I come here for the crepes. As far as I know, it is the only place in this part of the desert (aside from the commercial eateries like IHOP or Dennys) that serves up a sweet crepe. I appreciate local businesses, and I appreciate this one. On busier days service is slow, but I am okay with that because depending on what you order, you will hear the knives chopping through fruits and the juicer taking in those fruits. I have been coming here for years and do not think the strawberries in my strawberry, banana, and nutella crepe have ever been frozen. Maybe overripe or underripe (not often), but never frozen. The service is always nice. Sometimes there are two in the kitchen, lucky if there are three, and expect something slower if there is a line and one person. It is just the flow of the business, you know? The crepe is delicious. Think of it as a thin, large pancake and wrapped inside is your choice of filling, including ham, turley, and mozerella cheese. Savory, stuff. I tried their Jamaica for the first time. It was sweeter than expected, but I am not complaining, it was still good. I dig this place. Went in with a couple of friends to try a new place and it did not disappoint. First off, we got there 15 minutes before closing but the gentlemen at the register was very nice and helpful and even let us finish our food in the shop! I ordered two of these so called "tortas de lomo " today I ordered them since first time I come here About 2 weeks a go I ordered some raspados ,and Lady who works there recommended me torta de lomo saying was soo good and delicious So decided give it a try .. Well nooo , tortas was pretty bad on taste The bright red sauce they seasoned the meat with , tasted just like chamoy or some sort of chile they use of some of the raspados there The meat was even hard to see (A veryyy thin meat layer of it , ) i do not recommend this torta de lomo at All ... I ordered the churrolocos and strawberry smoothie. My sis in law got the tostilocos. Although they consider themselves a FRESH place they add powder to the smoothies. I don't know what the powder is but I don't want it in my smoothie. I didn't order a protein shake that's for sure. The drink was more on the watery side. I won't be ordering that again. The churrolocos and tostilocos were great. My big problem with this place is that it isn't all that clean. Kids everywhere and not under control by any parent. I am currently on crutches and these kids were running around like they were at a playground and I almost tripped coming in and after ordering. Toys scattered on the floor as well. Dirty tables. I would love to give this place a 5 star, but one of their employees is quite on the rude side. I have no idea what her name is, but so far out of the 5 different women we have seen in our two visits to this places, this woman is rude. The food is delicious, we've tried the Chamangos, the corn on the cup aka Esquite, smoothies, raspados, and Bionicos. The place is small, somewhat on the warm/stuffy side but clean. Just be cautious of that rude woman, she will standout immediately. We invited our friends on our 2nd visit to El Kiosko. Arrived at 7:40pm (they close at 8). Immediately some man told us that we were the last ones (like if we were door monitors). We walk in with our kids and friends. Suddenly the "rude woman" says what is no longer available to order because of the time. Ok, fine. Yet she made the visit uncomfortable, she was rushing us and had the nerve to say that they are "punctual on their closing time, as soon as 8 hits they are done". Keep in mind they made over $60 total in our orders. She was so pushy and demanding to the other female employee. Speaking in front of us in regards to how the register is being affected because she had already closed off the sales for the day etc. She even told us that we had to order "to-go". So we rush. We leave and eat out in the parking lot. Only to witness her disputing something with the other employee, and some other female who showed up. I clearly heard her mention how "she wanted this and that and like this on the cup"... she was talking about ny friend. My friend was precise on her corn on the cup. These women didn't leave the parking lot until 8:45!!!! We will still return, but will keep fingers crosses that the bitter rude woman won't be there. read more

I would think would wait to do with no customers plus before I even order and after being pushed to side they decide to balance their register while I wait and start with me there to see if til balances.. vs at opening or close of store but at 3pm .. wth.. prices are OK can add up ordered 2 cup elote, a combined juice, fresas crema cup = $20 with a fee for credit card tacked on even after wasting my time waiting for the unloading and register to be balanced and even counts all coins, a bit annoying.. customer service obviously stinks! My first time there I went neither my family and boyfriend and I had a torta de lomo with nachos and they took over twenty minutes to five me my order. My family got all of their orders and around five people that were in line behind me got their orders before I did. After all the time I waited, the torta had barely any meat and had a lot of lettuce as a substitute. The nachos came ten minutes after because they had forgotten about then and when I received them there was a puddle of jalapeno juice at the bottom which made them soggy and taste like vinegar.
