I booked a Los Angeles and Beach Tour and didn't even know it was the same company that was taking me back to Vegas! lol The bus pulled up and I was like... wow.. ironic. So only problem I had with this was the operator giving us the wrong time to be at the bus stop. She told us 8:30 but after calling her because it wasn't showing up, she told us it wouldn't pull up until 9:30.. She said sorry a bunch and we just went to grab some food until it was time to go back to the bus stop. Before the tour everyone has to go pay (If you didn't already online) So you go to the bus station where the office is. Sometimes you have to make a transfer to a different bus, depending on tours and such. The driver was the tour guide and was a pretty funny friendly guy. He knew a lot about movies. So what would happen is he would drive us around then drop us off and tell us where to meet the bus. So first drop off was Hollywood Blvd. We were there for about 2 hours then went back onto the bus. Next we went through, Venice, saw the Hollywood sign, Chinatown, and Beverly Hills. Last stop was Santa Monica Beach. We stayed for almost two hours. Long 8 hour day but it was so much fun. I think only one small thing should be considered. I think everyone should be able to give the driver they're cell phone numbers because of anything that could happen while off the bus. Me and my party was a little late walking back just because we had a small child with us that was being a little fussy and when we got back the driver was on the phone with the operator trying to get them to call us. It would of been so much more easier for him to just had our number.

3.5 Stars My manager's boss has asked me to spearhead our department's annual offsite two years in a row now. HA.. This year we went to Santa Barbara. So last year (not my choice), but we booked ANOTHER bus company and didn't have that great of an experience. This year I had 3 different bus companies lined up, contacted each of them and decided to go with Lux Bus America. The one thing I really wanted this year was CUP HOLDERS and they told me that the bus did have cup holders. YES! (I don't want to hold my drink between my feet like last year.) Since this was going to be an overnight stay, they require you to provide the room for the bus driver, however you do not have to provide the food. All parking fees are also your responsibility. The balance is due 14 days prior to departure. Compared to the other bus company I worked with last year, Ryan from Lux Bus was VERY responsive. As soon as I sent him an email, he replied either instantly or within the hour. I sent them our itinerary, schedule (with arrival and departure times for each stop) and maps a week in advance. Ryan provided me with the bus driver's name and cell phone number the day before. The bus was supposed to arrive at 8AM (for departure at 8:30AM), but came at 7:20AM. Great, I like early people! The bus is nice and so is the interior and (faux) wood floors?! Anyway, our bus driver informed me that she got my schedule and maps 3 days in advance and reviewed it with her husband who is also a bus driver. (Last year, our bus driver didn't review it at all.) To my horror, this bus didn't have cup holders.. only the front seats did. The driver did inform me that they did have other buses with cup holders for each seat, but we'd needed to request it... BLAH, but I thought I did! Overall, I really liked the bus ride. However, the bus driver seemed to tailgate the car in front of us a few times and almost hit another car (the alarm sound went off once). The other thing I have to point out is that with L.A. traffic coming back.. there is a lot of "stop and go" and a few people got motion sick from that since the bus tends to sway.... 48 Seat Passenger Bus $2,520 (plus Driver's Gratuity) 193/100 Reviews for 2014

AWESOME! This is NOT the company that stranded people in Vegas with a Groupon. Ok - I was hesitant at first - but once I got on I was ecstatic! Nice & clean, drinks served by the LuxBus version of a flight attendant. Tray tables sit perfectly to work on the laptop (some buses even have power outlets for regular plugs), the Wi-Fi worked great for me! I'M ON THE BUS RIGHT NOW! I've been able to get work done, bus is 3/4 full so I can stretch out, enjoy the view and take calls. This is WAY better than driving. Skyfall is on the TV and another movie is coming up. I'm very pleased and grateful!

We needed a last min solution to get to Vegas and found this company that offers a $99 round trip. We were a little worried as did not have a confirmed reservation as online reservation not accepted day before. Showed up at desk at Garden Walk at 8 am and secured last of 3 seats over Memorial Day weekend. Best to arrive early to stand in line for boarding pass & best seats. Bus seats about 30 and has a bathroom. Drinks served are coke, diet coke, 7 up, water and orange juice. Snacks are cheese/crackers. They showed two movies and provided headsets although I would suggest bringing one's own. There are two staff, a bus driver and the attendant. One stop at Barstow Station that has Panda Express, Quiznos, etc. Drop off is at Flamingo, Harrah, and downtown. Unfortunately on our return which was supposed to leave Vegas at 3:30 left at 6 pm since the bus broke before we left Vegas so had a 2 hour delay. The breakdown certainly was unforseen and they attended to it with first a try at having a mechanic fix it but inevitable we got a replacement bus. Since they had only one trip a day on time performance is never guaranteed. I think this is an okay option if one doesn't want to drive and airfares are too high.

The view from where im seated at. The movie, Pixels is playing right now. On the way to Vegas!!

