When I got there he didn't have the size. I wanted to give 1-star but Eric was responsive on the call and maybe this is chalked up to communicate because hi Spanish is stronger than English. I usually buy the parts & bring it to them when I need my front & rear brake pads & rotors replaced or when I need an oil change. They're nice, honest, quick & reliable. Front & rear brake pad & rotor replacement took 25 minutes. I was literally in & out which I appreciate since I hate waiting for hours at auto repair shops. I found it when I moved here in 2017 after being taken advantage of by several auto repair shops here these guys are honest and fair and not over charging for labor or parts. they always tell me to bring my own parts and they'll do the work. Went in for some air in my tire and the mechanic - Mike - while airing my tire up, noticed a rather large construction type of screw in my tire. He suggested that I get it fixed and so I did. Thank you so much for noticing that and not letting me just go and maybe have a blow out on the road. I work for LYFT and cannot afford for a tire to explode while customers are in the vehicle. OK so it took me a minute to see the colors on the building!! So i roll into Vegas and my car starts to sweek like i got Jerry (from Tom and Jerry, dont know who they are ask ya parents) trapped under my wheels. I'm cruising the strip and decide enough is enough! ya know you have a car issue when a low rider with a bunch of home boys blasting something i guess is music out and your issue is louder! so i roll into the payless not even knowing it was just a tire shop cause i thought i'd get some gas, but thats just the style of the place..used to be a 66. So i get in there and explain to the kid the issue, OK this is where i am a bit of a muppet. I know and i am, learning Spanish. After a little bit of time i finally make my point of the issue. he gets his older and faster yet still not really good on English partner. They said something and boom, car was up, wheels off, work done had to wait 15 minutes for the brakes and rotors to come for shop. Our tire ruptured in the vicinity of this most amazing shop. When we inquired about fixing it, we were told that it was unrepairable, looking at the tire it was clearly true as there was a large gash in the side. Mike gave us a quote for both a new and used tire -both very good prices. While they worked on replacing our tire, we walked to the taco stand on the corner. Before our horchata was even ready, they were done replacing our tire. We were happily surprised that the price came out ten dollars lower than the estimate. This is an amazing tire shop. This is the most honest tire shop I've ever been to...ever! Amazing service and low prices. I had a bent rim and I came in asking for them to order a new rim and fit it to a tire that I already purchased at Costco. I got a quote from Purrfect Auto Repair down the street of $550, and not only that, but they told me I'd have to wait until the next day. Not ONLY did Payless give me a used rim they had in storage, they calibrated my tire and fitted it to the rim. I drove away in less than 1 hour. And the bill? A mere $60, $490 less than Purrfect Auto quoted me. I'll be back, and so will all my referrals :). read more

I highly recommend going to the shop to get any kind of tire repair. I found this shop on Yelp and read the great comments so I took the leap. In my case I was dead worried that my tire pressure warning light came ON. I had to drive back to California so I knew I had to take care of this warning light and was hoping that it would be a quick fix. I thought there was something wrong with one of my tires. Oscar and the guys took take care of me and make the repair in just 15 minutes. Turned out it was a screw punctured my tire. I was happy with the quick fix and was out of there in no time. This place is a complete scam, run by Mike M, a smooth talking grifter! A few days ago I purchased 4 used Hankook Kinergy GT 235-35-18 tires for $250.00. They were represented as 3 weeks old. They looked pretty good but when I got home I measured the tread and they have 50-65% tread left (each tire different. A real con job. He didn't even know what a tread depth indicator was. He also says you tightened lug nuts to 37 psi. This guy doesn't even know what ft lbs on a torque wrench is, to torque the wheels. My 2014 Nissan Altima 2.5 S calls for 83 ft lbs torque. I had a big problem loosening the lugs to torque the lugs. He had them tightened to 150-160 lbs (different on each tire) This over tightening can warp rotors and ruin drums as well as ruin threads for lugs and ruin lug nuts. He thinks he knows it all but knows zip! He told me I am old school when fact he is! I am going to the BBB and Consumer affairs. I'm donna sue him as well. Don't go here! They do not do things properly! read more
