    Explosion
    Clint M.

My wife absolutely loves this place, so she insisted on bringing me to try it out. Apparently she and some friends used to come by, grab drinks/desserts, and study for class since it's not too far up the road from where they were going to college. On this visit, my wife went with a Mango explosion while I got an Oreo milkshake. The Mango explosion came with two types of ice cream, whipped cream, and candy on top. I'm not much for the sweet-and-spicy take on Mexican candy, so I was less than impressed with her dessert as a whole. It wasn't bad, just not my style. My "milkshake" seemed surprisingly light, but then I realized that they used crushed ice as filler to make it Mexican style, while I'm more used to the full ice cream style you get north of the border. Once again, I was a bit underwhelmed and it didn't live up to my expectations. My wife will undoubtedly want to come back here, and we will, but I'll definitely adjust my expectations for the next visit.

I order from them often ...their tostada's and authentic sandwiches are always tasty and with fresh ingredients...they also have watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fresh fruits cut up and you can add lime..Tajin..etc... Don't forget the drinks a wide variety for your taste .

The location is pretty crappy ‍ but when you step inside the atmosphere is oddly refreshing! All of the fruits , & juices are very fresh , customer service is actually good the people they usually have a the front are really sweet , no complaints!!! Only 1 is simply how sketchy the location is ‍

My boyfriend and I absolutely love it !! On rare occasions the ice creams feel a bit watered down, reason why I'm not giving the 5 stars .

we also got mangonadas and customized them (ex: changed from chamoy trole to mango trole, asked for mango instead of cucumbers) and the server was helpful and did it for us!

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5…read moreAmbiance: 2/5 Overall: 4.2 My group got the fresh fruit shaved ice with strawberry ice cream and coconut pudding. The shaved ice itself was really nice and fluffy, with the condensed milk topping being VERY sweet yet not overpowering. The fruit toppings we got, for the most part, were good. The pineapple and cantaloupe were both okay, though I think they both could've been fresher, but the strawberry and mango were both really good and complemented the shaved ice. I also really enjoyed the strawberry ice cream on top. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it added another dimension to the dish. The coconut pudding, though, was quite disappointing, not tasting like much and overall just feeling like a random and unnecessary addition to the otherwise really good dessert. The ambiance here was the main issue. It is a little bit barebones and not very decorated, but that didn't bother me. What did though was the piercing high pitched noise of the electronics, which made it really hard for me to focus, and the flashing lights, which just made me feel really disoriented. Still, this place is a hidden gem in the Dun Huang Plaza compared to everything else around it, and is definitely worth a try!

The service is quick and the staff is friendly! The tables were clean and has a cozy vibe. It also is perfect place to hang out or have good conversation! NOW FOOOd! I had the strawberry and cream and Mango cream and was so delicious! It tasted fresh and you fall in love with the cream. If you do not like rich desserts you will be obsessed with this. They are stuffed to the max and can be shared to try multiple desserts. The RAmEN half and half was with cheese and beef sausage and was delicious! I taste this with the habanero and it made me want more! It has the perfect crunch and cheese that delivers and the cheese runs for days! Do know they also have a cheddar and honey mustard if you do not like spicy sauce. I would definitely recommend to have this first before trying the hot Cheeto or takis version. PRICING Very reasonable for desserts and drinks OVERALL Great place for something more than just your normal sweet custards/bread we know and love! It takes dessert to a new level of taste buds. I will definitely be back for the classic Bing Su and more Ramen because I could not get enough. Did I also mention they also have drinks too so get a little bit of everything to get the full experience and stay a while! Thank you Sul Bing Su for thinking outside the box and bringing up Something so sweet and unique! Please note do not come on a full stomach you will want to try everything!

We didn't get the boba from here, and instead got an ice cream cone. I like that they have soft served and scoop options. I didn't use the bathroom so I don't know how clean it is, but the main area did look clean and well maintained for a Friday night. My daughter got a sample of the ice cream and liked it. So we got the soft serve, but at almost $10 or with tip for a small soft serve ice cream, I cannot give them the full five stars, even if it is premium matcha. I will say, however, that it did taste like matcha and not a water down version.

Parking was a little hectic, but that's pretty typical for Chinatown, so it wasn't unexpected. When you walk in, you order through a kiosk, which makes the process quick and easy. They offer a wide selection of ceremonial-grade matcha drinks and ice cream, which is impressive. There was plenty of seating available during my visit, though I could see it becoming limited during busier hours. The shop itself was cute, with colorful artwork and paintings decorating the walls. One downside was that it felt quite warm inside, which made it less comfortable to sit and enjoy my drink. There was also a noticeable odor in the shop, possibly due to the lack of air conditioning. One thing I really appreciated was being able to watch the staff prepare the matcha right in front of customers using traditional whisks. It added an authentic touch and showed the care that goes into each drink. As for the strawberry matcha, it was excellent. The drink was perfectly sweet with a great balance between the earthy matcha and the fruity strawberry flavors. Neither flavor overpowered the other, creating a refreshing and well-crafted drink. Overall, if you're looking for a quick spot to grab an authentic strawberry matcha, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. The drink alone is worth the visit, and I'd happily come back to explore more of their menu.

The drink is consisted slushy ice instead of just ice cubes. So, every drop of this cup can be consumed at once, without any waste. The sweetness can be adjusted to zero sugar and still taste great. The boba, aka tapioca balls, are phenomenal. It's included in the drink price $5.00, tax included. Where can you find a boba tea at this price in Houston Chinatown? The employees are always friendly and helpful. They are bilingual in English and Spanish. I could even find Mexican candies on the shelves. Just look at the menu and order by the number. The drinks was $5 each they dont charge extra for the tapioca. Because of the simple ingredients and no extra syrup or fruit it was just ok 7/10.
