Can't get fresher than this!! Get the Mango Berry Milk Shaved Ice / 草莓牛奶冰 and add Rice Balls! You won't regret it. Super nice and fresh on a hot Houston day. The shaved ice is super soft and fluffy, with the sweet condensed milk and icecream as a topping pairs great. The rice balls were nice and chewy and gives the shaved ice an extra texture. Plenty of searing inside and parking is within the plaza or garage.
Tried their Pudding & Q mochi Milk shaved ice - (almond pudding, caramel pudding, mini q, q mochi, melon jelly, and ice cream) this time around. 13$ for a medium, 14$ for a large I will give them kudos that their large is really, large. Can definitely feed a entire party cause wow that was a lot. I would say taste-wise, its mostly just okay. All of these jellies and puddings were fairly tasteless to us. I personally think the ice cream was probably the best part. My party got their oolong milk tea and the hot almond drink and were okay. The hot drink option is nice and a bit different and stands out compared to other neary drink options.
Meet Fresh is known for their authentic taiwanese shaved ice with fresh fruit and mochi toppings. And I'm all here for it. There has never been a dessert that I haven't enjoyed here. Most times, I get there big mango shaved ice mountain (I don't even know what it's called, but you'll see the menu pics and know which one I'm talking about). This order has never failed me. It features light, fresh ice, big and sweet mango chunks, super chewy and flavorful mochi bites that all go together so perfectly. Another one of my favorites is the cold tofu pudding dessert. For those that have never tried, it is soft jiggly tofu in a ginger soup base that is so refreshing and satisfying, espectially in the hot texas heat. Reminds me so much of my childhood summers in Taiwan. Recently, I also tried their mango sago and taro shaved ice mountain. Both were amazing and reinforced for me the eliteness of meet fresh. (I have heard that their drinks aren't good, and probably makes up for most of the supbar ratings here, but to each their own!)
I got the Hot Red Bean Soup Signature. The soup was warm and had a thinner texture than I expected. They had to add the sesame rice balls, not very pliable, after I noticed they weren't in the bowl. It tasted like scoops of everything were added to the bowl with the red bean soup poured over it. If the soup was hotter, maybe everything would have been warmed through. For some reason, while I was sitting there at night, they decided to increase the volume for the music really high when everyone was just conversing quietly.
Came to this location for the first time! We ordered one of the classic ones from the menu; black sugar milky boba shaved ice, and it was really good! We requested for less sweetness and it turned out to be the perfect sweetness that we like!! We ordered L size for four of us and we ate it like nothing! Come visit and get your favorite ones! Cheers

Poor service. Poor communication. Marketing scams - I think I got scammed.. I attached to show the product that I actually got - the picture on the poster is very misleading compared to what i actually got. I am so disappointed. Where are the crumbs at the top of the ice cream? The ice cream isn't even pistachio - it's literally vanilla flavor. I can't believed I paid $15-ish for this. Big scam! I may as well go to Nu Ice for a way bigger mountain of ice and way cheaper price - they use real fruit for the ice flavor at Nu Ice. I was so excited for the pistachio series but the result was so frustrating and disappointing. I pointed it out to the staffs there - they just shrugged their shoulders, and did not even acknowledge my concern that I raised. Another thing, for a place that requires napkins when people eat, why don't you guys add more napkins?
Meet Fresh is it interesting take on Taiwanese iced desserts. Seating and ordering is made easy and quick. There's plenty of tables and space to choose from. The place overall is quiet and cute with hints of minimalism meets modern. In an age where Asian Foods is highly competitive, Meet Fresh has yet to carve out a niche that beckons returning customers. We ordered a shaved ice tower nested with red bean and mochi topped with ice cream. You would expect the ice to be a nice palette cleanser and refreshing base to help with in between bites of sweet such as ice cream and red bean. But the ice cream and red bean are already overly sweet and coupled with a sweet ice base is to overwhelming for me. The staff and space is nice, but that alone is not enough for me to want to return for seconds. Still, I hope the business thrives and aligns with a pool of consumers that enjoy a more all-encompassing sweet tooth treat.
I came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. The place is very casual, order-at-counter type of place, and the service is also to pick up your order athe counter. If you have a group sharing, you could get some smaller bowls to share. I tried the mango and strawberry shaved ice, which had a nice fruity flavor, and the black sugar boba milky shaved ice which satisfied both the shaved ice and bubble tea cravings in one. Both were large, with a scoop of ice cream placed on top. I came with a group of 6 and there was plenty of room to sit, and we shared 3 total items. I really enjoyed the shaved ice here and the variety of flavor options!
Overall - a delicious dessert experience if you're a fan of grass jelly, mochi balls, and icecream. Food: plenty of options to choose from but be warned that they don't let you substitute stuff from the built in bowls alrdy (although you can do that at other locations). Price is kinda expensive for the portion but they r easily shareable between 2-3 ppl for the bowls. I'd recommend the double taro but put it on the side c the texture was weird. Everything else in it was good n the perfect lvl of sweetness. Service: bc it was busy when we came, it did take a bit for it to come out so maybe expect a 5-15 min wait. Atmosphere: it is a very cozy and cute vibe w all the decor. Main issue is spacing and table availability. Expect a huge wait for an open table bc if it's busy, every spot will probs be filled up. Liked how there was some games you could play with. Would recommend for family, friends, or date outings. Warning: parking can get very hectic so be aware of limited parking spots.

