There are a few Mexican restaurants in the area, but this one had the best reviews and seemed to always be packed so my husband and I decided to order take out. There is no ability to order online, so we called the order in. The online menu was massive, yet for the most part, it was easy to navigate. Parking is plentiful since the restaurant is located on HWy 96 in the Publix shopping center. When I picked up the meal, the staff was friendly. Most importantly, our order was not missing anything. The ambiance was relaxed, with plenty of booths, and they also had tables for large groups. There is a small outdoor seating area on the side of the restaurant. Our order included chips and salsa, which we all enjoyed. The salsa was spicy and truly pleased my tastebuds. My husband ordered the shrimp fajitas, which he enjoyed. His meal included plenty of shrimp and veggies. Our son had the Texas fajitas and also enjoyed his meal. They both had enough left over to eat the next day. I had a mystery meal under the mixed section called New! Shrimp House Special. My meal was basically shrimp fajitas on top of soggy rice. The rice was way too mushy to eat, but the rest of my Entree was good. They probably should have put the rice in another container. We will definitely come back and will dine in next time. read more

Maybe it's my fault for expecting more or maybe it's because I came in half an hour before closing. Actually no, because I didn't come in with any expectations to be honest. No offense but small town Mexican restaurant that's a chain...it is what it is. Sometimes you luck up...most times you don't. So we ordered the guacamole with pico de gallo and that was pretty good. Salsa was ok...I prefer a chunkier salsa and this was pretty watery. The issue came with our entrees. We ordered fajitas and off rip I was like why are they not sizzling? If fajitas come and I can touch the plate...that's a problem. I didn't really say anything initially because who knows...maybe this is the norm for this restaurant. The problem came when I could hear the fajita orders of all the other tables as they passed by. My steak and chicken were dry...I ate a few bites but some pieces were just unbearable. The onions were the best part of the plate. Few bites of beans and rice but I just couldn't do it. Service was fine. I mentioned to my server the issue as he asked if we needed a box. I didn't, because I wasn't going to eat it. He said sorry and that was that. I asked to speak to a manager because I try not to leave a bad review without addressing it first with a manager. I could tell the server's hesitation in wanting to get the manager so I just called it a wash. So here we are. Won't be back but you know...maybe it was just unfortunate that...yea idk. I love going here! The environment is chill and clean. Employees are always so nice and attentive. We got their Queso dip and Guacamole Texano, which are always yummy! Chicken chimichanga plate and the Fajita Quesadilla plate (it has steak, shrimp, chicken, and veggies in) are delicious! So much flavor in the fajita quesadilla that it's my go to and they load them up! Unless I haven't eaten all day, I always have leftovers. He called me a liar over a 1.99 bag of chips. This was our every week restaurant but never again. Kind of your standard Mexican in Houston county, nothing great but nothing terribly wrong either. My steak fajitas tasted really good but my wife's chicken quesadilla tasted like it was cooked on an unclean flat top. Stopped by while visiting Georgia. They were super busy but there was no wait. The food came out super hot and fresh. As many times as I've eaten Mexican (literally my favorite) this is the first time that I have ever had my salsa refilled. I know it seems small but this was a huge deal for me. I live in Kathleen and this is my absolute favorite mexican restaurant. I visit here probably at least once a week. The staff is so friendly and all the food is amazing. I regularly get fajitas or steak tacos, but Ive honestly never had something from here I didn't like. The inside of this place has lots of seating and the staff is very good at what they do. Ok. So this is my second time visiting this place. I'll start off with, the salsa and chips are pretty tasty. I had a Chicken Torta with a side of rice and man was the Torta banging. It was full of flavor and they didn't skimp on the meat. Service was a bit slow to start (waited 5 mins before a waitress/bartender approached me as I was sitting at the bar). Once I ordered they cheeks on me a few times. Now. Ok to the bad. I ordered a Frozen Margarita and that bad boy was disgusting. Had a weird taste to it that I couldn't identify. Best Mexican place in Georgia. I've been to a lot. Especially in Warner Robins. But this place is the absolute best. Best service, best food, best drinks. Perfect sweet tea, free