    Pork and Chicken Tacos

El Coyote Tacos is an experience. Nestled in downtown Vancouver, WA, it's newer to the neighborhood. The restaurant is located next to a local brewery in a very small location with an ajoining courtyard. The courtyard holds the majority of their seating. The bar is limited. "Full bar" is a stretch, but they have a few options outside of beer and a marg. I'm not a fan of margaritas, they were able to scrounge up something for me. Their food is good. Let's start there. Flavor, they're solid. However, their tacos are the absolute greasiest taco I've ever eaten in my life. We all had to ask for extra napkins, twice. Price is fine, their tacos are large. I'm all about supporting local - give El Coyote a try and let's hear your thoughts? Looking forward to seeing them succeed long-term.

Had a really enjoyable experience having dinner with my friend here. The great thing about Latin food is that there is always going to be a gluten-free/dairy-free option for my friend! The tacos themselves were much larger than I expected especially for the really reasonable prices. I would say the taste was pretty on-par with what I could expect from Mexican food in Washington state (sorry everyone, I'm ruined for life growing up so close to the California-Mexico border). I cannot tell you the last time I paid $50 for 3 people to eat before. Although Slow Fox Chili will be missed, I believe these folks found the right venue for their style of food and seriously cannot wait for summer weather to enjoy a margarita (or two) with some wonderful live music on the patio.

El Coyote is a solid Mexican restaurant with fun outdoor seating. There appears to only be outdoor seating available currently, however a lot of it is covered and overall it's a big open space. Our server was patient and very friendly. I got the veggie tacos, which were full of a great variety of well seasoned veggies. Additionally, I got a side of beans and rice. The beans were pretty standard and the rice was nothing like Mexican rice. It was a short grain white rice with mixed veggies and not much in terms of flavor unfortunately. The green salsa was able to add a nice kick to everything.

Great place for kids Asada taco wasn't my favorite but the pastor was tasty. Service was awesome Margarita was delicious Prices are super reasonable Outdoor safe space for kids to run around which is awesome.

Needed dinner after the Christmas tree lighting and decided to try a new place, was intrigued by tacos and tequila. You order with a marker and laminated sheet, there's indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating was really cute! Was very impressed! We got the mango margarita and coyote margarita, both very very delicious!!! All margaritas are reposado according to our server. Food we ordered was chips and guac beans and veggie rice fish tacos and burrito. The chips were delicious, they're not store bought they're thick and crunchy, yum!! The fish tacos were loaded up with all the crunchy ingredients I look for in a fish taco, I added sour cream too. The menu has add one available for pretty much anything which is totally great! All in all I was very happy with the food and our total was $67 before tip. Which is a good value in my opinion!

Lunch. The guacamole was good but needed more spice

I got a rice bowl. The food was fresh and flavorful but portion size was a bit small. Outdoor seating on covered picnic benches along a quiet street. Food is ordered inside and quickly delivered. Overall a good experience

We stopped in for a quick bite. We had 2 mushroom tacos and a shrimp taco. The young one got a bean and cheese burrito. We also got chips, salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was delicious, as were the tacos. The kids burrito was huge. The Diet Coke was flat. The setting and service were 10/10.

This a a solid taco joint with lovely service and a relaxing vibe. We joined them for lunch on the outdoor patio on a beautiful day. The fish taco Ensenada style and the cochinito were my favorites. The caliente margarita was good and not too spicy for those who worry about spice.

Fish tacos and coyote margarita! 10 stars

Go. Just GO. Best tacos and margaritas in Vancouver! Service was phenomenal. Chips and salsa was fantastic. We had the coyote margaritas with house made blood orange mix and OMG. I had the fish tacos, fresh rock fish with huge pieces fried perfectly in beer batter on blue corn tortilla, great sauce. It was perfect. BF had the carne asada tacos and loved it just as much! Cute inside seating with bar and TONS of outside seating which a good portion is covered and insulated. Has a huge courtyard also. Would be fantastic for live music! Take all your friends here. We are going here every time we want tacos, which is A LOT. We've had every taco in the county and this place is TOP NOTCH

Pork, steak, and chicken tacos. Go with the pork or the chicken.

Excellent food; we ordered every taco filling choice and our favorites were the pork and the red chunky chicken (?) not sure what type of seasoning. The pinto beans tasted extremely fresh. I would return for a quick casual lunch and the cadillac spicy margarita!

El Coyote popped into the old Slow Fox location, who I was sad to see slow fox go but glad the space brought in another business so quickly, because it is a cool spot. I came in for lunch on a nice day, the courtyard is perfect for outdoor eating, but there is additional space indoors. I was greeted right away and told to sit anywhere and brought a menu, which was nice. They were very friendly and welcoming. The menu is white board style which is a cool idea. I ordered and chips and salsa, I adobo pork taco and a fish taco. The chips were thick and crunchy, with big flaky sea salt. They tasted homemade and were really delicious. The. The tacos came, the pork taco was a little light in the fillings for $4 and while the fish tacos had great flavor and came on a nice blue corn tortilla it was not worth $7. I think the food is high quality but the price is still not quite justified. Little Conejo and El Viejon has an excellent fish taco for a dollar or two less and slightly higher quality. Overall, I would come again for the atmosphere and the food is good, but the price is a bit high so it won't be a regular spot. I think if I came back I would get the chips with the gauc, because the chips were the best thing.
