Sometimes the unfortunate happens when you are out of town and on vacation. It happens and it happened to us. We got a flat tire. I was able to change the tire and we made an appointment to Discount Tire here in Las Vegas, Nevada to possibly have the flat repaired. Unfortunately it was not repairable. I could have taken the chance and tried driving it back to California, but with no spare, it could end up being worse. So I decided to replace the one tire. The problem is they didn't have my tire size in stock. Mike the manager did his magic and was able to get one delivered by courier from their local warehouse to the store. We waited a little, but nothing too bad. Mike had his guys install the tire as soon as it arrived. They had us out of there in minutes. I appreciate Mike's honesty. He did not over promise or under deliver. I know where to go in the future if I ever have another tire mishap here in LV. read more

He took really good care of me, as I came in with an appointment for my online pre-purchased Tires for installation, and a pair of New windshield wipers too. Got a nail in my tire. The service advisor claimed we had the wrong size tires on our vehicle and needed to change all four and couldn't patch the damaged tire. Took the car around the corner to Firestone and confirmed we have the correct tires on the vehicle and got the tire patched. Discount is predatory at best. read more

I needed to add some air to one of my tires that was low. My coworker suggested Discount Tires which is 5 minutes from where we work. He said that they will check/add air to tires for free. I told him I bought tires for my previous car from a Discount Tire but I had not bought tires for my current car yet, although it's time. He said that didn't matter, they do it for free. There was a line of a couple cars so there was a little wait but not long. The guy that checked my tires was great, he took some info and said I should be looking at getting new tires (which I knew). He explained what the correct tire pressure should be for the summer.He checked all 4 tires and added as needed. He asked if I wanted to check out tires then. I explained I had to get back to work. Edit: Changed my review from 2 stars to 4. They contacted me immediately and made everything right. A+ for customer service. Also, this was the Lake Mead store. Thank you Discount tires. Pictures say 1000 words. $1460 for a new set(with warranty). Tpms light came on the day after new tires, they replaced 2 of the 4 tpms so now I have 2 mis matched chrome to go with my original 2 black ones, tires were scuffed up looking much worse than my old ones, left my rim covered in fix-a-flat. I have bought many tires from them but after this experience I don't know. Gotta take my time tomorrow now to sort tpms problem and just live with mismatched valves I guess. I spend a lot of money keeping my car looking right and this experience doesn't sit well with me. read more

I scheduled a same day appointment with Brett at this Discount Tire location. When we arrived, they took my vehicle immediately and within 30 to 40 minutes we were back on the road driving my 4 Runner with brand new tires. I found that incredible considering my usual tire change appointment takes 2 to 3 hours. No waiting at this location for me! The only downside was that in this terrible economy the price of tires went up about $600. I sure hope things change in 2025! read more

Important backstory: got a flat over 600 miles from home on the exit ramp to the hotel...on a Sunday at 1545. All the tire places closed at 1600...nothing to be done since we had to be at the hotel, to check into a conference before 1700. Lots to do, no time to do it. We had "run flat" tires so into the parking garage and parked as the tire pressure hit 0%. In Thursday morning we drove the 7 mins to this store. JL Hayden came right out to help, did not have our tire in stock but called around to find them. Ordered and all we had to do was wait 2 hours to get them delivered and installed. Best ever tire buying experience in 70 years! I used TireRack.com (a partner with Discount Tire) to purchase my tires, they shipped to discount (all one fee), then make an appointment with discount to have tires installed (another all inclusive fee, Balancing/valve stem/disposal/installation etc) all that another fee to discount. My Jeep tires for 4 were 677.00 and the install was 107.00 I was in and out in 20 minutes! This was Discount on Maryland, been there for years. Excellent all the way around, no nickel and timing ya. Called Discount Tire to change one tire. They responded immediately and ordered the tire from their warehouse within 1 hour. Took around 30-40 mins for install.
