We have a great time every time we go to this beach, so family friendly. Clean and not crowded at all. We love the pool and the night we went they had live music. We then woke up to the sunrise over the ocean, the best place to stay.

Its in a quiet area right on Mexico beach. The room is outdated but clean and has a window with a great view.

A Mixed Experience at The Pearl Rooftop Bar…read more We recently visited the Rooftop Bar at The Pearl in Rosemary Beach, and unfortunately, our experience was a real mix of wonderful service and some disappointing lapses in customer service. First, the bright spot was our server, Lauren. She was friendly, attentive, and made excellent drink and food suggestions. She was a pleasure to have as our server and truly represented the level of hospitality you would expect from a Forbes-recognized hotel. The grouper sandwich with fries was wonderful -- I would give the sandwich an 8/10. However, what happened when we ordered it was frustrating. Lauren asked if we would like the sandwich cut in half, and since my husband and I were splitting it, we said that would be great. We were then told that Executive Chef Jordan had instructed the kitchen staff that under no circumstances were they to cut a sandwich in half for a customer. Seriously? For a property known for outstanding service, this was a head-scratcher. We weren't asking for anything complicated or unreasonable -- simply to have a sandwich cut in half and placed on two plates. This is exactly the kind of small gesture that should be part of great hospitality. Instead, the kitchen turned a simple request into an unnecessary customer-service issue. I would give this aspect of the experience a 2/10. There was another issue that seems like an easy fix. My husband asked about the Virtuous Veggie sandwich, which was still listed on the menu. Lauren told us that it had been taken off the menu, along with the Mojo Boiled Peanuts, quite some time ago. Again, for a Forbes-recognized hotel, why are customers still being handed a laminated menu with items that are no longer available? Updating the menu seems like a pretty basic operational detail. Finally, there was the HUGE fan on the deck. We completely understand the need for air movement on a hot day, but this fan was so loud that it sounded like a jet engine taking off. There are much better alternatives. Misters and quieter, effective fans -- like the systems used at places such as Tommy Bahama Restaurants -- can keep guests comfortable without overwhelming the entire dining experience. So, our overall experience was definitely a mixed bag: Grouper sandwich: 8/10 ‍ Kitchen/chef customer service: 2/10 Lauren and our table service: 9/10 Lauren deserves a lot of credit for making our visit enjoyable despite the other issues. She was fantastic. The Pearl has a beautiful setting and the potential to deliver the exceptional experience its reputation promises. But the little things matter -- especially at a luxury property. A chef refusing to allow a sandwich to be cut in half for two guests who are sharing it is simply not the kind of hospitality I would expect from a Forbes-recognized hotel. Hopefully, management will take these comments as an opportunity to look at the guest experience from the customer's perspective. Sometimes the smallest accommodations make the biggest difference.

Best Family Vacation in a Long Time!…read more Began searching in January 2019 for a beach house at Cape San Blas. When we stumbled on Two Palms Villa located On The Beach, I knew this was it! Stayed in touch with the owners, Peter & Lydia Burns. (Burns Management) Once the clean up & construction on this hidden gem was complete, they posted pictures. All new decks, walkway to beach w/bench, additional bedroom,Smart TV w/Sirius XM, large kitchen w/large sink, all the amenities you could ask for & more... recommend checking this out before booking. Was like our own private beach, our Grandkids & Grandtoddlers and Waylon our Lab loved playing and running in the White Sand. Candy greeted our first arrivals, we had a packed house! Both Candy and the owners were available to answer any questions, Peter & Lydia took care of our only issue... the trash pick up in a matter of 1 hour. By far this was the best family vacation in a long time. Our 3 Son's, their family and Nana along with Waylon will have ever lasting memories of our stay at Two Palms Villa. Lot's of family time, fire on the beach w/smores. Of course we enjoyed the Hot Tub. Cannot wait until next year. Blessed to have all together for a short week. Many thanks to Lydia & Peter Burns and Candy and Kit!!! Date of arrival - June 8, 2019

