This storage facility is under new management. You must be out of facility by 9pm. By the time I get off work and drive there.... I barely have enough time to access what I need. I was already unhappy about 10pm close time in the past and now it's just not going to work out with new times--- paying same rent (actually I was just increased) I was not notified of the change in hours. After 4+ years, I am cleaning out my storage unit as we will finally have enough space for our stuff. This storage facility has been a true blessing. We have lived in a very small space for 7 years and just couldn't hold everything in our condo. El Camino self storage is AFFORDABLE in any comparison to any other storage place around. Plus, it's clean, secure and has a ton of cameras so you feel safe and your belongings are too. Jeanette has always been a huge help with any of our needs. Over the years we have used 3 or 4 different units from a 4 x 4 up to a 20 x 20. I'm glad I not longer need use of the service, but if I do I will be back here!! Highly recommend!!!! read more

We've been customers at El Camino Self Storage (both locations) for a while now and have been really happy with them. This is review is for the De La Cruz location (though we are happy with both). This month we finished some home upgrades and moved our patio furniture out of storage, and no longer need the extra storage unit anymore. We moved our items out, checked the unit to make sure it was tidy, removed our lock and closed it up. I notified De La Cruz in writing of our move-out and just gave them a ringaling today to confirm everything was ok, and it was! Moving in was so smooth and the kind lady that assisted us in moving-in, couldn't be warmer, kinder and more professional. We adore her and we are looking for reasons to need a second storage unit so we can come back to De La Cruz. I didn't know how the move-out experience would be, but it was extremely simple and straightforward. I also want to say that their prices were very fair and quite a bit below other bit conglomerates like Public Storage. I can see that they are a small local family business that runs their operation with care and pride, to provide a good service that regular folks can afford. I really appreciate that. I would gladly recommend El Camino Self Storage for folks need a place to store things short-term and long-term. read more

I have no idea what happened that some of the reviews are so negative about one of the honest, most kind and most professional person at that facility!!! (I honestly think someone got upset and asked their peeps to follow them to post those fake reviews as we never ever experienced nothing but amazing service and approach from Jeanette and her Team!) And let me quickly explain my such appreciation for Jeanette and the El Camino Self Storage Team! They were always extremely supportive and even in the hard time for me and my Family when I lost my job, Jeanette as a manager was in touch with me and kindly responding to each my message showing her empathy and understanding! Again - never ever felt ignored, never ever felt like I'm another number on their storage unit list, never ever left alone nor without the professional approach!! Always got a reply to my questions, always within just 24h, and every single time it was such a pleasant experience!! The facility is clean (since moved there), very well managed and... I remember during the Covid time we were always reminded about using masks and all precautions even within our own storage area!! (again in very polite and professional way!) No complains here at all!! Also... let me tell you something - I truly adore Jeanette patience as she and her Team have to deal with all "Karens" in the world and what I noticed they do that with their biggest smile trying to make everyone comfortable no matter what!! Yesterday I was shopping around for different storage places near by home and came across this one and a few others. I was looking for something cost-efficient for the next 3-6 months. The items I'm storing (clothing, bedding, paperwork, extra hardside luggage) don't have much value and don't need climate control. (Though I've taken extra precautions when I packed these items to prevent issues -vacuum sealed bags that aren't packed to the max, in totes with moth balls in each container.) Sooo finding something that was small, under $100, with relatively easy access and month to month terms was what I was looking for. Ultimately I found El Camino Self storage after checking in with two other places. The other places were out of budget once their 1 month promotion ended and or their access wasn't as convenient as this place. I drove to the office to check in and verify the promotion and take a look at the various sizes. Jeanette (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) Was super friendly and easy going about the whole process. Answered my questions, showed me the two sizes I was interested in and gave me some tips about the sizes and locations of the units. Today I called to remove the standard lock, drove up to the entrance and dropped my stuff off, super super easy. Hands down an easy process, I just wished moving stuff into my vehicle was as easy as everything else about this experience! read more

So I had originally grabbed a storage unit elsewhere due to last minute moving which cause me to pay too much for a small space. A friend if mine recommended me to el Camino self storage they said it was cheap and very convenient so I decided to stop by and take a look and was able to talk to Jeanette about getting a unit from them. She was very helpful and even showed me a unit they had available which was the perfect size I needed and at a very low price, I was in and out in no time and very satisfied with the unit I got as well as the price! Jeanette in the front office is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in my entire life. You can tell by the way she takes this job and her position as a Manager waaaaaay to serious. And that this must be the first and only Management position she has obtained her entire adult life. This place used to be so clean, tidy, and well managed, but since Covid, it's extremely dirty, dusty, and does not follow proper protocol when it comes to business law and order. She sits and constantly watches you on camera for hour and hours when she could be doing something way more constructive with her time and energy instead of looking up peoples a**holes with the surveillance cameras. It is a breath of fresh air at Extra Space Storage, so much more peaceful, clean, professional, pricing is excellent. Renters beware!!! please do not have a life emergency or situation that delays or changes the way you make your payment to the facility. There is not a once of empathy coming from this girl.