Ive rode the LuxBus many times and im still satisfied with their service. Its always the same "Russian" stewardess that ive seen. She is absolutely hilarious and informative. 2 drinks and one snack is provided. Also if you are not trying to ktfo on the bus there are 2 movies that will be shown on the bus so you are not completely bored out of your mind. Need to charge your phone? No problem! Theres 2 outlets below in the middle of both leather seats. Bathroom? Theres one at the end on the left hand side. Theres plenty of room for you to feel comfortable riding this bus ( Leg room ) Btw if you are riding this bus to my home Vegas, there is one stop at Barstow station. If you want more than a snack thats provided.. At barstow station you will find a Panda express, subway, Popeyes, Mcdonalds. With that said, safe travels!!

My sister recently used Executive Line Bus, which advertises transportation from Baldwin Park to the TJ airport area. I dropped her off in Baldwin Park and everything seemed normal at that point, but what happened on the return trip from Tijuana is something that, in my opinion, needs to be investigated. According to the schedule, my sister was supposed to be picked up in TJ at 8:00 in the morning. She arrived at the pickup location on time and waited. And waited. And waited. The problem was not just the delay. The problem was the complete lack of communication. No updates, no clear explanation, no sense of urgency for someone who was essentially waiting to get into a stranger's vehicle in another country. That feeling alone is incredibly stressful and honestly unsafe. When you are relying on transportation like this, especially crossing borders, timing and communication are everything. Instead of leaving at 8:00 AM as planned, my sister did not actually leave until around 11:00 AM. That is a three hour delay with no proper coordination. Imagine if she had a flight to catch. That would have turned into a complete disaster. What made the situation even worse was the response from the company representative, Yessenia. Instead of acknowledging the frustration or taking responsibility for the situation, my sister was told she had to pay another $10 just to get on the later 11:00 ride back to Los Angeles. At that point it wasn't even about the money. It was the principle. When a company causes a delay and a customer is stranded waiting, the last thing that should happen is charging them extra just to get home. The entire experience felt careless and honestly alarming. When people are traveling between cities and countries, reliability and safety should be the priority, not squeezing a few more dollars out of someone who is already stuck. This situation left us feeling uneasy and unsafe, and I truly believe this service needs better accountability and communication before more people end up in the same situation.

If you're in need of a cost-effective way to get to Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, Stockton,…read moreor San Jose on short notice, this is the service for you! It even goes to San Diego! At $60 a trip, it is affordability at it's finest, but beware, the caveat can be intolerable for some. Since this is a Vietnamese business, you can expect most of your fellow passengers (and employees) to be of the same descent. As a Vietnamese-American myself, I admit that asian people, especially those of the older generation, exhibit tendencies that I find extremely unbearable. You can be sure that all of these and more will be amplified throughout your trip. My #1 pet peeve? Inconsideration for others. These older folks will speak loudly, sneeze/cough every which way, and invade your personal space. In addition to those negatives, the employees for this service aren't too friendly and speak little English. They also try to do things quickly which can compromise the quality of their work. The driver texts and makes phone calls as they weave in/out of traffic too...this was frightening at first, but then I came to admire how they do this with ease. Aside from all that, $60 will get you a ticket to one of the destinations above, along with a tasty baguette sandwich and a bottle of water. Reservations can be made by phone, but aren't necessary to ride. So come early to ensure a seat. Everyday, at 9AM, a big bus will arrive at the ABC Supermarket parking lot. At 9:30-9:45AM it will depart. This bus will make four stops until you arrive to your desired location which will take about 7-8 hours depending on the quickness of your driver. First stop is in El Monte to pick up more passengers, Tracy (a random city along the 5 fwy where you will transfer busses), Stockton, then Sacramento. Those who go to San Jose, Oakland, and San Fransisco will either stay or transfer to a different bus at Tracy. As for the bus, it's gigantic, has TV's, and surprisingly clean. Not the same can be said for the restroom on the bus, however, as it's filthy and resembles a coachella port-a-potty. They rarely make any rest stops--take necessary precautions so you won't need to use it. ---- Conclusion: In life, you get what you pay for. At such a cheap price for a one-way ticket to NorCal, you can't expect to ride without some annoyances. If in a bind and unwilling to pay the hefty plane ticket prices, this is a service I will use again. Extra Notes: -CASH ONLY -One person is permitted to bring one carry-on and one check in bag. -Website is http://lowfarebus.com -You pay $40 when you get to El Monte. Then $20 later when you transfer busses. If they ask for $60 upfront, it likely means you won't be transferring busses at all. -An additional $60 to get back to OC from those destinations. Look online for the schedule. -This service may seem unorganized, but there is a method to their madness. -TV's at every seat--featuring Paris by Night on repeat -No Outlets. No WIFI -Clean busses, filthy restrooms

It turned what could have been a logistical headache into a super fun and easy way to get around and see all the homes as a group. The bus showed up well before we needed it, which meant nobody felt rushed and we could get organized at our own pace. Our driver, Bill, was absolutely the best. We had a pretty rowdy crew, and he handled it like a pro while also being part of the fun. Every time we stopped at a property he would drop us right at the front, loop around, find the perfect parking spot, and when we came back out he was always right there waiting for us. It made the whole experience seamless. The bus itself was spotless and really high-end. The music was great, the AC was blasting, and even on a hot day with a full bus, it stayed comfortable the entire time. Originally we had the bus booked until 4 pm, but our group ended up going until 6. Bill never once complained. He kept the energy up, had a big smile the entire time, and truly felt like part of the group. The little things matter, and this company nailed them.
