Mole enchilada platter.
Troy H.

It was okay. Every once in a while you find an amazing small town restaurant. This meets basic standards. Very standard rice, beans, and salsa - although the salsa did have some fresh elements to the standard bottled version. The mole seemed like it was missing something to give it depth. Cumin? Allspice? Like a banjo missing two strings, but it was decent. My friend really liked his steak fajita. Nice sear with pepper flavor not overwhelming. I had a sample and enjoyed it.

The service is the best of any restaurant you will visit in the entire magic valley area. The inside has plenty of seating. Booths, and tables. Lots of TVs to watch sports. The food. Mmmmmm. I have been here several times. The chips and salsa. Money! Ask for their spicier salsa if you need to. I ordered a Molcajete loco. My wife got their steak fajitas. For the most part the Molcajete was good. The bacon wrapped shrimp....bleh. Yucky. I don't enjoy my shrimp being that well done. No bueno! Everything else fantastic. My wife enjoyed the fajitas. I have had their other Molcajete dishes. Those are great. I do recommend this restaurant. It's good food at a reasonable price.

It was like deja vu all over again. I'm still loving this place as much as I did when The Love Of My Life Hubby brought me here on our 2nd date. I order the same thing Molcajete Loco every time. I do come here regularly now at The same table and same exact waitress Sandy which is definitely preferred.

Not sure what this was called but the gentleman that ate it thought it was wonderful. Shrimp, scallops, fruit, veggies.

Excellent food and service and we were a party of 17! Our waiter was funny, charming and quick! I like that all the servers came to help with the large order and we were all served at once.

This place is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been too. The waiter truly loves his job and it shows. Now a days it's hard to find good service. This waiter knows the menu and super attentive with a smile. The food is delicious! We had three different seafood dishes, all unique flavors and plentiful portions. The ambiance is very clean with Mexican music in the background. Super clean bathrooms too. If you're anywhere near here, stop in for yummy food.

This place was ok but the service wasn't good and the enchilada sauce tasted like plain tomato sauce. There are soooo many Mexican places in the TV and we probably won't be back to this one

The food is excellent and very well priced for the portion sizes which are generous. The staff are very friendly.

I sincerely wanted this place to have good Mexican food. No... not just good food, I wanted it to…read morehave amazing food. I wanted to give it a five star review and support local restaurants and the families who run them. Sadly, that did not happen. My first clue should have been the empty parking lot. Let's be honest, an empty parking lot at a restaurant at 6:30 pm is never a good sign. Granted, it was a Thursday evening but... no cars? The second clue should have been the fact that the restaurant didn't even smell like food when I entered. I mean, don't restaurants normally smell like the food they are cooking? You would think that, unless of course they are opening a can of this and a can of that and throwing it in the microwave. The food was unpalatable. I'm not exaggerating. Oh sure, it was hot, but then again, so is poo when it comes out of the wagging end of a dog. Everything - EVERYTHING, from the rice and refried beans, to the Carne Asada burrito was completely flavorless. I have no idea how that happens. How does that happen? I mean, Taco Bell is disgusting, but at least it has flavor. Well, I tried to remedy the situation by using Tabasco sauce, in the end, I took three bites, gave up, and asked for my check. I gave them one star because the service was great. They were attentive and kind and the food was awful. I am hoping the owners will read this review and take drastic steps to improve the quality of their food. You should never leave a Mexican restaurant and think to yourself, "Gee, I wonder if there's a Taco Bell near by, I am still really hungry."

Food was just okay. Not a lot of flavor. Service was great. Not sure I would make the trek again.read more
