Had dinner at El Jalisco and had a great experience overall! I tried the Adobe Chicken - absolutely delicious. Super tender, slightly creamy flavor, and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend it! My wife ordered the Molle Chicken, and it was just okay. The chicken was fine, but the mole sauce was kind of flat and a little too sweet for my taste. The real standout (besides the Adobe Chicken) was the service. Our server was awesome, super friendly, always on top of things, and made us feel really welcome without hovering. Definitely a spot I'll come back to, but I'll just probably ordering something different next time if I'm in the mood for mole! read more

My boyfriend and I are dedicating our review to our amazing server Oscar for always having a great attitude and service. We are regulars here because my boyfriend loves loves this El Jalisco location specifically. We asked for Oscar specifically and we sat down he said so water and half and half tea. We love that he recognizes and remembers who we are. The food is constantly good. We ordered a small queso, small quac, fajita quesadilla with grilled chicken, and the chile rellono beef. the worst Mexican food I ever had. The taco salad was a sloppy, nasty mess.. the meat tasted old and smelled just as bad.... Their fajita meat quality seems to have declined over the years other than that i feel like they are one of the better places to get Mexican around town. We tried this restaurant for the first time for dinner. The place is nice and big from the inside. The servers were wearing masks. We started with the chips and fresh guacamole dip. They make the dip right in front of you with all the fresh ingredients! (Avocados, onions, tomatoes, etc). It tasted great. Then I tried their Mexican lasagna, which was something new and different for me! I really liked it. The food portions are big and I couldn't finish my Mexican lasagna. It comes with fried tortillas, beef, and cheese. See photo below! Hubby ordered the three amigos, which comes with shrimp, chicken, steak, and some rice and beans. That was delicious too. The only thing they can improve on is their drinks. We didn't go for buy 1, get 1 free margaritas. Instead we tried their Mariritas (those are made with Don Julio tequila) but for the price ($16), you don't get much. Our glasses weren't even full with the drinks. They need to be more generous with those drinks. I won't order those again as it was a disappointment. Usually Mexican restaurants are known for their drinks especially margaritas. Other than that, the service was good and you should check out this restaurant the next time you are in mood for some authentic Mexican food! read more

I forgot to take pictures of my food because I was so hungry! BUT I had the chicken enchilada and it was fantastic! The sauce on top was amazing! I also had a pineapple margarita that was amazing! The salsa is spicy and delicious. My husband had the street tacos and they were served with two dipping sauces and had lots of cilantro which we love! Me and a friend of mine came in and got mediocre service from one of the servers , asked for no tomatoes on my taco and it came back with no lettuce no tomatoes and was only checked on twice and the table next to us had amazing service from her and the manager or whoever he was told us it was her first time severing but me and my friend are servers so we know how to tell if someone is new and we could tell she wasn't new at all. read more

Nothing bad to say about this place other than I couldn't switch up my street taco order to get different kinds of meat and they don't have a la cart Al pastor tacos! I was super excited to find a place that had birria tacos. As soon as they brought the chips and salsa I knew this place would be good! Salsa is spicy, but good spicy, chips are fresh. The place was good. Booths are tight if you are 250 pounds. I saw one family move out of one. Cuervo margaritas were 2 for 1, and the first thing you think is that they're going to stretch out the booze, but that was not the case. The drinks were very satisfying. The food was fresh and hot. This is American Mexican food, we went on Sunday evening..The service was mediocre, I ordered the Chicken Chimi - was very disappointed - My chicken was unseasoned, the tortilla was not fried, looked like it was baked and then covered in queso,(which made it soggy) the lettuce and tomato looked alittle sad on the side, with a dollup of refried beans next to a cup size of mexi rice/ presentation was awful and hubby had Taco Dinner - 3 crunchy tacos - meat not seasoned, dollup of refried beans and a cup size mexi rice - Presentation of his dish was better than mine.The salsa was on point. 35 bucks for our dinner he had tea and I had water (no Coca Cola avail) The decor is great and the place was quiet. When I ordered my water the waiter asked if I wanted lemon I said yes, never got a lemon.. When we were brought more chips, no more salsa was offered even though we ordered queso dip too. We go to this restaurant once a week. Today at lunch we ordered the Taco Salad. It came with the Taco Salad and a drink. When we got the bill we were charged $3.12 a piece for drinks. When I asked the waiter why were we're charged when it said free drink, he said you have to say express when you order. I asked what is the difference between the taco salads and he said there is no difference. So I said because I didn't say the word express I get charged for a drink even when the food is the same. He said yes. When I mentioned it to the manager on the way out, she didn't seem to care. So for the price of two sodas they are losing loyal weekly customers. read more

Perfect food, so many options! Authentic, tasty food with excellent waitstaff and drink options. We started with the nachos as pictured. We also ordered Al pastor tacos, shrimp ala creme, and beef quesadilla. We couldn't have asked for more taste and quantity! Rice and beans are on point. Sopapilla was not the best I had so next time we will likely try the fried ice cream.
