I visited The Sunny Sunny over the weekend. The day I visited the place was buzzing with a lot of customers, a festive vibe all around . Most people were grabbing cold boba drinks , slushies -which looked so yummy - , but I was feeling like a hot drink so I ordered a Hazelnut Vietnamese coffee late with a slice of coffee cake . I loved both of them! The Sunny Sunny makes the best of its cozy space because they also offer a variety of gifts : air dry clay , bilingual books , t-shirts , tote bags , etc . I don't live in the area but next time I happen to be around , I will definitely make a stop read more

I had the pleasure of trying out a few drinks from this new coffee/boba shop in my neighborhood. I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai iced tea and enjoyed both. The V iced coffee has a nice coffee flavor with a a creamy texture and is just strong enough to get you through the afternoon. The Thai iced tea was also very good. I got it 75% sweet and it was perfect. The inside of the shop is nice and cozy. It has some cool books and clothing items to purchase. I recommend you all give it a try. The service was amazing! Have been seeing this place pop up on my instagram feed for a few weeks now and decided to check it out. The ambiance is so cute and has so many fun games, popular books, cards and journals. I was greeted right when I came in and answered all of my questions regarding the sweetest of the milk tea. I also was so interested in the coffee jelly and she said it was really delicious. Like a couple of other Yelpers, I, too, saw a couple videos pop up on my Instagram feed from The Sunny Sunny owner (great job advertising your business!) We decided to stop by today and the drinks DO NOT DISAPPOINT! We purchased the Strawberry Matcha and the Horchata Frappe and both were delicious and not overly sweet. The flavors in the horchata frappe really stood out to both of us, and the matcha was really well balanced and yummy after mixing it. The frappe was a little on the crunchier side because of the ice, but I really enjoyed that. The owner is very friendly and offered her recommendations. Saw a video of this shop on TikTok and had to try it out. I ordered an iced latte with sugar free vanilla and two slushy boba drinks. It was super delicious and refreshing! So glad we decided to try this spot! The place is so cute & has adorable books for sale as well. We enjoyed everything we tried - iced matcha, Hibiscus tea with mango jelly, mango slush with lychee jelly, & an iced latte with strawberry cold foam. The cold foam is such a delicious topper - not too sweet but adds the right amount of unique flavor to set it apart from other places. They always greet you with the nicest attitude and chat it up with you if you'd like, and the whole store itself it's extremely cozy and quant and allows for easy distraction while waiting for your order! And lastly the menu is great! I love that you can customize your sweetness on your drink and add the toppings given to create a mixture of a drink, this place is going to pop off eventually and it should be NOWW, recommend if you're looking for a three n one desert spot, having bobas, lattes, and shaved ice! read more

This is a spot that everyone needs to try. We went with my in-laws and the snow is to die for. Personally, I got the snow with lychee jelly and mango with no sweetener. I had such a great experience at The Sunny Sunny! The customer service was amazing-- Natalie was so kind and welcoming, and she gave the best drink recommendations. You can tell she care about making sure the customers enjoy their visit. The atmosphere was cute and cozy but it is just to get a drink and go. It's a small space, but everything put well together. All the books, journals, and shirts were cute !! I ordered an Iced Latte topped with Cinnamon and it was really good! I enjoyed it and will be returning to try a different coffee. Gorgeous shop Great service Reasonable prices Quality ingredients First time here and the moment you step in your completely overwhelmed with the scent of melting butter and hot sugar yummm !! I came here over the weekend with a sweet tooth. I didnt come here with much expectations because I figured "it's just cookies". I left in awe because .. the cookies are so soft, delicious and there's a great selection and variety. I'm so glad I came here because I'd definitely come again. I had my whole day planned out with a list of events to attend but first I wanted to stop by Patria and grab some coffee to start my morning off. Located in a parking lot next to Wilson Park on Compton Blvd and Alameda Street you'll find this nice cut lawn in front of this small white building, Patria Coffee Roaster. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. It feels welcoming and safe. The restroom was clean. They also have many different events held there. If you're ever in the area definitely pull up and check em' out. It's black owned as well. I actually ended up sitting there in the lot sipping my coffee while working on my video to post on social media. The coffee was good and tasteful. Didn't need any sugar. Great vibes and great coffee. You can even go the park right next door and get your steps in or just chill. I definitely recommend coming here. If you're passing thru the area or coming to the city, do yourself a favor and pull up. Check em' out. Grab you a coffee or something. Prices are reasonable and the community is welcoming to all individuals.

Unfortunately just leaving this review because according to business hours on Yelp they are an operating business with operating hours but when I went to the business no one was there and it says "coming soon" What?? I have no idea how there are reviews for a place that is apparently not even open. Also called their number during business hours and did not receive an answer. At the time of this review it says the hours were updated one month ago btw which is not that long ago. I would be happy to update my review the next time I choose to go out of my way to try them if they are actually open next time! read more
