Popped into Paisajes Curet as I passed through Maunabo, PR. They have friendly service with a great ambiance and beautiful scenery over looking the beach. I ordered the whole red snapper with a garlic sauce and a side order of tostones. Food is prepared to order so it is going to take a little bit to prepare. But, I had time to enjoy an ice cold Medalla Light (beer) while the food was being prepared. The red snapper did not take as long as I expected. It looks delicious and certainly surpassed my expectations. This is my first time having it and it is really good. The tostones are great and with the added Mayoketchup even more tasty. read more

This meal was absolutely delicious 20/10! The red snapper was delivered piping hot, crispy delectable and adorned in a garlicky sautéed onion and sweep pepper mixture. Served on the side perfectly cooked medium grain rice and seasoned red beans. SERVICE 100/100 our server greeted our table with a welcoming smile and Hola. She offered cold waters for my party of 3 and delivered fried house made cheese with house made guava dipping sauce. Our meals were cooked to order assuming gigantic fresh fish took the longest to cook. We all enjoyed the fresh ocean breeze and sounds of the waves hitting the rocks. Latino music played softly in the background. This experience was nothing short of delicious flavorful and amazing. It was truly a culinary delight. Located off the tourist path but if you can find your way down the winding hills it is more than worth it. The views are what make this place worth visiting, truly a sweeping panoramic view. However, the mofongo here was not good at all, their idea of creole seasoning what just basically frozen vegetables tossed in ketchup served with a side of fry sauce. We were staying along PR-3 and wanted to try a Chinchorro as we had passed a bunch on our drive. Paisajes Curet was wonderful. Our server was so energetic and excited to be there. She recommended the Pina colada, and, when in Puerto Rico why not! The view is beautiful as it sits on the coast edge and looks out over the water. Limited parking on a windy road but we had no issues. Mofongo was great! read more

We stopped here based on the view and the advertisement of "experts in seafood". Very disappointed in the food, I ordered a shrimp asopao , basic Puerto Rican dish. No flavor whatsoever. I had to cover it with salt and hot sauce to be able to eat it. read more

This is the second time our Mofongo was rather bland. It was in desperate need of more garlic. The Mero fish nuggets were also a bit rubbery and seemed to have been reheated in a microwave. The wait staff were pleasant and attentive. I'm going to give Paisajes a rest for now and a revisit in a few months to see if things have changed for the better. read more

Was driving by and many places were closed today but Paisajes Curet was open so decided to drop in. The most appealing reason why we also stopped is for the view...Amazing view! The food was delicious. We got a sampler appetizer (for 6 people) loaded with fried deliciousness. For my drink, I got a guava frappe...so good! For my meal, I got chicken stuffed with sweet plantains. Not sure what the white sauce on top was but added a little something to it. For dessert, had a pumpkin flan. To be honest, it didn't taste like pumpkin at all but it was really tasty nevertheless. Nice texture and real creamy. read more

I can't post a full review because we did not eat. While visiting PR my neighbor suggested we stop here and that the food was really good. Unfortunately we literally had just eaten so we stopped and had a drink and enjoyed the view. We will certainly go on our next trip. read more

We found this spot as we were driving around the island in discovery mode. Glad we did !! The restaurant looks really nice and has an amazing view! We stated off with an appetizer platter and as soon as it arrived we realized we were in too deep but I am no quitter and the challenge was accepted. Everything in the platter was really good. For main dish I order a mofongo stuffed with chicken in "criollo" sauce. The mofongo was disappointing as it was about 2lbs of plantain and maybe 2oz of meat. It was good and the seasoning was pretty good as well. I had parcha "passion fruit" frappe. They didn't have any dessert that called my name and I guess it was a good thing because I was STUFFED by the time I finished my food. Prices were reasonable but in the mid to high end. I would definitely come back and recommend to everyone. read more

Sunday is a day to experience (on the island). Atmosphere inside was fun. Our waitress was wonderful. We didn't understand each other so google translator played a part of our night but it was fun for all of us. The service was slow. This night was not very busy. Not sure why it took so long to get our food. The food was just ok. Part of it was our lack of understanding. What we thought we ordered wasn't exactly what we got. Went with a group of young people from Maryland. The food was amazing. I had the some sort of soup and I loved it. My wife had the mofo go and it was really good. Everyone in the group loved what they ate here. The server/host was very friendly. She took a group photo for us and of us because we had so much fun trying to communicate with each other. Our Knowledge of each other's language was poor but it didn't stop us from conversing all evening. The view is breathtaking. It was a full moon the evening that we were there.
