This is my absolute favorite place to get street tacos. They have an amazing carne asada taco, and I always get some extra limes as I love one slice per taco ! The family that owns and runs this place is amazing -- they always remember me and are warm and friendly. Good, fresh Mexican food. Small interior with about ten tables, but we witnessed many customers picking up carry out. Burrito Supreme is very large and easily could be split between t diners. The shrimp cocktail was a bit sweet and not quite as cold as I prefer, but had huge jumbo shrimp and lots of avocado. After adding some ice cubes and hot salsa, it was very good. I had the quesadilla platter and had to try the pupusa with the pickled veggies. Both were incredible. They use carne asasa for the beef in the quesadilla, and the cheese was so so good. The pupusa is like a flat hot pocket made with corn. The inside of mine had pork, beans, and cheese. The only thing that was slightly odd (still good) was the complementary salsa. It reminded me of the pizza sauce for lunchable pizza...only with a kick! Still was very good mixed with my rice! Used my received beans and leftover sour cream to make a dip for my chips. Their food is great. It comes out really fast, it's hot and pretty good. It's an order and sit kind of place which is great if you know what you like or know the place. Their customer service was excellent to regulars. It was our first time so we were served w some reservation. If I have tacos, I need green salsa and they only have red. Bummer. My husband wanted carne asada on his pupusas but the sign said chicken or beef so he went w chicken, which was good (for chicken) but he would have preferred another option. Unfortunately this part of town doesn't have a lot to offer food wise outside a number of fast food chains, so this place is a pretty nice alternative when you're craving Mexican. They have a pretty decent sized menu and I like the quaint "Hole-in-the-Wall" atmosphere. This is authentic Mexican food, so if you're looking for a place like Taco Shop or Taco Pronto or Taco Bell, you're probably not going to like this place. A taco here is a small soft tortilla filled with carnitas and not much else. The food here is amazing and tastes very fresh. The ambience isn't much more than a couple of plastic tables and chairs, but if you're looking for a good quick fresh and cheap lunch or dinner then this is one of the better places to go. Amazing authentic Mexican food. My boyfriend's family found this place and now he and I go almost every Friday night as a start to our weekend. The people who say this is good must not know what really authentic mexican food is. I got a chicken burrito supreme and gorditas. The gorditas were okay, at best, and were the only thing my wife and I actually ate. The burrito supreme just flat didn't taste good. The rice served on the side was obviously from package and had zero flavor. The pico de gallo was about 75% onion. I give it 2 stars but it at least appears to be clean. read more

Best chicken street tacos in town, not greasy or dry, great flavor. These tacos are so good I can eat them the next day (stored in the same styrofoam to go box) and the tortillas are just as strong and not stale/too chewy. Salsa is better than the 24hr places, a side of guacamole is generous and perfect flavor. I go out of my way to get these tacos.
