El Camino Bluffton - there are several El Camino restaurants in the area. I have always experienced a friendly staff. The places have been clean and well staffed. The food comes out with incredible speed. The service is always prompt and on top of the refills. The chips are freshly made and moderately thick. They have a nice crisp with a slight oily taste. The salsa has a lower level of spiciness so it appeals to most all customers. It is moderately thick in consistency. All delicious. On this occasion I went with the Quesadillas Mazatlan. The quesadillas was large and softly grilled. It was packed with plenty of shrimp and cheese. A very nice dish. The rice was nicely cooked and spiced. Food is always excellent, however, we called 2 days before Christmas Eve to ask what the hours would be, was told open until 3. Family got ready to go celebrate daughter's 21st birthday with Mexican and margaritas only to find the restaurant closed at 1 o'clock. Needed to feed hungry g-kids and wife after hiking near Wabash river . Glad first place was closed which allowed us to experience this Mexican gem. Great service , tasty food and nice atmosphere. The beef is mush, chicken is dry, rice has no flavor. Everything about the food was garbage.

The food here is really good. We haven't had a wait yet to get in. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We've had incredible service every visit. Every time we've been here we've received our food within 5 minutes of ordering and it has always been incredible. The food isn't anything different than any other semi-authentic Mexican restaurant, but the portions are much larger than average, and the service is the fastest of any restaurant I've been to. They're even quicker than most Fast Food chains I've been to. The prices are cheap as well. My wife and I usually only drink water at restaurants and our bill here with 2 burritos or a burrito and fajitas is usually around $17-20 with tip. Pretty affordable, and beats most other small restaurants around. read more

Oh El Camino, my favorite hometown Mexican restaurant. It's exactly what you would expect and it never disappoints. Chips and salsa almost immediately when you sit down. Delicious, got queso. My favorite entrees are quesadilla rellena, pollo loco, arroz con pollo and fajitas. I don't have four favorite meals at many restaurants, but this is one of em. Lots of seating, also a patio during the summer. Must visit if you find yourself in Bluffton. read more

El Camino has been a staple in the Bluffton community, but unfortunately it falls a little short of my standards. The service is always friendly and prompt. But almost too fast. I have had times where I sit down, feel rushed to order and then the food it on the table before I can even each the chips and salsa. Makes you wonder why it's so fast. The chips and salsa are always fresh. And the margaritas are a great price for the size. The food unfortunately, is greasy and doesn't feel original. Most of the dishes seem like a different iteration of one another covered in queso cheese. Because there aren't many choices, this place always seems to be busy but they work hard to get people served as quickly as possible. Not my favorite, but not a bad stop for Mexican in the area. read more

Been here a few times and every time had awesome service!!! Super fast and respectful! This time we had a party of 31 people and we ordered and got our meals within 10 min. It was incredible!! I got the New shrimp salad and it was so so good! The chips and Salsa were endless and awesome. One of my favorite parts is the HUGE glasses for drinks! I drink a lot of water especially with spicy food and I about can't get through a glass when I'm there. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. There is a large outdoor seating area. I would definitely recommend coming here for the food but mostly the great service!! read more

Ordered tamales. They were bad. Like, rotten bad. The waiter smelled them and agreed. Asked if i wanted something else but the thought made my stomach turn. They didn't even take them off my bill even though they were inedible. read more

One of the better Mexican restaurants I've been to. Fajitas are to die for and the salsa is on point. Huge menu with something for everyone. Great place for a family get together and dates. Classy place and very well kept. Food is quick and ALWAYS hot. Definitely recommend for dinner. Only downfall is the price but the quality makes up for it. read more

It's huge portions and absolutely delicious regardless of what you decide to order...You definitely don't leave here hungry....I have yet to eat what's on my plate... Food was ok...seemed a bit understaffed for Mother's Day. Floor was dirty...continually walking over crumbs and food left on floor from wait staff sweeping but not cleaning up from floor. Would hate to eat here if they were busy. Only 4 tables had customers during visit. read more
