These guys have over 50 types of sangria! They start with little samples to taste anything you want. They even have sangria flights and tapas if you're hungry! Dooo it!

    I'm here!!!

    Review Highlights - Sangrías

I was itching to quench my thirst for sangría after walking around Old San Juan all day and decided to give this place a try.

I genuinely cannot say enough positive things about this place!…read more The ambiance is amazing, the moody lighting accompanied by the live piano felt so cozy. Our waiter was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us the entire night. Consistently checking in, refilling waters, removing plates, etc. The ceviche was some of the best I've had on the island so far. The fish was fresh and juicy, and the mango was the perfect touch. Each entree that we ordered was nearly licked cleaned from how good it was. Our favorites of the night were the lobster ravioli and ribs. We each had dessert as well, the chocolate cake and crème brûlée was perfect! I can't recommend this place more! It has been of our favorite places in Puerto Rico so far.

This place is amazing!…read more Fantastic cocktails, food and music! You really cant go wrong...we had a bottle of wine, espresso martini and a dirty martini all on point! To start we had the mussels in a chowder like broth and spinach salad with blueberries and more...both fantastic. For entrees we had the linguini with chicken in a garlic oil broth, the lobster and shrimp ravioli, the spinach ravioli in a pesto sauce and the tuna...all fantastic. The moment we got there the server made us feel at home and the waiter was on point too. The vibe is old school jazz bar...just phenomenal food and everything...in NYC would have been a $100 cover plus dinner and drinks.

Trip Advisor recommended arriving early to enjoy the welcome drink, and we are glad we followed that advice. The drink was excellent, and the on site grill gave us a chance to try some local cuisine before the tour began. There were also plenty of great photo opportunities around the welcome center, which we took full advantage of. Our tour started promptly with our guide, the very charismatic France. She mentioned she was new, but she carried herself like a seasoned professional. Her mix of humor and Bacardi history made the tour engaging and enjoyable. We saw the exterior of the factory, explored the museum with its artifacts and displays, and watched a short film about the company's legacy. At the end of the tour, we sampled premium Bacardi blends and then visited the gift shop. The tour lasted about an hour, which felt just right. The gift shop was well stocked with a wide range of items, including many varieties of rum. My only critique is that the shop does not accept cash, which is my preferred payment method. Even so, I purchased a nice Bacardi cigar ash tray with my credit card before we walked back to the welcome center. From there, we went to the ride share area and took an Uber to the Catano port, where we caught the short ferry across to Old San Juan. That spontaneous add on turned out to be a highlight. It was fun, scenic, only twenty minutes, and cost four dollars for two people. It was a great bargain. Overall, the Bacardi tour was fascinating, informative, and very enjoyable, thanks in large part to France and her energy. We left feeling like we truly understood the history of the rum and the company. It was absolutely worth it.

The 1st time wasn't so fun Viator.com (booking website) switched my tour time slot to a time I didn't choose @ checkout. Unfortunately, the staff didn't accommodate me (the tour time had passed)so I had to go the next day. Be wary if you're booking tours online through Viator.com that your time slot doesn't get changed or book directly through BACARDÍ.com. That was my mistake Viator.com is a 3rd party vendor. I was bamboozled & thought it was directly from Casa BACARDÍ . The property itself is gorg, photo op ready,& well-kept,and you can immediately tell you're stepping into a major part of rum history. The tour was informative w/o feeling too long or boring,& it gave a nice overview of how the rum is made & the brand's background. The staff was friendly & made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxed. The tour guide was hilarious & kept the experience fun. There's also a nice gift shop if you want to bring something home or buy a souvenir. After & before (arrive @ least 15 mins. Earlier) your scheduled tour you can enjoy the lounge area. Maybe get a drink or 2 or just hang around & chill. The staff is very accommodating (@ your service),welcoming,& didn't make me feel rushed or like they wanted me to leave. Overall, it's a gr8 stop if you're visiting PR: educational, scenic, & fun, especially if you enjoy rum or just want a unique tourist experience.
