Went here for a casual dinner. We got the rib special and the bacon cheeseburger with cheese fries. The ribs were actually really good and tender. They came with rice and beans. It was the best beans I've ever had. The rice had little pieces of pig fat in it, and so did the beans. Sooooo tasty. I asked for the burger to be medium rare. It came out well done but I wasn't going to ask them to remake it. It was big enough to split between two. The cheese fries were tasty. Good spot if you want a quick casual dinner. read more

And with a special of the day of 2 burgers and fries for $20 it was awesome. Nice thick Patties although one said her burger was a little over cooked. I thought my burger was really tasty... ADD ONE STAR: Awesome 2 x $10 mojitos which were a cold relief from the heat. Muy delicioso! MINUS ONE STAR: Our order was given to the table next to us and then brought back to the kitchen to be passed off as our own. I was dying of starvation and didn't speak enough Spanish to complain. And after seeing the customer had touched and lifted the bun previous, I was mad. But being HANGRY I just ate it and will disinfect with some cervezas after!!! As we were traveling the island we decided to give this place a try. As an appetizer we had the mix seafood arepa, and alcapurria de chapin. Both very good, the arepa was warm and crunchy which I loved. Seafood was fresh and overll very delicious. For our meal we had a burger with cheddar cheese & bacon, mozzarella cheese & bacon burger, swiss cheese & bacon burger. Sides of sweet potato fries, arepa, onion rings. Honestly, the burgers were a bit dry and needed more seasoning and the sweet potatos fries were undercooked and definitely not homemade. However, everything else we has was very good. They're homemade hot sauce is very good. They sell it for $5 the bootle. Hot sauce stole the show! read more

Visiting from Stateside and while on our way to see family we felt for burgers. Yelped ' Burgers' and this one came up, out of the few. Normally I wouldn't stop at a place with too little reviews but we didn't have a large selection to choose from. Anyways we stopped in. We liked the simplicity of the joint and liked the outside seating arrangement, but that's where it ended. The Burgers were okay and nothin to speak of. The fries wasn't very good and what really erk'd me was the time I had to wait for 4 burgers and Onion rings & fries! The damn things took like 40 minutes and my wife still didn't get her Onion Rings until 10 minutes after she was done! Not sure if this is an island thing, but I found that really annoying. My daughter got her Onion rings with her burger though, so my wife got to enjoy a few. Anyways I wouldn't recommend this place and neither would I stop here again. read more

This was probably our favorite dinner while staying in Rio Grande for a few nights. The pastellilos (especially camarones), arepa filled with conch, and churrasco (skirt steak), and tostones de pana were all excellent. The churasco was incredibly tender and flavorful! The place looks cobbled together and seemed to be filled with only locals besides us. It was a fun environment and the service perfect even though the restaurant is very casual. This shack (Chinchorro) is great and costumers are growing fast. I drive everyday by it and it's always packed, in PR that means good and cheap food. Hamburguer's are handmade, but they also have seafood stuffed biscuits (arepas). Mofongos are really good and portions are generous. On X-mas they sell BBQ Pork (lechon asao) on weekends, and is good and well seasoned. Interesting layout and they are expanding. read more
