My cousin brought me here when I was visiting and it was right up my alley. It is a part grocery store, part restaurant. There are two different registers, one that only does grocery items and the other that does both grocery and the restaurant menu items. It is definitely one business and the staff is so friendly. We ordered restaurant food and then perused the grocery portion, grabbing some fresh pork rinds that are by the pound. From there, we found a large table for our large group in the corner. There is a salsa bar that we partook in with a good selection of items. We snacked on our pork rinds and guacamole that we ordered that was huge. They also gave us chips and kept refilling them. My birria tacos arrived and they were delicious. The size was big and the meat was well marinated. It was a messy meal though for sure! Lots of napkins were used. Yuuuuuuuuuum! What a gem. Whenever I come home if I can sneak in a visit to Luis I will. Food is so good. I love the tortas. You cannot go wrong with them. I've been with friends and family and have never heard anyone complain about anything they have eaten. It is back in the cut off of Watson (I think near the Dollar General). There's also a small grocery area inside. I usually get my food to go but the one time I did eat in the service was good. Most authentic Mexican food I've had outside of Texas and California. Everything is super fresh, full of flavor and always on point. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They also have a grocery area where you can purchase authentic Latino products. Very diverse and reasonably priced. I can always find unique specialty items here that are not available in the regular grocery stores. They also have fresh uncooked proteins you can purchase and cook at home. It's not typically found in traditional stores and some come already seasoned...you can't beat that. read more

Door dashed their birria and wasn't satisfied. Doubled the shells was over kill and the first shell holding the meat was soggy. Lack of color. We ordered take out. The food is amazing! I've had Birria tacos before and I want a huge fan, but these were delicious! Fried just right and the sauce was so good they I was dipping my burrito in it. Speaking of the burrito, that thing is thicccccc. It was cooked perfectly. I am a sauce person, so I would have wanted it to be more sauce or sauce on the side to add even more flavor. But the birria sauce was perfect for it. The chips and cheese dip were sooo good too. The cheese dip is not a hot one, which we are ok with because of our toddler. The Mexican bottled cokes were a nice addition to the meal. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the esquite. I don't know if it was the mayo or what, but I've had much better. The guacamole was the best thing I had. We all ordered 3 Texas house specials, 2 taco salads, tacos, chips, salsa and guac. 7 of us and noone liked their food. It was just bland with no flavor. The salsa was watery. You can buy Mexican groceries here. Just wasn't what we expected. read more

They were one of my favorites, but the quality of food has gone down but the prices have steady gotten higher... I paid almost 50 dollars for two taco plates, and the rice and beans were cold. Came in for lunch on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. As soon as we walked in we had to maneuver around their crates as they were restocking the reach in coolers right by the door. As we walked through the market to get to the order counter, I could tell from the food I saw in the cases that this place was going to be super authentic. We had a party of 5, and we ordered fajitas, tacos, my fiancé had tofu nachos, and a chile relleno. The food was amazing and our server was super sweet as well. I came here seeking good Mexican food and was not disappointed. This place offers some great Mexican food in very humble surroundings. They have a small market attached, but it is the food that everyone was there for and after eating dinner there, it was easy to see why. I had a lamb taco and a steak burrito. They also handed me some chips and pointed me to the salsa bar. I will say that I enjoyed the various salsas, but thought that the carrots at the bar was a bit weak. The lamb worked amazing in a traditional taco. This is something that I will be raving about for days to anyone who will listen. The steak burrito was pretty amazing and it wasn't only quality, but quantity. They give you a lot of food for the money. I strongly recommend this place. We had 10-15 minutes before pickup and showed up on time and didn't mind waiting but 5-6 guys skipped in front of us because they acted like they knew the workers Well we didn't make that a big deal and just took our food to go. We had $55 worth of food. Birria Tacos with rice and beans Steak quesadillas with rice and beans Cheese quesadilla with French fries Medium Guacamole and cheese dip The birria tacos were good but not much flavor same for the dp soup. The steak quesadilla wasn't good at all it was super greasy. The cheese quesadilla and fries were for my son but he couldn't eat the quesadillas because the cheese was so hard can't mess up French fries tho... The guacamole was okay. And the cheese dip was not good. By the time we got it, it was cold and super thick we had to stick it in the microwave to be able to eat it. I wanted to try one more local spot before 2020 ended. I hopped on Yelp, found this spot, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered this for delivery and it came right on time. My delivery driver was very nice and she texted me when she left my food on my doorstep. This food was crazy yummy!!! I ordered their Luis Fries, a burrito, churros, and their cheese dip. There was nothing bad and the food was delicious! When you eat their food you can tell that everything is made fresh, especially their queso, pico, and churros. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of place, but I'm telling you THE FOOD THE FOOD THE FOOD THE FOOD!! You walk in and you're transported to a Tienda in Mexico. They speak mainly Spanish but they're kind of you look out of place lol. This place is definitely the most authentic Mexican food you can get FOR SURE! The best dish they have are the deliciously juicy and succulent birria tacos, but also try the incredibly packed burrito with el pastor, or even the sopas and delicious flan they have. The actually restaurant itself is small, just a few tables for the regulars, but most people get theirs to go, Honestly anything you get at this place is incredible. This place is incredible. Don't come here expecting American style Mexican food - it's authentic; the real deal! We have become regulars. I haven't had anything I don't love yet, but tend to fall back on the burrito which is HUGE! My husband loves the shrimp torte, and we never skip on the guacamole. Lived here since 2011 and would have never found this place without the reviews. It is down a side street off Watson near Home Depot. I am from the pacific NW and am very familiar with authentic Mexican foods. I had the burrito with everything on it, chose a mix of 2 meats, steak and chorizo (menu says Mexican sausage). I also got a drink and some chips. I believe my total was around $11 after tax. Chips were stale and cold . . . . . Salsa was excellent, although some labels would have been nice describing each one, at the very least which is hot and which is not. waiting time was not too bad, the interior of the building did seem pretty "cluttered" with all kinds of things just set on counters or the floor mostly due to what appeared to be a significant portion of the place was not being used. First bite of my burrito was great, the flavors took me back where I am from and reminded me of the trucks at job-sites and the smaller restaurants where the menu was only printed in Spanish. I will be back with my family to have a try at some of the other menu offerings but am very happy to have found a place with a real authentic taste. Almost forgot, this place is way better than Taco's and More Loncheria (on Houston Lake RD), which has gone downhill over the last several years. read more

We have wanted to try this Mexican restaurant for a little while now... All of the reviews are very positive and we have struggled to find very good Mexican food in the Warner Robins area. I will start off with the not so happy issues first... this is not a fancy sitdown restaurant. I repeat, this is not a fancy sitdown restaurant... The biggest complaint we had was not necessarily the service, but the amount of time it took us to get our food. The restaurant was not very busy and may have been understaffed... We ordered two plates of tacos and it took 35 minutes to get our food. I initially asked where our food was about 25 minutes or so after ordering and it still took another 10 minutes or so to get our tacos. The other issue that may set some people off is the lack of a menu with prices on them. We ordered two plates of three tacos each and two large fountain drinks and our bill was $25.50. This seems to be a bit excessive! Lastly, we were given the incorrect change back on our order and had asked for this to be corrected. I'm sure it was an oversight, but felt it was worth mentioning... Now for the good... Actually, great! Our tacos were simply amazing! We had a combination of chicken and steak tacos with the supreme option and they were absolutely delicious. The limes on the side and a delicious salsa / hot sauce bar were a nice touch. They also had some pickled Mexican vegetables that were very tasty too. We will go back and try again based on the quality of the food! Hopefully service and speed will improve next time!
