Greyhound Horror Story - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE (Zero…read morestars if I could) This was the most disgraceful, inhumane, and unprofessional travel experience I've ever endured -- and I say that without exaggeration. I traveled round trip from California to Texas with my elderly grandmother, who suffers from joint pain and stiffness. What we thought would be an affordable and reliable option turned into a complete nightmare. Let's start with the bus itself: the photos and promises on Greyhound's website are blatant false advertising. The buses are old, uncomfortable, and falling apart. The seats barely recline, legroom is non-existent, and the ride becomes unbearable after just two hours. The WiFi was a joke, the outlets didn't work, and the air conditioning came and went as it pleased. The onboard restroom was disgusting -- more like a portable toilet in a junkyard than anything acceptable for human use. We experienced multiple delays, driver no-shows, and long, unexplained waiting periods at dirty terminals -- all while Greyhound offered zero communication or support. Stops for food were limited to 10-15 minutes at gas stations, where passengers were forced to choose between grabbing a bite or using the restroom. But none of that compares to what happened on the ride back. Our bus began overheating and breaking down in El Paso. The driver told everyone to unload because a replacement bus was on the way. That was a lie. After waiting inside the terminal for over three hours, we were finally informed that the driver had canceled and there would be no replacement bus. Worse -- the station was closing, and we were told we would have to wait outside, overnight, with no shelter, no hotel voucher, no food, no water, and no support. My elderly grandmother and I were left outside, stranded, for nearly 15 hours. Even then, we were told the next morning's bus might not have space for us -- and still, no guarantee of a refund. Greyhound left us homeless, hungry, and unsafe. This company should be ashamed. They have no business operating in the travel industry if this is how they treat people -- especially vulnerable passengers. If you're considering Greyhound: don't. Pay more. Fly. Drive. Walk if you have to. But do not trust this company with your time, your money, or your safety

The driver was nice, he was the same one from my first Megabus experience to San Jose! Anyways, I thought he'd stop at Barstow like the last driver but this was not the case. Not a big deal but good to note for future trips. Bus driver may or may not stop so grab some coffee or snacks ahead of time! This time I noticed there was a sign right as we exited the bus in Vegas that had instructions as to what to do to take the buses to the strip. The bus we took ($6 per person) dropped us off in front of Paris Hotel and we were staying at Flamingo so we had to walk a bit with our luggage. Personally I think I'll try to flag down a cab in the future but my friends didn't seem to mind doing that. On the way back, the driver stopped at Barstow but on the other side so we had an option of eating at Subway or grabbing snacks at the gas station. Good trip both ways except the girl sitting behind us was on the way back was on her phone a lot and talked about personal things we didn't need/want to hear very loudly! Thank god for headphones!! :)

Also, with all the places and spaces we put Mr. C through?? He did it all with a great attitude. You couldn't ask for more. His car was immaculate, has great air conditioning, and was comfortable. He has a microphone in it if you want to give a real tour and communicate. Also, he will let you link your music so you can bump whatever you like. We were unable to book him for another time but were so glad that we were finally able to. Thank you for your service. And I'll be referring more clients!

There were 20 high school seniors and 4 chaperones and we were picked up on time in a clean, beautiful bus, with wonderful service. We spent 10 hours going to different stops in LA and everything was perfect, including an ice chest of ice-cold water! We used them again on our trip to the airport a few days later and same experience. Communication was perfect from inquiry about pricing to contracting and during the trip. I booked with Big C because of the wonderful Yelp reviews and am so glad I did. They will definitely be our go-to charter anytime we are in Southern California. Thanks Clarence!
