I was able to change the tire and we made an appointment to Discount Tire here in Las Vegas, Nevada to possibly have the flat repaired. Unfortunately it was not repairable. I could have taken the chance and tried driving it back to California, but with no spare, it could end up being worse. So I decided to replace the one tire. The problem is they didn't have my tire size in stock. Mike the manager did his magic and was able to get one delivered by courier from their local warehouse to the store. We waited a little, but nothing too bad. Mike had his guys install the tire as soon as it arrived. They had us out of there in minutes. I appreciate Mike's honesty. He did not over promise or under deliver. I know where to go in the future if I ever have another tire mishap here in LV.

When I pulled up, there were already three cars ahead of me so I knew it would be a little wait…read morebefore they got to me. That was okay as these guys work really fast. Within five minutes, the guy motioned me where to park and was ready to help me. I showed him the tire with two small nails in it and asked how much a used tire started at. He told me $75, which isn't a good price for used, so I had him simply patch the two holes. That was only $25 and would last long enough for me to order a new tire from the internet and have it delivered. He went to work right away. He was very quick, efficient, and I could tell he had been replacing tires for a while. He circled the two nails that I knew were in the tire and looked for any other nails or objects that might have been hiding in the tread. (I appreciated the attention to detail) No additional defects, so he went to work patching up both holes and did it the way that I was always taught to do it. No shortcuts. (I have seen other places skip steps in the process). Then he placed the tire in the water bath and again, he was carefully checking EVERYTHING like you are supposed to do and not just going through the motions. Very focused on my tire and not chatting & wasting any time. Everything looked good to me and he didn't find any other issues. Seemed like a solid fix and nothing missed. So the tire was ready to be put back on the car. He did that properly as well. (I have seen that done improperly at other places) So I was a happy camper!! I paid and was all set to drive off within the 10 minutes it took him to fix the tire.....perfection! I paid with a debit card. And was off. The guy spoke fluent English and there were no issues understanding him or communicating with him. Some other places have workers who speak pretty broken English and you can't really ask them anything or understand their answers and they have to call somebody else over to interpret. My experience was top notch and I HIGHLY recommend this place!! There really isn't anything more that they could do to improve their service that I can think of other than to lower the price of their used tires a bit to make it more competitive with the local market.

First, I called the number provided and nobody answered. No biggie, I left a message on the obvious Google Voice system, it's been 48 hours and I'm still waiting for that call to be answered so I'm guessing nobody monitors that number. After I called, I took the time to fill out a detailed "request a quote" form and provided exceptional information to the respondant to save them time and effort if possible. I did receive follow up message where I described my issue in depth, I provided my availability and my general location and was told that I would be notified of appointment availability. Long story short, 18 hours of silence from the company led me to take my vehicle to a local shop and get my vehicle serviced. Almost 48 hours after requesting a quote I STILL haven't been offered an appointment. I guess it's probably a good thing that I'm not stranded beside the road waiting, I'd probably be carjacked by now. Not saying the dude doesn't do good work, but you must need to be special to get respect of an appointment or at least enough courtesy to decline the work because you don't have time.

I used to go to Discount Tire exclusively but the last few times I went there, they were only interested in selling me on their most expensive tires that I didn't even need. Not to mention they never even had my size in stock for any tire. I got fed up and found Tire Mart. Not only did they have what size I needed, but they always had different brands of tires in stock. I went with some Crossmax tires a couple years ago and happy to say they're still holding up very well. Best of all, it was about $200 cheaper for all four than Discunt Tire was for two of their cheapest tire that weren't even in stock. Fast forward, I bought some wheels for my car and of course Discunt Tire was trying to upsell me on their ugly wheels instead of mounting the ones I already bought. Also trying to sell me on tires that were absolutely not needed and quoted me $2600 in total for everything. I went back to Tire Mart, and they installed my existing tires onto my new rims and mounted them on the car for only $160. Took less than two hours also vs probably taking all day at the other place. Customer service is always great here, prices are definitely fair, service itself is pretty quick. I'm doing some more work to my car soon and will use Tire Mart for their services. They offer many different financing options as well. I have recommended them to all of my friends and family and will continue to do business with them myself. I live on the southwest side of Vegas and the drive to Tire Mart on Losee is worth it.

They were able to quickly lookup my tire size over the phone and confirm they had the tires available. The tires were only $65 each, which is honestly a steal considering other places I called quoted me at $120 for one tire. They also offer a small discount if you pay in cash. This is a small business and everyone there was nice and professional! The tire service was finished in about 20 minutes and I was back on the road in no time. I will 100% be coming back here the next time I need tires and will recommend them to everyone (:
