Low Amigos offer decent Mexican food at a very low price. There is not a lot on the menu, I wish they had more options. For example they don't serve the fish tacos I had the the chicken tacos and the quesadilla. The ingredients used in the tacos seemed fresh and I really enjoyed the tacos ( NOTE: the tacos are served with a lot of cilantro and onion) The quesadilla was ok. The place is really close to the skydiving Indianapolis. It has 2 entrances and a dedicated parking space right outside the restaurant. Would say it's one of the best Mexican places I have been to but it's decent for someone who wants to try local Mexican food when in Frankfurt Will give this place a 3.5/5

I asked my brother in law, without hesitation he recommended this place. Quick service with a smile. Great food.

Delicious! Randomly came across this on my trip to Frankfort, and decided that I had to stop in and it did not disappoint. The inside was very clean. There was a handful of parking spots out front and out back! The menu is expansive and offers a lot of good Mexican food. If you're eating in, you get complimentary chips and salsa! The chicken tacos were authentic and the salsa verde to go with it was spicy, but flavorful. The staff here was sooooooo nice. Everyone left full and happy.

    Really good authentic Mexican food.

The bright yellow and blue place was hopping with the Saturday lunch crowd. There are seven tables inside (all filled) and two covered blue picnic tables outside. Seating is tight, but fun. Classic soft rock plays in the background. The menu offers burgers, hotdogs, tenderloin and other assorted diner foods. People say the burgers are the best in town. Daily specials are listed on a board. They also serve local Triple X root beer and fried Oreos. Klayton took our order. The staff is friendly and efficient. Food came out quick. I had a Chicago Dog (Nathan's dogs). The dog was thick, juicy and authentic, except for the relish. The poppy seed bun was packed with pickles, peppers, tomato, onions and mustard. It was a great dog. My husband had a loaded pork tenderloin, which we were told is the "best". The enormous pork tenderloin was hand pounded and tasted super fresh. The corn meal breading was tasty. The brioche bun was toasted. He loved the tenderloin and gave it a solid "5" and said it was Trail worthy (an honor not bestowed easily). We shared an order of their crinkle cut fries. The fries were super hot and crisp. There is plenty of parking. A beautiful orange tabby greets you at your car. A freshly painted yellow fence surrounds the lot. We'll be back to try the ice cream. Super fun place. Worth the drive.

2 stars. TL;DR -…read moreroot beer in frosted glass is divine; onion rings were delicious; service is lacking. We were intrigued by the root beer and loved the idea of enjoying it in a frosted mug, so we popped over for dinner. We ordered a myriad of things, all of which were eventually served in one giant paper tray with zero markings to identify what was what. And our root beers? Served in paper cups. When we asked about the frosted mugs, we were told they were about to close and had suspended tray service. However, the car that pulled in AFTER us received frosted mugs... and so did the folks seated at the picnic tables. So... huh? We flagged down a different carhop and asked why those patrons were still being served mugs. Again, we were told it was because they were about to close. But the sign clearly stated they closed at 10 PM, and both parties arrived after us and received mugs after we'd already been told service was suspended. Was this a case of dining while Black? In this current political climate, I honestly never know. I certainly pray that wasn't the case. The carhop apologized and didn't offer any additional excuses. She simply said she'd speak with the manager. Shortly thereafter, two frosted mugs appeared, filled with some of the creamiest root beer I've had in quite some time. I prayed over mine again because, listen... I worked in restaurants. I've seen crazy things. For the record, the hours posted on the menu board are incorrect. They actually close at 9 PM on Saturdays, not 10. And right at 9, the lights shut off completely. So if you plan to keep eating, you'll need to turn on your dome light like it's a tailgate party. The onion rings and root beer were genuinely enjoyable. The hot dogs, burgers, fries, and fried mushrooms were mid. Just... meh. Nothing to write home about. But what truly irritated me was the corn dog. Everybody knows the best part of a corn dog is that crispy little batter nugget near the stick. WHY would they scrape it off?!?!?! Who does that? Why would you intentionally remove the batter from the stick? I was absolutely appalled. Pffft! I'd return for the root beer or maybe a root beer float, but I'd strongly advise arriving before 8:30 PM if you actually want the full frosted mug experience.
