I had seen some reviews complaining but we had nothing to complain about. On a Saturday night at 7:30 we were seated immediately. The waiter took drink orders, came back to get food orders, and checked on us throughout our visit. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Food - probably some of the best Mexican food I've had!! The chips. - nice and thick and crisp. Could have used more salt but I know many places allow people to salt to their own taste. Homemade Hot Sauce - great flavor and a good amount of heat. I really enjoyed it. Ribeye Tacos - delicious. The onions and jalapeños were cooked perfectly. Even the rice was some of the best I had. Highly recommend putting some of the house hot sauce on it. Pastor street tacos - another delicious dish. The combination of the pastor and pineapples with cilantro and onion was perfect. Fajita Salad - had a bite of my daughter's food and it too was good. A good combination of vegetables and meat that I would consider for next time. Overall I would love to stop back here another time if I'm passing through Lafayette.
