So cute and delicious! For the main meal, our group of four split the family-size Seafood Paella. Be warned: this dish is absolutely giant--and absolutely beautiful. I personally wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Our appetizers took nearly an hour to get to our table and it wasn't that great as I was expecting. When our main entrees arrived they were cold and the taste was not impressive. Nice patio overlooking Bahia Salinas, friendly staff with good understanding of English as well as Spanish. Good sized empanadillas that are also not to greasy, lots of shrimp in the one we had. Unfortunately, the paella didn't quite live up to the standard set by the empanadillas, the seafood for the most part was overcooked to the point of making us wonder if maybe it was left over from last night as we were there for lunch... No apparent impact from last falls hurricane here, it is fully operational unlike a lot of the other restaurants along the playa here. This place was recommended by my father based on a previous visit of his. The space is pleasant and right on the water. We sat out in the terrace enjoying the water view and the breeze. The service was pleasant and friendly. The menu had a decent wine list with at least ten whites and ten reds. I didn't look at other beverages. Our disappointment came with the food. The "surf and turf" was a bit skimpy for $32.99. The paella was served with beans on the side!?? My parents complained that the seafood in the paella was overcooked and the dish was just warm not hot. My mahi fillet was well seasoned but also overcooked. As a result it was a bit tough and dry. I'm thankful it had a yummy tomato and onion sauce. The desserts seemed homemade and the kids really liked them. Very disappointed in our waiter service that didn't do a good job. Our tables were neglected, and our food was brought to us two hours later, even flat out cold! Even bigger tables that came to the restaurant at a much later time got served before we did. The food was bland, and the manager didn't came to our table to amend the situation. My husband had to take an emergency trip to the island on our anniversary week so he went to eat at this restaurant (in his hometown in Salinas, Puerto Rico) and so to surprise him I called them up and paid for his dinner and his guest and also had the bar take him a cognac and wish him a happy anniversary for me. They were just as friendly as can be and accommodated my every wish. I highly recommend this place and believe me the food is delicious and fresh. I use to love this restaurant when I lived in Puerto Rico. I give it two thumbs up and five stars. Vacationing in PuertoRico and stumbled upon this gem. Our first visit merits 4 stars; I believe in going at least twice to vote 5 stars for any restaurant... We arrived early and where greeted warmly by our server. Our choice of seating. One of two tables on the outdoor patio and a handful of patrons inside. We started off with an order of the sampler pastelellitos (small pastelillos). Winner! Two each of fish (grouper), shrimp and lobster that were delicious! The lobster tail and steak was well cooked and very tasty. The grilled pork chops, white rice and red beans were the "real" Caribbean dish. Too stuffed to finish our food and no room for dessert! The views of the Caribbean Sea make for a wonderful ambiance. A small bar inside has some seating and beautiful views as well with flat screen TVs. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back again when visiting Puerto Rico. read more

Something happen in the kitchen and they went from the best to the WORST grill lobster in PR. The lobster is no longer fresh, when they first show it to you, its already boiled and stored in the freezer, then they cooked it, but it turned out dry and tasteless.
