We got here on Sunday night and for about half and hour we were the only customers. The Sangria selection is simply overwhelming, there are about 80 Sangrías to choose from. They also have a selection of tapas, which you can "mix and match" through their sampler menu. We ordered the Sangria sampler which contained six different Sangrías (3oz each) for $18 and the mini food sampler (3 types) for $15. The sangria flavours that we ordered were: grape, passionfruit, coconut, guava, coffee and tamarind. As for the food, we ordered the Queso Frito, Guayaba Empanadillas and Chicken Alcapurrias. Each of the food items came in servings of five. I really appreciate the waitress's effort to explain the menu, as well as the food items to us. It wasn't necessary, as we would've figured out a way out but she was attentive and informative. I must say that upon arriving here, I expected some homemade sangria. Surely I didn't expect all 80 flavours to be made in-house, but I wasn't ready for the realization that all 80 flavours came from store-bought and sourced bottles. When we got the sampler, I was surprised by how overwhelmingly sweet the Sangrías were and the lack of fresh fruit flavour. The food was pretty good, I especially loved the saltiness of the queso frito. My suggestion for the owners is to start selling house-made sangria as nothing will ever beat the fresh-made taste. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the variety of flavours, as well as the service.

Trip Advisor recommended arriving early to enjoy the welcome drink, and we are glad we followed that advice. The drink was excellent, and the on site grill gave us a chance to try some local cuisine before the tour began. There were also plenty of great photo opportunities around the welcome center, which we took full advantage of. Our tour started promptly with our guide, the very charismatic France. She mentioned she was new, but she carried herself like a seasoned professional. Her mix of humor and Bacardi history made the tour engaging and enjoyable. We saw the exterior of the factory, explored the museum with its artifacts and displays, and watched a short film about the company's legacy. At the end of the tour, we sampled premium Bacardi blends and then visited the gift shop. The tour lasted about an hour, which felt just right. The gift shop was well stocked with a wide range of items, including many varieties of rum. My only critique is that the shop does not accept cash, which is my preferred payment method. Even so, I purchased a nice Bacardi cigar ash tray with my credit card before we walked back to the welcome center. From there, we went to the ride share area and took an Uber to the Catano port, where we caught the short ferry across to Old San Juan. That spontaneous add on turned out to be a highlight. It was fun, scenic, only twenty minutes, and cost four dollars for two people. It was a great bargain. Overall, the Bacardi tour was fascinating, informative, and very enjoyable, thanks in large part to France and her energy. We left feeling like we truly understood the history of the rum and the company. It was absolutely worth it.

I recommend paying close attention when booking your tour time. My sister accidentally booked the wrong time slot, and unfortunately they didn't accommodate her. make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early for check-in so they do not deny you entry. We did the Legacy Tour, which was pretty relaxed and casual...you can comfortably wear sandals. If you're booking one of the more premium experiences, you may want to check the dress expectations ahead of time since some tours are more formal. Overall, it was a fun experience, especially if you enjoy rum, cocktails, and learning a little local history.

Our waiter was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us the entire night. Consistently checking in, refilling waters, removing plates, etc. The ceviche was some of the best I've had on the island so far. The fish was fresh and juicy, and the mango was the perfect touch. Each entree that we ordered was nearly licked cleaned from how good it was. Our favorites of the night were the lobster ravioli and ribs. We each had dessert as well, the chocolate cake and crème brûlée was perfect! I can't recommend this place more! It has been of our favorite places in Puerto Rico so far.

To start we had the mussels in a chowder like broth and spinach salad with blueberries and more...both fantastic. For entrees we had the linguini with chicken in a garlic oil broth, the lobster and shrimp ravioli, the spinach ravioli in a pesto sauce and the tuna...all fantastic. The moment we got there the server made us feel at home and the waiter was on point too. The vibe is old school jazz bar...just phenomenal food and everything...in NYC would have been a $100 cover plus dinner and drinks.

I can't put your finger on it exactly, the waiter was downright snobby. And looking at the other reviews here, I'm not the only one with that impression. After some additional unnecessary discomfort, we eventually settled the check and left to have dinner elsewhere. -- They said they didn't have a wine list when we asked for it, but the same waiter came with a list after we sat there indecisively deciding whether to leave or not. Didn't like the initial dishonesty. We were placed at a table under the air conditioner, which dripped on our table cloth. After putting in our orders, the waiter comes back and tells us the grouper carpaccio was out and suggests something else. We tell him to just waive it. He suggests another entree which we politely refuse. A short while later, the waiter says the grouper is somehow available again. Isn't that funny? Dishonest service and try-hard snobby ambience.
