Stopped here after a quick trip to Northgate Market. Surprised this place had so many reviews, so had to check it out. My husband and I came here pretty late, I would've liked to try their churros and other desserts that looks super delicious, but wasn't feeling it when we visited. We just opted to get a large horchata to share. I was not really a fan. Their horchata is super, super freaking sweet. I've definitely had better horchata elsewhere. The price and quantity is fair I think, but I'll have to try other things on their menu to see if just the horchata is not to my taste. Interior is very clean and spacious. This place is very well decorated, with art and merchandise around the store. However, it took quite a while before my order was taken even when no one was in front of me. Kind of just awkwardly stood there and took my phone out because no one came to take my order. Service was nice though when someone finally came over to take my order, and I got my drink really quick. There's a little bit of parking available, you may have an issue grabbing a spot on a typical day I think. There is a convenient drive-thru though. Will try to check this place out again whenever I'm nearby, I'm hoping other drinks will be better.

iced horchata latte

The latte is too sweet and doesn't taste like espresso at all. If you get the horchata latte be prepared to taste sugar and cinnamon. I got the smallest size and it was $7.31 which is kinda crazy for something that doesn't taste like espresso.

Right when I stepped in, I was genuinely impressed by the amount of space and authentic Mexican art/decor they had! There was also a brewery that is soft opening inside which was a nice touch. We came for the churro sundae and it was absolutely delicious. The churros were perfectly fresh and the horchata ice cream was top notch. Perfect for sharing! The drinks, though, were way too sweet, especially the green tea horchata. I wish there was a way to make it less sweet but they unfortunately don't have any adjustment options.

Huge Mexican Coffee Shop. Nicely decorated. I got the Horchata Steamer and Chorizo Gravy and biscuits with 2 over easy eggs. Yummy. My first time visiting finally. I'll be back.

Omgg I love this place! The inside is soo cute! It was my first time trying this place and safe to say it won't be my last! I got a Horchata Cafe Latte with strawberry cold foam and it was to die for. And don't get me started on that chocolate croissant, YUM!! Since this was my first time, I asked the girl at the cashier about the types of cold foam they had and she responded very kindly. Overall 10/10 experience for me and I def will be coming back!

Tried two new items. First the Strawberry cold foam coffee! Yummy 5/5 stars. Then I tried the mazapan cold foam coffee and it was complete opposite... super watered down coffee and the cold foam was flavorless and cost $1.60. Why does it cost so much?? It literally had no taste, I was so disappointed

Horchata Iced Coffee with Lechera and Caramel

I was excited to try Horchatería Río Luna based on the reviews, but unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. The coffee was extremely bland and lacked flavor. It tasted watered down and didn't have the rich taste I expect from a specialty coffee shop. The horchata was alright, but not enough to make up for the disappointing coffee. Given all the positive reviews, I expected something much better. Overall, I found the place overrated and don't see myself returning.

A different place , a nice place for kicks and coffee and pastries made with love and that are one of a kind. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and loved the horchata iced coffee which was superb. I drove from Orange County after seeing this place a while back somewhere . Service was awesome the place was chill and spacious and relaxing . Come one, come all!

The colorful artwork on the walls brings out a pop of color to the gray walls.

The vibey place is very spacious, got good music, and yummy treats! My boyfriend and I have been here twice so far and we enjoy it! The watermelon agua fresca was not overly sweet and was light tasting, which I really enjoyed! The cheesecake was nice and cold, the graham cracker crust was very crumbly though but the taste was very rich! The second time we went, we got a mazapan frappe and the strawberry paleta frappe; BOTH very true to the flavors and very strong! These were paired with nice, hot, fresh mini churros and got some chocolate dipping sauce on the side. The chocolate is a little on the runny side; I know for the future I will be getting the lechera sauce instead! But these drinks were perfect for the heat wave we were experiencing! Lots of indoor seating, they sell very cute merch that includes coin concha purses, stickers, mugs, etc. We have only come together on Tuesday evenings so I am not sure what any other day is like or if it is more busy on a weekend. But I will definitely be coming back to try out other drink flavors and yummy desserts!

Came here specifically for the Churro Sundae. The churros were freshly made and had a great flavor. They were not as crispy as I like them on the outside, but the inside was warm, slightly chewy, and soft like I like them. Perfectly paired with the guava and lechera sauce it was smothered with. Ice cream was a great addition as well. The place is huge! Service was good. They also serve breakfast. Great place for dessert!

Stylish cups with presence definitely recommend, give yourself a treat!

