This wasn't an extensive visit. I ordered a couple of beef tacos at the drive-thru window. While acceptable in size they certainly weren't stuffed. The ground beef was lightly seasoned and sprinkled with a little cheese and lettuce. Placed in a soft white flour tortilla the tacos were okay but nothing that would draw me back. read more

This place scratches every itch for mexican food you could ask for. Queso is on point and although they don't really have real plates but instead baskets with aluminum foil the quality of the food more than makes up for it. The horchata has refills and the street tacos are fantastic. Highly suggest going in and sitting down for a meal. read more

We stopped here by chance back in September 2018 on our way home from Shawnee wine country. I'm so glad we did. Their tacos Mexicanos are the best! I haven't had much luck with "authentic" Mexican food, let alone tacos since I've moved to Illinois. Their Carne Asada and carnitas are THE BOMB! I give them extra kudos for their creamy beans. Who knew little ol' Centralia had such a gem! If you're in the area or just passing through, so yourself a favor, stop here! I'm a taco snob, and this place definitely has my approval! read more

Chicken bowls and chicken cheese and fries are the two things we get. They always give us plenty and the food is good!

Great food reasonable prices and very clean. Well lit and they have outside seating and drive thru. They can probably hold 30 people inside. Very clean restrooms and dining area. Food tacos taquitos and fries this visit where near perfect mild sauce was good but more like an enchilada sauce. read more

So when I first heard about taco joes I was skeptical do to the fact I'm not a fan of tequilas. Well I'm a honest man and can admit when I'm wrong and boy was I wrong the chicken tacos are so delicious that my mouth is watering as I type this. Only complants I have is that there is a self serve soda dispenser in the dinning area that is not functional. Update: add a mango water to any order for a great refreshing drink. read more

This is my new favorite place for lunch when I'm in Centralia for work travels. I've had the fish and chilango tacos and both are yummy.

Pretty good food, but they never answer the phone. i've called 7 times on one occasion and they still never answered! Also, every time i come in to sit and eat they mess something up but they always fix it with no problem! Honestly delicious food for the low price. read more

Today was our first time here and everything was great! We ordered "street tacos" (I got al pastor) because we love traditional Mexican food. We loved everything we ordered and the staff was very friendly. The horchata and strawberry jamaica were very refreshing. The fish tacos were good but they charged my husband $1.50 for a water from the soda fountain machine!!! They also charged him .50 cents each for tiny cups of salsa verde and red sauce. Come on? We are never charged for this! And 1.50 for water? Who does this. Even McDonalds gives you any size soft drink for $1.00 and most gas stations give you GIANT sized fountain drinks for 79 cents. We were told they are owned by the Mexican restaurant by the train station which we frequent but it makes me not even want to go back there any more! Very disappointed! BUT good tacos!!! ‍ read more

The food taste is really good. This use to be one of my favorite places. The last time I was there the portion sizes have been cut in half, but they are still charging the same price. The Styrofoam container's they constantly tip and pop open spilling everything. read more

Had 3 orders of cheese fries delivered and didn't even get a receipt. A friend of mine told me how good they were. I've had better. There were not many fries there. Since I didn't get a receipt I have no idea how much I really paid. What was the delivery charge. That upsets me more than the small amount of fries swimming in cheese. read more

Outstanding! Have been here several times, tried nearly everything on the menu and *never* been disappointed!
