The gentleman taking my order was knowledgeable and offered great recommendations. I sat at the bar and my cheesesteak was done in about 5-7 minutes. I didn't expect to eat it all, but I did. The price wasn't bad for a cheesesteak in South Beach. About $13.50. I desired a little more meat, but its taste was close to Philly. It's a good replacement to hold me over until I get back to Philly. A fresh deli roll would have taken it up a notch. It is pretty small inside, so I can imagine taking my food to-go on a busy day. Stopped into this South Beach staple remembering days of past having an amazing cheeseburger from here. Granted it may have been 3 am on the south beach clubbing days. It's been like 20 years. I have them a shot even though 5 guys was across the street. I rather help local businesses. My two cents, you got to make some tweaks. My friend's Philly cheesesteak was sooo greasy. I mean unnecessarily greasy. The bun the paper it was wrapped in completely doused in grease. And as for my cheeseburger I was disappointed that the meat lacked flavor. I ended up putting garlic powder and tossing it into the air fryer at home. It was also undercooked when I asked for well done. I don't know if I'll return. Believe the bad reviews and don't even waste your time coming here. This place literally asks you to give them a good review before you pay, for 5% off. It's sad that they try to bribe you for 5 stars. First of all the lady said 15-20 minutes for less "if that", but it took 30+ minutes for a turkey burger and fries and it wasn't even really crowded when I went. The fries were good, but the burger was so dry that I couldn't even eat it. I had my friend taste it and she literally spit it out ! There was no sauce on the burger, not even mayonnaise ! On top of that, you have to pay additional for toppings ($1) like grilled onions. I spent $20 total and that's without a drink. Like I said, save yourself the bad trip. We had the BEST time with Gloria and Jay! We sat at the bar and watched them make our food and my kids loved it. My 7 year old gave them 2000 stars and my 10 year old said the service was fantastic! I can't recommend this business, sorry. We showed up at straight up noon, the opening time for the day we arrived. There were 3 people ahead of us. We should have realized immediately that this would be an issue as it took at least 10 minutes for the 3 of them to order, even with the assistance of an employee. 10 minutes is being very generous too, I really feel it was more like 15. We finally got our chance to order, we took less than 3 minutes to order btw, but our bill for two cheeseburgers, 1 order of fries, and two drinks, was over $40.00. A bottled water, one of our drinks, was $3.50, no tap water was available. The cheeseburgers took a good time to prepare, but we were willing to wait in anticipation. We were greatly disappointed. The burgers were just okay. The fries were good, but I wasn't there for the fries. We were looking to be awed and blown away by the burgers, considering the price and other reviews. Apparently many people have no concept of a great burger. For a place to dare call themselves 'Cheeseburger Baby' they better have dang good burgers. Came back to Miami this past weekend & gave them a try again. Again, it was empty & I was the only one inside. So I walked up to the kiosk and started to place my order like I was told the last time. & since no one walked over to say anything to me, the whole time I put my entire order in. Eventually a woman came over and told me that kiosk is only for late night and I have to give her my order. I informed the woman I wanted cheese fries but wanted the cheese HOT since it was cold. I was a little skeptical when I saw them pull out frozen Patties, even with Anthony Bourdain's name on the wall. My suspicions served me correct as the "smash burger" was just an overcooked, dry burger that lacked flavor. Without the toppings I don't think I would have finished it. The food is fine. The cheeseburger was juicy and hot (though the chain burger joint across the street might be slightly better but smaller). Fries were very good (kind of remind me of another chain's fries before they started changing them around) and were a much larger portion than I was expecting. The staff was helpful and our order was 100 percent correct. While they said it could be a half-hour wait, it was not that long and we were able to sit at tables outside to wait and to eat. It is overpriced, but so is everything in Miami these days. I am giving my rating though about the overall experience. I was so excited to eat here because I read this on the website about the owner: "She, an openly gay female entrepreneur, transformed it from a South Beach dive to a must for celebrities and tourists alike. As a female owned business, she also makes it a priority to be an equal opportunity workplace with a focus of empowering women in the community of all backgrounds." I love supporting local and especially women-owned businesses so I thought this would be a great place to visit. When I arrived, I was welcomed with a poster that reads "Sadly, due to government handouts, nobody wants to work anymore ..." While the sign goes on to say to please respect the staff that is working, I found that extremely off-putting to read while waiting to order since there are a number of complicated factors as to why people - especially women - have not returned to the workforce during the pandemic (e.g., they died, the grandparents giving care to their children died, long-COVID disablement, the unpredictability of school closings or child COVID exposure so a parent has to stay home more, and so on). Come to find out as we are eating, the owner had no problem taking a government handout in the form of a PPP loan during the start of the pandemic. I don't begrudge her a second for that, but the hypocrisy stings a bit and certainly tainted my experience. I am still glad I supported a small business and its hard workers, but this likely will be the only time I eat here. read more

If you're drunk at 3am and need a big greasy burger in foil then this is your spot! The fries were well seasoned, especially with the chili cheese. The burgers weren't impressive, just a big chunk of beef and buns to keep you from throwing up all the drinks you had at the club a couple hours before. Even if you pay ahead of time they won't give you your soda/milkshakes unless you get the food with it... I'm not sure why. First and last time I'll ever come here. read more
