We saw this spot while driving to our resort. After we got settled in our room we decided to go try it out (since we were staying at a fancy resort for a wedding we figured this might be the only chance we had to try out more local food). The place is super cute, fun, upbeat beachy vibes with live music! The food and drinks were fresh and the wait staff was lovely. I would highly recommend coming to Latin Burger Grill. The wings and Yuka balls were really good appetizers. The pollo rellano was good and the mero with creole sauce was good too. Nothing amazing. The service was friendly and a manager checked that everything was alright. The location might be confusing to get to from the highway but just go through the white gate street and around to the other side. Favorite place we tried on our trip. We went twice! The atmosphere is perfect, lively with music and good ambiance. Very much a bar and grill type atmosphere. A nice sized parking lot as well! The sangria, loaded fries, and mofongo are all 5/5 there and the servers are all very friendly and helpful if you're it sure what to order. We stopped by Latin Burger Grill after a day at the beach, looking for a spot where our son could catch some football while we grabbed dinner on our way back to San Juan. This open-air restaurant, with a covered seating area, was exactly what we needed. The service was excellent, and it's clearly a popular spot with locals--there were three large birthday parties happening on a Sunday evening! The menu offers plenty of options, and everyone in our group was happy with their meal. With ample parking and an incredibly friendly staff, Latin Burger Grill is a great stop and one I'd definitely recommend when traveling along Puerto Rico's east coast! read more

VISIT THIS PLACE. It's next to highway 3, but because to get to it you have to go behind the (between actually) Toyota & Kia dealership, it seems off the beaten path. Perfect place to have a hearty meal after hiking El Yunque. Food is delicious! Best mofongo I've had all week, great atmosphere, steak cooked on point, and friendly staff. When we arrived we walked up right behind a guy to took his temp, used hand sanitizer, and made note of his reading. Then starts asking those of us behind him if we've been helped. Whether you agree with the new normal or not, he led by example and immediately got to work to make sure his clients were taken care of. He turned out to be the owner. What attracted me to this place was their cute patio and the ambiance, good music playing etc. we were seated almost right away and everything was going well until we had to wait an hour and 25 minutes for our order . We were looking for a place to eat on the way to our hotel, and a quick search on yelp suggested Latin Burger grill. It was exactly what we needed! Right off the highway, easy accessible. It wasn't busy when we were there which was nice. We ordered the corn fritters as an appetizer. These were good, a little plain, but were paired with a ketchup/mayonnaise dipping sauce which was great. The burgers we ordered then arrived and they were huge! And had a lot of flavor...it was hard to finish! The staff were friendly, and it was nice being able to sit under a cover but still feeling like we were outside. Do NOT miss out on this place! My girlfriend and I have been in Puerto Rico for a week and tried half a dozen restaurants that offer "traditional Puerto Rican cuisine," and while all if them were pretty good, this restaurant was absolutely by far the best! Their skirt steak mofongo was the best meal I've had on the island, and the sides dishes and appetizers were wonderful, too. Also, the service was tremendous -- this is our first time in Puerto Rico and our waiter was friendly and made great suggestions on the dishes we ultimately tried. Don't be put off by the fact it's practically on the side of the highway. It's on a side road, the decor is nice, we didn't hear any sounds of cars or traffic, and we found the whole experience to be quite pleasant. Really, this place was a super find! It was so good that we are going back again for our last dinner on the island before we head back to the mainland. EDIT: We went back a second time, and it was just as good as the first. This time I ordered the fish tacos, which were great, and the chorizo appetizer, which was also fantastic. Also, don't miss out on the mamposteo rice. So good! read more
