The food was amazing. Service was excellent. The guacamole was the best I've had and I eat at allot for f different places. The owner came out and spoke with us. The place has allot of room. Atmosphere was calm and inviting.

Service was impeccable. The waiter answered all of my questions and knew the menu well. I tried the enchiladas potosinas for something a little different. They were delicious. Not your normal "enchiladas" everyone is accustomed to. These had an orange soft corn tortilla with wonderful chorizo and potatoes and then topped with queso fresco, lettuce, avocado and sour cream. Lord have mercy, so original and flavorful. The beans and rice were some of the best I've had. This is a new place in Bellmead. Go show them some love.

Enchiladas (daily special). This is 1/2, as he was kind enough to split it for us! A lot of food.

The food was fresh and hot. The service was really good. I haven't had the chance to eat inside.

The server was new but did a good job. This was out done by the tremendous, authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended!

The ladies are very nice and always get the food out quickly. The breakfast tacos are great, and I do think the fajita tacos and quesadilla are pretty delicious as well. The waitress was sweet, but remained slow throughout the entire meal. Our waitress never offered drink refills, and we waited extended periods for a to-go box and our check before finally going to the cashier ourselves. The biggest issue was a strong sewage-like odor coming from the restroom area. We were seated nearby, and every time the bathroom doors opened, the smell drifted into the dining room. Even the handwashing station in the dining area had the same unpleasant odor. The food looked great when it arrived, and the chips and salsa seemed fresh. However, I was disappointed to learn they no longer serve guacamole with their fajitas. The chicken fajitas arrived sizzling hot, but became very dry as they cooled. They were spicy, but lacked much flavor. The rice and beans were good. Overall, between the slow service, unpleasant smell, and mediocre food, I would not return or recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in Waco that I'd try before coming back here.

The gentleman who runs it and is the Chef makes everything from scratch. I knew it was gonna be…read moregood when I got the Agua Fresca, with mango, it was so fresh and amazing. Also, I got the yucca chips which came with three different sauces. That were just a perfect compliment. Then I had the beef empanada that came with a spiced cheese sauce, refried beans and some amazing rice. Normally when I get stuff like that, I'll just skip the rice and beans... But these were amazing. The rice cooked perfectly it wasn't overcooked or mushy. And the refried beans was smooth yet tasty. Not bland. The empanadas were handmade tortillas that were created and the deep-fried and came on a bed of shredded cabbage, which kept it from getting mushy on the bottom and allowed for the empanada to cool without becoming soggy. And the sauce is the cheese pickled onions on top were just an amazing combination. And then I had gotten the tacos and I thought it was like one taco each, but each taco was like huge. I got a chicken mole taco, and I got al paster pork taco, and finally I got a shrimp taco. Thinking they would be small, but they came on lettuce and we're all amazing and fresh. He asked me if I thought I was gonna eat all this by myself and I was laughing and think one empanada ...no, it came with three. And the tacos came with came with an amazing fresh piece of watermelon seasoned with spices. It was an amazing feast. He is such a gifted Chef. The seating is in the union so it's like a big hub where you can try different kinds of restaurants. And I walked around for a while before I pick this one, but his food just looks so fresh and tasty and it was. I am so glad I picked him. Definitely gonna have to come back and try the rest of his food and I suggest that you give him a try to cause this place is amazing and needs to be experienced. And don't miss dessert... The churros and ice cream are amazing

Fun place - and sour cream chicken enchiladas are to die for!!…read more Decor : Absolutely a nice and clean TexMex environment. Charming spaces and tables are not too close together. Music is softly playing in the background. The bar is large with three TVs. Very warm and inviting. Score: 10 out of 10 Chips: Chips are medium thickness, unsalted, very nice. Score: 7.5 out of 10 Salsa: Salsa has a beautiful traditional tomato based flavor medium on the spicing and low heat - flavorful. Score: 9 out of 10 Chicken Quesadilla w/ onions & peppers: Skip this one. The chicken is absolutely bone dry, tough, and overcooked. The peppers and onions are beautifully sautéed al dente and the cheese veg and meat ratios are proportional. Score: 2 out of 10 Guacamole: Very nice, but had bit of saltiness to the point I could not enjoy it. (Note: I also don't use much salt myself, so the average person may not even notice it.) Score: 2 out of 10 Beef Enchilada with chili con Carne sauce: Good portion. Meat is moist, not greasy, but also not seasoned very much. The chili carne sauce was nice but had a bit of sweetness (possibly sugar added). Was enjoyable, but not outstanding. Score: 7 out of 10 Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada: Amazing! Outstanding! Absolutely get some! The chicken is extremely moist, absolutely perfect seasoning with just a gentle hint of heat. The sauce has a beautiful tang from the sour cream and the correct consistency. Good portion. Can't wait to come back and have them again. Score: 10 out of 10 Server (CiCi) Absolutely wonderful. Very attentive refresh my drink without me asking for it and very courteous. Score: 10 out of 10 Overall Score: 7.5 But for the guacamole and quesadilla issues, score would be 9 out of 10. DEFINITELY go for the Sour Cream Enchiladas!!!! I'll be back for those!
