Very Friendly Family Ran Clean Restaurant! On the corner of Nuevo and Lakeview. I had Asada Street Tacos they use so much meat I had to use a spoon to eat the meat that fell out while I was eatting my taco. The seasoning was on point notoverdone, with the cilantro or onions. Meat was the main ingredient in the tacos. The salso they serve with the chips was so tastie I could of ate it with a spoon well I kind of did with the amount I put on my tacos. Not local to the area but will be sure to come back anytime I come this way!! Don't sleep on this place, you will thank me later.

I came here based on reviews. It is very small inside. It's a hole in the wall place and if you're coming here after sunset it's hard to see where to park because the parking lot is dark. If you pay with credit card they charge .50 cents. They also sell beer . Also big fat men driving big trucks park however TF they like blocking other parking spaces, I was getting threatening looks from one of them. As I'm waiting for my food a homeless person just came out of the bathroom with wet hair. Now for the food, I ordered the carne asada nachos, shredded beef burrito and 9 tacos; 3 asada, 3 chicken and 3 Al pastor. The nachos had a mystery meat that I was not able to chew, my son agreed with me. The shredded beef burrito was delicious according to my husband. The tacos were good but I've had better. I will not be coming back here.

Visited El Comal for the first time today. Their whole menu looked amazing. I had the super nachos! A bed of chips, topped with beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and mouthwatering asada. This restaurant is definitely a hidden Gem! I can't wait to visit again to try some of their other dishes! Highly recommend paying them a visit when in town!

" They Worked Hard To Please Everyone " El Comal Mexican Restaurant in Nuevo, CA catered a 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration. The Event was at the Carrillo Ranch. Maria De Jesus, and Rolando arrived at the Ranch very early to start setting up the serving counter with Chips & Dip, 3 kinds of salsa, onions, cilantro, limes, beans, tortillas, rice, and the 12 hour slowly cooked in a pit by the Carrillo Ranch, tender shredded roast beef. Maria De Jesus and Rolando did a great job heating the fresh tortilla's and serving the plates of the Mexican food to the Wedding guests.

Came here and ordered Camarones a la Diabla with a side of chiles toreados and they were delicious & spicy! For being in such a rural area, their food is very authentic and reasonably.

I really enjoyed breakfast here. I ordered their menudo sin grano, my husband ordered birria de chivo, and my son ordered the sopes, they bring out chips and salsa when you sit at the table both the waitress and waiter were very nice and kept checking to see if we needed anything I should have gotten their names, but they were both very attentive. The food isn't spicy but they bring a spicy oil chile that is bomb and you spice it up too your liking. The sopes were really good and filling and they make homemade corn tortillas in front of you and bring them to your table right of the flat top grill, even their horchata is made their. If your in the area it's a must try, the place is small but gets packed on the weekends and they social distance the tables.

Nothing like good authentic Mexican food with a Mexican Coke.

Cold be a great place if it was cleaner and had better service. The Loco Burrito is good, but the atmosphere is not everyone's cup of tea.

They are officially back! You can now find them at their new location in the 'Winston Village…read moreShopping Center' (Perris Blvd. & Citrus Ave.), right near Dominguez Pharmacy with plenty of parking available. I placed an online order for pickup and was so happy to see them in a full restaurant setting again rather than the food truck. They've returned with their full menu, including favorites like Tacos, Burritos, Tortas, Sopes, Pozole, Caldos, and Birria. On weekends, they serve delicious Menudo with handmade tortillas. They have the best tacos, hands down. I love their 'Asada Fries'. From their 'Antojitos' menu, the 'Bionico' (fruit salad with homemade sweet cream & toppings) is a personal favorite. Their prices are reasonable and portions are generous. The space is clean, organized, and offers plenty of indoor seating. As always, the service was amazing and the food was authentic. I'll definitely be back!

The food is still great and all the amazing staff is at the new place as well. The owner comes around and asks how the food is and if you need anything else. The ambiance is good. We walked in and they had a small group of teens playing music. I think it's pretty cool that they gave them a chance. We had the menudo which is always good and a flour quesadilla. Both were delicious and definitely recommend. The chilaquiles are also a favorite of mine. No matter what you try here, it will be tasty.
