Very nice curbside service and good food…read more Staying at a nearby hotel, I wanted a meal to take back to my room. I ordered online and headed for a curbside parking spot 20 minutes later. I ordered a Crab Rangoon roll, side salad, and a side of broccoli. The Crab Rangoon roll was excellent! My favorite. The side salad was much better than side salads from other restaurants. Broccoli was good as well. Drake's has been consistently good for takeout. I'm glad there is a location near the hotel where I frequently stay when working in the area.

During our meal we heard ABBA, Gloria Estefan, Neil Young, and Taylor Swift, which somehow worked for the atmosphere. Our waitress, Charlee, did a really nice job. She was attentive throughout the meal, checked on us often, kept drinks filled, and was especially accommodating and sweet with the older folks at our table. The manager stopped by to check on things and we mentioned we were celebrating two birthdays, including my father-in-law turning 86. He told us he'd make sure complimentary cookie à la modes came out for dessert. They were forgotten initially, but once we reminded Charlee, they came out quickly. Most of the food was good, though not perfect. I ordered the Cobb salad with seared salmon instead of chicken and requested no blue cheese crumbles. Charlee clearly noted it correctly, but a few crumbles still made their way onto the salad somehow. My wife enjoyed her fish tacos, although they arrived more deconstructed than expected. The fish, tortillas, and toppings all came separately, so it turned into a bit of a build-your-own situation at the table. The Purple Mirage cocktail was probably the standout item of the night. Blueberry purée, lemon juice, vodka, very refreshing and nicely presented. The draft beers at the table were also cold and served properly. One odd note: the bathroom had a sign that joked, "If this towel dispenser is empty, please use your clothes." Meant to be funny, probably, but combined with a step ladder and wet floor sign being stored in the handicapped stall, it felt a little less polished than the rest of the restaurant. Overall, Drake's was lively and energetic with good service from Charlee and mostly solid food. Not flawless, but still an enjoyable stop.

We were very sad to see our friends from Pints and Union leave, but are SO happy we stopped by…read moretonight. The service is great! Staff stopped and cleaned off your table as they passed, even though they weren't our staff. It's a bit loud, but still laid back enough to have a decent conversation. They serve their beer cheese warm, which is a nice change as most places have cold beer cheese to spread on a pretzel. Wings were crisp and come with three types of sauces to choose. I secretly love to try coleslaw whenever I see it on the menu and it was with it. Not too sweet and a good vinegar bite on the back end. The Hubs had a grilled chicken salad that was nice. Could have used more vegetables on it but it was a good sized dinner salad. Great beer and cocktail selection as well.

Our server did everything she could with also waiting on other tables and a 30 top party by herself. Spicy stack- decent burger, little over done- spicy mayo was good and helped with the burger, onion rings were crispy. OLT mac-n-cheese- creamy, Light cheese sauce, noodles were good with a little crunch to the top layer that added a great texture. Chicken was grilled and held in the geill flavor with a little hint charred spices. Our go to spot - food was still good, hopefully the management will staff better to help lut the girls.

We can't believe it took us this long to discover Pearl Street Taphouse. Although it's been around,…read moretonight was our family's first visit--and it absolutely will not be our last. There were six of us, and every single person at the table was genuinely thrilled with their meal. The food was outstanding across the board--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care--and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. We also enjoyed the drinks--a cider and a chocolate stout--both of which were excellent. It's rare to find a place where everyone walks away happy, but Pearl Street Taphouse managed it effortlessly. The unanimous decision before we even left was to meet back there again next week for dinner. That alone says everything. Highly recommend this local gem--we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Seating was available inside and out - accessible seating for those in a wheelchair would be difficult indoors due to limited space - tables are very close together. We elected to sit indoors due to the heat and had no trouble finding an available table. Our server was Greg and while the restaurant was not crowded - he was covering table tables both inside and out - which meant he would disappear for long periods of time. While he did his best to cover everyone appropriately, I believe the manager should reevaluate table coverage for a superior dining experience. The menu provides ample selection of items to order. I would highly recommend the large pretzel as an appetizer. We ordered the Cuban sandwich with potato salad and a chicken sandwich with waffle fries. I mentioned to Greg that I was lactose intolerant and he was able to accommodate by ensuring he would mention to the chef that no diary should be used in preparation. Both sandwiches arrived with no issues - with the only complaint being that the potato salad was very bland. Other than that, all went well. Overall, the food was good - fairly straightforward bar food. During peak times - seating will be limited, possibly non-existent. If you try Pearl Street Taphouse go during off-peak hours for the best service and seating options.