chips with salsa that is just the right amount of spicy, speedy service, small and chill. It's just so nice. Pretty good Mexican restaurant staple in the Warner Robins area. Just like most Mexican restaurants, there is plenty to choose from off the menu. I like to go for their non-traditional menu items like the Texan Burrito which is all three proteins: shrimp, steak, and chicken with fajita fixings all wrapped up and topped with cheese. Delicious! The house special is a bed of rice smothered in nacho cheese with steak onions mushrooms and peppers on top. This is a must try! The service here is excellent as well. WOW. 1 star for the crappiest customer service... EVER. I ordered a grilled chicken salad (with enchilada sauce as dressing). They forgot the dressing. So, after a 15 minute drive home, I called them. "We're closed, nobody in the kitchen." "Don't you have dressing at home?" "It's just a little condiment, it's not like we forget the salad". We were pleasantly greeted and then immediately take him to our table. We decided to take our son here for his birthday along with his girlfriend and my wife for a little bit of Mexican food. Needless to say the food was excellent and the facilities were very clean. Them singing Happy Birthday in Spanish embarrassed my son, but we all had a great had a great time. One star is too good for this place. We've been coming here for years but holy cow what one bad experience can do. In order of issues: 1. Never got appetizer even after a reminder to a separate server. 2. Server said to my daughter twice she didn't ask for red sauce on her burrito when we know she did. 3. When food arrived I asked to take the appetizer off the ticket, the server said we never order one. 4. Two of the three plates of food were cold. When we brought it to the attention of the server he asked if we wanted it remade. 5. The server was laughing when walking away. 6. I went to the front to seek a manager and our server was the only employee in sight so I asked him and he asked why and shook his head laughing. 7. Took several minutes for the manager to arrive and he was very nonchalant about the whole thing and even insinuated that the food wouldn't be cold. 8. At this point we said we just want to leave and the manager said we have to pay for the third plate of food which hadn't been eaten due to the amount of issues we had and lack of care to resolve them. He said we had to pay and walked away. 9. I expressed that eating out is more than just the food, it's the atmosphere and customer service we receive. The manager didn't care...said we got to pay. This is my first time ordering to go with this restaurant and it's about 9 pm when I ordered. Pick up my food when home and no any utensils. First thing that I try is the chips and they stale I throw them away. I've eaten at the old Russel location 5 years ago, which was good for what it was and several times at the new Russel location and it was decent for a Speedy Gonzales type lunch. I usually go out of my my way to order special at Mexican joints here in Warner Robins as everything is the same. Ground beef, "white" cheese, uninspiring sauce and ground beef. Did I mention ground beef? I guess that is what people in Georgia call Mexican but at least offer something special besides Gringo fajitas. Anyway, I decided to see what a #26 was about. Enchilada, buriito (same thing as best I could tell) and a Chile Relleno (NOT). All three were infused with ground beef and not much else as far as I could tell. The Chile Relleno appeared to be a slice of bell pepper dropped on top of ground beef (WRONG) and steeped in white goo. What's the deal with cheddar or at least yellow cheese around here? It does not exist. Possibly the thing they called nacho cheese that several dishes show as an ingredient but I was afraid to explore that one. Every time I hear nacho cheese I think of the viscous yellow stuff you squeeze out of the pump thingy at the gas station. I won't belabor this as it is obvious to me that my years in Tucson and traveling the West/South-West have ruined me for East coast Mexican. The place is popular as it is always busy and I cannot complain about the service. I just can't get past the 30 plus menu items that are all the same and all contain ground beef by default. I don't remember having beans at all, nor rice, in my order. Weird read more

This restaurant used to be top notch. As they've gotten busier, their service has went down. When I ordered a dish and got something that I didn't order, I told the waiter. His immediate response was that they brought me what I ordered and he started arguing. I was adamant that I did not order it with beef and he finally corrected it after raising his voice. Also, don't expect any substitutions for free like most Mexican restaurants. Asked to substitute for beans in place of chicken and they charged.
