I've been to O'Shea's Pub in Jeffersonville several times and I can say that I've never once had a…read morebad experience. The staff there are always so incredibly welcoming and the vibe is absolutely chill. O'Sheas makes for a great place to take friends or family with lots of various places to sit and have a delicious beer from their selection or bar food. On this trip I decided to try the Tavern Smash Burger (American Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Pickle, Tarter sauce on a potato bun) and for an appetizer I went with their Guinness Beer Cheese that comes with a very nice sized pretzel loaf which I've never had before. The food was extremely tasty and definitely items I would order again. It's counter service here so expect to order your food and pay for it right away at the counter (unless you want to keep a tab open if you plan on drinking) It's a pretty chill place and it too loud or noisy at least not on this evening. It I could imagine that would change if there is a game on at the moment which I'd expect. I absolutely recommend if you're looking for a great place that has very delicious bar food with a very helpful and friendly staff that you should make it a point to stop at O'Shea's.

My companion would have enjoyed his Duffy Burger more had I remembered to tell them to leave their 'special sauce off of it when I went inside to order. We sat outside enjoying the pleasant weather and a bit of people watching. Our friends enjoyed their choices too.

Updating since it's been a few years since my first review…read more First, come for the beer. They have lots of interesting options and are constantly making new small batches of different things. As a huge sour fan, I always try the latest sour, but they have things for everyone (including hard seltzer and hard tea!). Second, the food is usually good, not great, but good. That said, the quality isn't always consistent. If something is really bad, do speak up. The runny tacos, for us, isn't worth complaining about, but it is a thing. The freshness of the ingredients is worth bringing up. Plenty of parking, live music, high and low top tables... It's become our go to when we don't know where else to go place along with a certain sushi place. PS - they have brunch options on the weekends!

The bartender was also the server and possibly the chef. I think he was the only one in the entire building working. And although he was nice, the service was incredibly slow. The food was good. I will not knock that but never have I been at the restaurant where they pour a Diet Coke refill from a 2 Liter bottle in the bar area. The restaurant was incredibly empty, and the service was incredibly slow. My husband asked what the worker recommended and he recommended a cheeseburger. We did have a table of eight people, but the food took nearly an hour to come out and as I mentioned to the restaurant was empty. I am also fairly certain that the french fries that were on two of the guys plates at our table were from the McDonald's down the street. My chorizo brunch tacos were extremely dry. The chorizo seemed to be yesterday's hamburger meat with just a little bit of extra spice added in. Will we be back? Absolutely not. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else.

We can't believe it took us this long to discover Pearl Street Taphouse. Although it's been around,…read moretonight was our family's first visit--and it absolutely will not be our last. There were six of us, and every single person at the table was genuinely thrilled with their meal. The food was outstanding across the board--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care--and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. We also enjoyed the drinks--a cider and a chocolate stout--both of which were excellent. It's rare to find a place where everyone walks away happy, but Pearl Street Taphouse managed it effortlessly. The unanimous decision before we even left was to meet back there again next week for dinner. That alone says everything. Highly recommend this local gem--we're already looking forward to our next visit.

A group of four that arrived after us was served, and left before our waitress brought our food. Our waitress was pleasant enough, but she was a ghost - we rarely saw her. Even water was slow to arrive. One man in our party went to his car to get his own water bottle. The fish nuggets in the fish and chips were not done. Potato salad had little flavor. The huge pretzel was a hit, but not much else. Too bad. We had high hopes. Addendum: the owner's response is basically the same excuse she's repeated to nearly every less than good review. 1,) I wish I'd read reviews first, 2,) they should actually work on improving food and process rather than making excuses if they don't want to close the doors.
