The two beers served (Prison Pals) were warm. When asked, the server casually admitted they had "just brought them in." When we asked, the server admitted she forgot -- and still never brought them. Quick note: the place was empty. Never a good sign . * Staff knowledge: I noticed an FIU sign (I'm an FIU alum) and asked if the owner was an alum. I wish I could give a better review. So I went in and ordered four hamburgers averaging $18 each + loaded fries @ $10 x 2. Incredibly enough, they limited my $3.75 x 4 fountain refills of Coke to 2 times. at the end of the meal, one of my party could not finish the burger and asked for a little to go Box. They advised they would charge one dollar ($1) for a plastic to go box. Now this is the rub that makes someone never want to go back to a restaurant for Nickle and diming over a five cent (.05) fountain refill and a twenty cent (.20) box. My table had a view of the kitchen window and also incredibly enough the cook had to ring the bell two separate times and I watched my burgers get cold over about a 7 minute span. The owner was standing right there as well as our server and pretty much ignored them for other things until they felt like getting them. I understand a reasonable wait to finish what they are doing, but they literally ignored it. First rule of kitchen expediting is to get the hot food out to the table for the customer. I have no idea how this restaurant thinks they are going to make it with Burger and Shake four doors down teeming with customer service. I know this burger was Argentinian style, but I don't understand they did not ask how we wanted to cook it so they basically brought out a well-done burger that was chopped up. I'm not sure if they do that to tenderize the meat or if that's just how they prepare them. The food was decent enough, but the sourpuss owner was enough to make me never want to come back and never recommended. The server was a nice guy and I kind of felt sorry he had to work there. He was very courteous and advised timely that an additional tip was on my credit card screen, and that he had already been tipped on the bill. I hope the owner is reading this. Limiting someone to two fountain refills is ridiculous. This is the highest margin item you have there at $3.75 for a .05 soda that you already getting a 1000% markup on, and you don't use paper cups, so you were reusing your glasses. Charging a customer for it to go box is also a big no-no. If someone likes your food, good enough to take it home give them a box and not put a knife in them on the way out. I understand things cost money, but this was a total of $.25 and now you lost a customer and a good review. Good luck I'll be going down the street for my next hamburger. read more

Our new spot for the most delicious hamburger!! We've lived in the area for almost 4 years and have tried lots of places around the Collins & 73-76 area. We used to go to Burgers and Shakes but decided to give this place a try and we absolutely love it! The service is so friendly, the beef patties are so tasty, the varieties are great. We usually get La Perla Negra for us adults and the little kids get the 3 mini-hamburger plate which is the perfect size for each. The inside seating area is a huge plus here in Miami where you crave a nice and cool spot when you're coming in from the heat. Well priced, and family friendly with Jenga and also crayons+printable for kids to color and keep them busy! read more

Tried this place on a whim and ordered the bajoncito and Argentinian fries. There was no one in the place but the waiters were attentive. The burger was served as is with no veggies (lettuce tomato onion pickle) and no condiments. These were provided on request but each veggie is 50 cents so $2 for the additions. The burger was good but quite small and surprised standard toppings are 2 extra. The Argentinian fries were sub par for 13$. None of my requests were followed and one sandwich was inedible it didn't have half the ingredients on it that were supposed to be there and as stated above the one I had ordered double of wasn't even on it at all! The order of onion rings had six in it with three burnt and none bigger than a half dollar! Nothing was as pictured on the site!
