Stopped by this coffee shop and ordered a Mexican chocolate frappe. It was delicious and tasted just like the abuelita hot chocolate in Frappe form. I loved it! The coffee shop is small but service was good. It was a bit busy and since there was only one worker I had to wait a bit but it was worth the wait. I recommend stopping by. Stumbled across this little gem near my home. Cute little shop. I primarily went in because I saw that their menu had crêpes. I had the classic crêpes and they were delicious. They're not stingy on the fruit topping. I also saw that they had a café de la olla. I'm a huge fan of that coffee and this location, coffee was delicious and it was served in a cute mug. I was looking for a coffee shop near my work because Starbucks is way too far and takes too long for the coffee to come out. I did some research and this little coffee shop popped up. I do not regret coming here! I got a vanilla latte easy on the ice and asked for it to not be too sweet, also had the option to use almond milk instead of regular milk and I could honestly say... it tastes a lot better than Starbucks! She made it exactly how I like my coffee. That rich coffee taste and not thick and not too sweet. It's perfect! But I'm sure if you like your coffee thick and sweet she can also make it that way. Customer service here is always good. I'm a customer because I love their strawberry shortcake & their Nutella shakes they're both delicious. The other day I was there and I mistakenly got a vanilla shake although I had ordered a Nutella one; I didn't mind because it's so delicious too. Today I went back and the guy remembered, he apologized about the other day although as I said I didn't even mind (that's why I just left that day without complaining). First time there I saw some mini bite size Easter cookies and thought it would be cute to buy for my daughter. It came in a pack of 3 and they were about 1"x1" each. Tiny. My daughter opened and ate one of the cookies in literally one bite. When it was time to pay I was in shock. 6$ for the cookies. Meaning 2$ a bite. Lol I'm not one to complain or ask for a refund. I'm like most who just never returns to the place again. Cashier guy seemed nice and tried to justify that they're hand made. One of my friends recommended this place. I absolutely love their iced cafe de Olla with almond milk. I wish they had soy milk and that their cup was bigger. I've tried the horchata latte with almond milk and I personally do not like almond milk and that's why I only buy cafe de Olla since it's the only one I can drink with almond milk. Their hot cafe de Olla is delicious as well. Probably one of the best cafe de Olla I've tried. Their chocolate and vanilla cake pops are also delicious and the Oreo cup cakes! I ordered for delivery and was very happy with my order. First, I love the tamper evident seals on the bags and on the smoothie. I had a lot of modifications and they accommodated me. It was mostly leaving things off of the sandwhiches or crepes. I really appreciated it. My one possible issue is the smoothie and I think they couldn't adjust the milk due to the nature of it being a smoothie, I wanted it more slushy (it was really hot) but it was still tasty. We tried the strawberry cheesecake and classic crepes and they were yummy and get a good amount of fruit topping. Both the turkey and ham sandwiches were good. But this sounds weird, we couldn't tell the difference between the ham and the turkey. The turkey looked and tasted like the ham. (It has been a while since I had deli/processed meat.) It is possible that it was a mixup and indeed both sandwiches were ham. But we like both so that worked. read more