With adult children and young grandchildren, it suits our needs to a T... large bedrooms with King beds and a bunk room for the kids. Space for everyone to spread out no matter what you want to do. There is a beautiful pool, grills and a place under the house to clean fish if you love to fish. And it is a very short walk to the beach to enjoy the sun and the sand. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, pots and pans, coffee maker, dishes, grilling utensils....you name it and you will find it. Marvelous decks surround the house if you want to read or enjoy your morning coffee outside this house is for you. There are doors from each bedroom to a deck area, so you don't have to disturb the whole house to sit outside. 3 Palms is close to seafood markets and also close to the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar where you can enjoy shrimp, oysters and cold beer in a very laid back atmosphere. We also feel like the owners Peter and Lydia and also Donna are now part of our family . They call and check on you send emails with attachments of things to do or see, and Donna (the concierge) is a phone call away to help with anything from babysitters to making sure you are comfortable during your stay. The only thing I hate about 3 Palms is that we have to leave at the end of our vacation!!!! See you next year!!!!!!!

I was torn in writing this review but wanted to represent my experience fairly…read more Pros: The location is spectacular and right on the beach. There is a grocery store right across the street. The deck off our room was great for morning coffee and evening ice cream. The owner who manages the motel is friendly and very helpful. Cons: the kitchenette is very, very basic. The reason we booked here over the El Govenor was for the kitchenette and we were very disappointed in the lack of utensils and dishes. The cupboards and drawers were dirty inside. The coffee maker needs to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. The air conditioner is also very loud. We turned it off at night, slept without blankets and listened to the waves. Cleanliness. I had no doubt the bedding was clean but the floors were very dirty upon arrival. I remove my shoes when walking in a door and When I took off my motorcycle boots and socks to walk around and unpack, my feet were sandy and dirty within minutes. There are no brooms or floor cleaning items provided and the room isn't serviced at all during the stay. It's a good thing I brought extra soap because we needed it. There are also no beach towels provided. We had to buy those across the street. To be fair, I think many families and couples coming to Mexico Beach arrive in fully packed cars, not on a motorcycle or flying in from elsewhere. The other guests appeared to be those well prepared families. That said, at $130 USD a night, I expected a cleaner room and more conveniences like dishes, daily room cleaning (especially floors given the sand factor!) and beach towels.

If you pick up some fresh seafood at Shell Shack, and some charcoal at Gulf Foods, there's a grill available to cook an amazing dinner right while you listen to the waves crash/watch the sunset! It's amazing! Great for singles, families, couples, anyone. This place will not disappoint.

In fact, no one even apologized for our nightmare or offered to assist us, besides moving our luggage. If you have ever been faced with Bedbugs (this was our very first experience) then you will know the nightmare that we had, and are still going through 5 weeks post vacation.) Bedbugs aside, this place is disappointing to say the least. The website states "luxury vacation". This place has ZERO luxury. It is best described as rustic camping on the beach on an island. No restaurants, no bars, barely any staff, FILTHY rooms! (After we were reassigned a new bungalow, I spent 8 hours cleaning it.) The owner asked why we stayed if our experience was so bad. Let's remember that we are on an Island!!! We took a plane, and then It took us 6 hours to get there by boat! We don't have a car, and we don't have anywhere else to go! We didn't have a lot of options being part of a group. Also worth noting, the bungalow that we were reassigned to didn't even have running water in one of the bathrooms. We were told that this is a common problem on the island and nothing can be done! So we all had to share one small bathroom!!! For $850 night, we expected running water and clean rooms. After a 4 week battle we were refunded half of our money. That means the other half of our money went to pay for a filthy bungalow and one non usable master bathroom. So if you want a rustic beach vacation with no amenities, little staff, a dirty rental, and bedbugs, then this is the vacation spot for you! Just remember to bring your own cleaning supplies!
