Honestly, I'm not sure why El Diablo Mexican Cuisine isn't more popular! The food was absolutely amazing--authentic, flavorful, and the portions were great for the price. Everything was delicious, and you definitely get your money's worth. If you're craving good Mexican food, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Food and service was great! Delicious! Wish I had more pistachio spread on my pancakes. Its just me. Otherwise, it was still great!

My friends and I came in on a Wednesday morning around 10am- was not busy. We were greeted by a friendly staff, who was sooo helpful with ordering as we never came here before. She was helpful and giving us recommendations. The place itself is nicely decorated and clean. It was not busy when we got there, but when we left, the seating area was filling up. A nice detail is that they have coat hanger/purse hanger at each table. The food! I'm a chilaquiles fan and these were delicious! Chips were not soggy but crunchy and not shy on the sauce- I am a sauce girl so this made my tummy happy. The bottled juices were different, but actually liked it! The horchata drink was not too sweet and nice that i was able to take it with me when I couldn't finish. My friend thought the burrito was good. The coffee, was delicious- did not need any added sugar or milk as it is brewed a special way. Will come back again

On point. Delicious and yes it was spicy. Everyone was so nice and I can't wait to come back.

Chilaquiles Divorciado, Half green half poblano

Got the chilaquiles divorciados with chile verde and poblano and let me tell you BOMB! 100/10 The refried beans were so good. The cafe de olla here is a must. The service and ambiance here was really good. I felt like I was at home. If you're ever in town or nearby and craving some good mexican food this is the spot!

    Mazapán Pancakes

Ordered the Chilaquiles Divorciados, Mazapán Pancakes, Burrito Norteño with Bistec, and Cafe de Olla. Was pleasantly surprised at how delicious they make their food -- everything was seasoned incredibly well. I know a lot of people enjoy KiKeys down the road, but I think this spot is beyond better in terms of quality and flavor. Service was also great, and the interior is very welcoming. This might be my fave spot for Mexican breakfast. I hope they do an assortment of Pan Dulce in the future!

10/10 experience. The asada is perfectly tender and full of flavor, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the space is both trendy and beautifully designed. Such a great spot all around!!

10/10 highly recommend! Absolutely delicious breakfast! The food was packed with flavor and made fresh, yet came out surprisingly fast, even with how busy it was. You can tell they care about quality and efficiency. The gentleman at the counter was incredibly kind and even asked for feedback, which speaks volumes about their commitment to great service. Highly recommend stopping by--you won't be disappointed!

Returned my order which was cold. When returned they forgot the egg and the carne asada which I paid extra for.

Instead of enjoying the game, we ended up leaving early because of how we were treated. My wife uses a wheelchair and relies on a trained service dog. From the moment we walked in, the owner, Hilda Ramos, was hostile and made it clear that our service dog was not welcome. We explained that the dog is a trained service animal, but she repeatedly came back to our table to question us, making us feel uncomfortable throughout our visit. By the end of our visit, she told us that our service dog would not be allowed back. The dog was calm, well-behaved, and under control the entire time. We had reserved our table in advance to enjoy the game, but because of the owner's behavior, we didn't even get to finish watching it. We didn't even finish our food or our drinks, yet we still paid our entire bill and left because we no longer felt welcome. As a fellow Mexican, and my african wife, it was especially disappointing to be treated this way. I left feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. No customer should be made to feel like they don't belong, especially when they're simply trying to enjoy a meal and are accompanied by a legitimate service animal. I hope the owner takes the time to understand the rights of customers who rely on service animals and treats every guest with dignity and respect. Based on our experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant. The owner is racist and I will make sure ADA knows about her

It's something that is pretty rare to find with all of the Mexican restaurants I have been to El Catrin is the only one where it has been found. We had it on the side with rice, lettuce and tomato. The flavor for it is mushroom like with a sweet, savory, woody and smoky flavor that is corn like. It was very unique and delicious! In addition to that we got some totally awesome nachos which out of this world! We made a second trip back here and I got their Chile Relleno which totally blew me away! It was fabulous! The tortillas that came with it were simply marvelous! Steve got an excellent quesadilla! The wait may be a tad long but it's so worth waiting for. I really can't praise the food enough! We are located in Tacoma and El Catrin is in an unincorporated Seattle neighborhood and so the drive is at least half an hour on a good day but we wouldn't hesitate in making a trip up here just for this restaurant! I can't say that for many restaurants but I certainly would with El Catrin. Fresh, flavorful and a sheer delight we will be coming here with any opportunity we can seize!
