The one who served us was very nice and even made a drink recipe I came up with. Unfortunately, their bar is not well stocked so had to make a LOT of adjustments to my recipe. But appreciated his suggestions and effort. Now for the bad stuff. They have a jazz club attached. I figured the whole place would have that ambience but was disappointed that wasn't the case. Generic pop on the patio and inside is very noisy. The preferred dress of patrons appears to be gym shorts and t-shirts. Drinks were a little weak so I switched over to bourbon on the rocks. But the prices are reasonable. Maybe a nice pre show stop if you're going to the Century room.

Drinks were available at the venue bar or the Tap Room adjoining. There was also a big water dispenser available. The staff were nice and seemed happy. I asked for a recommendation for a mocktail at the Tap room, and the bartender said water. My friend ordered a mocktail and she said he was right, she should have ordered water, the drink was not worth $10. It's always fun to go downtown for a concert, there's so much to see and do.

I've attended other events (not packed shows) at 101 Toole before and it has been overall fine, but this was a bit of a nightmare. I understand that it's summer and it's hot - but there was ZERO airflow in the venue on 7/23/26. Not a breeze to be felt. The temp inside and outside was no different (over 100 degrees) and with it being a hardcore show, the temp near the stage raised even higher quick. Not only is this unpleasant, it can be downright dangerous. I will say - the bar service was fast, the restrooms were clean, and the overall flow of the entry process was smooth. But something needs to be done about the summer temps in there!

We found convenient parking in the lot directly across the street, but you can also park on the street if you can find a spot. Appreciated that they had 2 NA beer options at the bar, and all of the staff were friendly. Restrooms were under construction while we were there so there were apparently porta-potties available if needed (we did not visit those). We'd go back next time we're in town if there was someone we wanted to see!

The service is good the chairs are comfortable and they can have some really fun music. The food is great and they have happy hour prices early. This area was amazing back when I was a little kid, it's the missed opportunity that the people of Tucson abandoned. Most of the old hotels and motels are gone and the area has been brought out by gem show people. I'm glad they took care of this place and it's a little bit of old nostalgia of Tucson. Ambiance/Cleanliness- Loved it!! Dimly lit, true lounge with great decor. It's a little like upscale dive bar meets strip club meets The Peppermill Lounge in Las Vegas, but its own vibe. Clean where it needs to be. 4 stars Service-Hanna was the BEST, taking time to listen to food/drink requests and make solid, helpful recommendations. Circled back a couple times to check status. 5 stars Food-Inconsistent. Devils on Horseback bacon wrapped dates were fire, perfect crunch on bacon. Coconut shrimp needed to be butterflied. Mac n Cheese was wonderful, pulled pork on top needed spice. The patty melt patty was inexplicably rubbery. Nutty buddy cheesecake was perfect. 3 stars Will go again. They have AYCE spaghetti on Mondays.

We'd heard good things about this place and have been trying to support local downtown bars this summer, so we stopped in around 11 on a Friday night before heading home. As we sat down, we watched the bartender be pretty dismissive toward another group at the bar, so we were already a little unsure. We started talking about the decor because we liked the eclectic vibe. We jokingly pointed out that one of the pictures had a joint instead of a cigarette because someone in our group hadn't noticed. One of the bartender's first comments back, completely seriously, was, "I'm from San Diego. Have you never seen art before?" Honestly... what? It was such a weird, unnecessarily condescending response. I brushed it off at first as awkward banter, but it was a really strange first impression. The drinks were decent. The Loverlist was really good, and the Unicorn Fluff and Old Fashioned were fine. The bartender was quick to talk up their whiskey selection, but when we asked for a recommendation, she mostly gave reasons why she couldn't recommend anything and just kept saying they had "over 90 different options." Without a whiskey menu to look through, that wasn't especially helpful. We also asked for a shooter and were offered half of a cocktail instead. That would've been totally fine on its own, but combined with everything else, the service just never felt welcoming. We ended up leaving pretty quickly. I'd give the place another shot because the atmosphere is fun and has a lot of potential, but hopefully with a different bartender behind the bar.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day