Walked in for a horchata steamer and walked out feeling like I'd just been wrapped in a cinnamon blanket. The drink came out quick, no waiting around while my sweet tooth negotiated terms. First sip? Warm, creamy, perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, not bland. Just smooth horchata comfort with that subtle cinnamon hug that makes you slow down and appreciate life for a second. The space is open and inviting, easy to relax in, and the service was genuinely friendly without feeling forced. You can tell they take pride in what they're serving. If you need something warm, comforting, and worth the calories, this horchata steamer is it. Definitely recommend. El Yepista - Gabriel

The concha was good 4.5. The churro muffins were absolutely delicious 5/5. The hot chocolate was good, not too sweet. The horchata steamer 5/5 not too sweet, you could taste the horchata and hot chocolate. The cafe de olla frappe 5/5 wasn't too strong in coffee. The churros were good and thick. They tasted fresh, and I'm pretty sure they made them which is why it took a little longer to receive. The workers were kind and patient, super efficient too. The ambiance was super dope. The vibe was nice, area clean. It was giving modern Mexican culture vibes.

The ambiance and cleanliness inside of this cafe was very impressive! I was told to go here by a friend. It's like a rustic industrial warehouse vibe inside with lots of homey hispanic decor. After waiting at the counter and looking at the menu for a while (because only one guy was working.. doing both drive thru and the front!!), I picked out the Horchata frappe. The only thing was I expected to taste more of the Horchata flavor.. I feel like it was a creamy milk frappe with very tame expresso and lots of cinnamon powder shaken on the whip cream. Unfortunately it tasted alright to me, but hopefully it was just because the barista was in a rush being by himself and didn't do things correctly? I did enjoy relaxing on the couches but I found myself not really wanting to finish my drink. If I were to come back here, I'd only do so if someone invited me or if I wanted to study in here. Not sure if I would want to go back again on my own. Bathrooms were big and clean inside. The pastries and bakery items look promising.

I was in the area and I've never had a cute coffee with the latte art (so many of my friends are going to roast me for this) When I pulled up -nice private parking -a staff member was outside painting on the windows with the cutest window art. The girl had talent! This place has also given back. They helped with the LA fires last year. So bonus points for places who give back. (They gave back to the Pasadena humane society) There was a pretty big line and it was pretty loud in here, but it went by very fast. My friend grabbed a table while I placed the order. -they do have a good amount of seating. The place is pretty small though. So we sat for a minute after our drinks came out and then decided to take it to go -they have latte art that changes every month. So I like they have some rotating options. It was my turn and I ordered two sugar free mocha iced coffees. One with regular foam, And mine had strawberry foam. When I told Matthew at the counter it was really important the one drink be as sugar free as possible due to my friend being diabetic, he warned us there was sugar in the foam, but he would go as light as possible. So I appreciate him warning us and taking it serious. I picked the new hello kitty art of the month (hello kitty in a bathing suit with waves and dolphins) And my friend picked from the new monthly latte art as well, and got the Kirby character Even though it was busy, it took probably 2 minutes for our drinks to be made Matthew was absolutely great. His energy, he had a smile on his face, was knowledgeable about the menu, Matthew was everything you'd want in a staff member. Just like any coffee place, you pay and give them a name for your order, and then they call your name and you pick up your coffee at the counter. These drinks hit the spot!!! It was very trendy. They had Sabrina carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo specials and they even had a Lana Del Rey latte (cinnamon girl, named after her song) only thing that bummed me out They had a case with delicious pastries. But since I came here later in the day, they only had a couple stragglers left behind -they open at 7 am, for everyone needing their morning coffee -vegan options -free WiFi -woman owned -LGBTQ owned -they give back to the community

I ordered an iced caramel latte, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The espresso was rich and flavorful, while the caramel added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the drink. I also loved that they use coffee ice cubes, it kept the latte from getting watered down, and honestly, I thought it tasted even better as it sat. The staff was friendly, and our drinks came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The only downside was the atmosphere. It's a very small shop with seating for maybe 20 people inside, plus 4 small two-person tables outside (without any shade). When we visited, almost everyone else was working on laptops, so it didn't feel like the best place to sit and chat. The music was also fairly loud and mostly K-pop, which didn't really match the coffee shops aesthetic and made conversation a little more difficult. Parking was probably my biggest complaint. There are only four dedicated parking spots, and the surrounding residential street parking was completely packed. I ended up parking in the chicken restaurant's lot across the street. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee, it was genuinely one of the better iced caramel lattes I've had. If you're looking to grab a quality drink to go, I'd highly recommend it. Just be prepared for limited seating and a challenging parking situation.
