then I chose the chicken Sausa's. I took two bites and it was just watery chicken no flavor whatsoever so after I was able to get the waiters attention, I asked him to take it back I did not like it. The waiter asked if I wanted something else and I said no my husband is done eating. Then they brought us the bill with both meals one of which was not good or eaten. Will not be back. Just moved to the country after living in St. Louis for 10 years. El Arado definitely made the move a little easier. Top notch Mexican and the place is huge inside. I was nervous when the parking lot was full that we were going to be cramped inside. The place was busy but had plenty of room for 16 of us. The food was fast, hot, and the staff was amazing. This is the best mexican in the region. The food is great and comes out fast. The grilled chicken salad was great. The burrito dish with one chicken and one steak burrito is outstanding. Comes with queso over the top...delicious. The place is always packed Thursday through Saturday. They are a good lunch spot as well. I highly recommend! read more