I love meet fresh! Their taro balls are insanely soft and squishy, paired with the refreshing grass jelly is a top tier dessert. their shaved ice is more on the icy side than snow-like, but yummy nonetheless!
Solid place in Chinatown to come to for a good boba tea. In the crazy heat of Texas summers, this is a welcome place to go to. Ordering was quick and efficient. I got the Passion Fruit Tea and enjoyed the good balance between tea and fruit juice. It wasn't overly sweet, and I loved the added texture provided by having actual passion fruit included in the tea. Parking is hard to come by here, so just be sure to drop by during a less busy part of the day :)
I've come here several times with my family and it never disappoints. Whenever I'm craving Taiwanese dessert, this is where I go. This time we ordered the Shaved Ice Signature and the Black Sugar Boba Shaved Ice. The large portion is enough for 4-5 people to finish. The signature has a great balance overall and it is not too sweet, however the black sugar boba was on the sweeter side for me. The service was fast and the workers were friendly. Overall, it's a great summer's treat and cool down from the heat. read more

The sweet taste of home. Not many dessert spots have the variety and quality that Meet Fresh does. When I crave grass jelly, taro balls, or a bean dessert this is where I come. They are good for all weathers since there are cold and hot options for many of their items. This location is clean and with many seating options. The service is relatively quick, just pay attention to when they call your order upon completion. If I could give one suggestion, it would be to add sugar adjustment options to the desserts. read more

I've had Meet Fresh all over the world, including in Shanghai, Taiwan, and where I live in New York, yet I found myself at one on a recent visit to Houston because they're just reliably good. It was hot and humid and all I wanted was a shaved ice dessert with taro balls and boba, so having the taro ball signature really hit the spot. The smaller size, which has a large scoop of vanilla ice cream, large scoop of taro, taro balls, boba, and shaved ice, is plenty for multiple people to share. My group also shared another dessert with sweet tofu and taro, which every Chinese kid is familiar with. Even though I preferred the taro ball signature, this tofu dessert was very nostalgic for me. This is a relatively small location with minimal seating, but it was virtually empty when I visited so we had the place to ourselves and our order came out really fast. read more

I love meet fresh! We got the Icy Grass Jelly Signature which is taro balls (my personal fave), grass jelly, on ice (with brown sugar syrup or sweet syrup?), and comes with a creamer to pour on top. I also like the strawberry/mango milk shaved ice! The line sometimes gets long during peak hours but I think it's because there were only 2 workers. A lot of space to sit, eat, and chat with friends. They also call your number order out on a machine and you go get it from the counter. You also clean up after yourself (returning trays to a certain area, bowls, etc.) It's also on the same strip as a lot of restaurants, cafes, and other dessert spots. Parking close might be an issue but there's a parking garage/lot walking distance from it. I used to go to snowy dessert bar but it closed down so I go to meet fresh more now with my friends/family. Highly recommend if you're in the area :) read more
My favorite dessert to get here is the thai tea shaved ice and sharing a Large with friends. There is a self service kiosk to order at and they'll call your name/number when your order is ready. We came on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. Love the sago, mochi balls, and flan. read more
We were craving Taiwanese style desserts and shaved ice so came here on a whim for a treat. The parking is shared with many other tenants of Bellaire Food Street and it was pretty difficult finding a spot if you didn't want to park at the garage thats at the very far end of the plaza. Meet Fresh has a lot of drinks and sweets to offer including bubble waffles, shaved ice, grass jelly bowls, tapioca, taro balls, potaro balls, mung bean cakes and so on. Order at the front and get a buzzer for when your order is ready to pick up at the counter. When done, there is a tray return area. We tried a few items including a Black Sugar Boba Milk Tea (black sugar boba, milk tea), an Icy Taro Ball B (red beans, refined sugar, sago, shaved ice, taro, taro balls), and an Icy Grass Jelly B (creamer, grass jelly, grass jelly shaved ice, red beans, sago, taro). All of the items we tried were tasty, refreshing, and not too sweet (actually because we chose to have the sweetness level toned down at the register when ordering). Certain items do not have the option for less sweet but order as you please! The taro balls are nice and chewy, sago perfectly tender, grass jelly a good consistency, and portions quite generous. The only thing we didn't quite enjoy were the add-ons that don't originally come with the above items (caramel egg pudding and almond pudding with red beans), as they were too gelatin like and not much structure compared to others I've tried or to the ones I make myself at home. Additionally, I found out they do not let customers use their app rewards with a gift card. read more
I eat Bing Su often in Singapore where I live so was excited to try this place in Houston. Honestly I wasn't impressed. It seemed to have too many ingredients piled on top of the shaved ice which made it melt fast and become too liquidly. Service was counter order and pick up from counter too, not much interaction. My friend suggested that I stop by this boba tea store to try out a new red bean dessert. I like the store because it is clean and cozy. I ordered the red bean with sticky rice jelly ball dessert. It was very tasty and not too sweet. It is kind of pricey. Overall, we enjoyed the dessert and had a great time. read more
Meet Fresh is a chain hailing from Taiwan that specializes in Taiwanese desserts. This location is in a strip mall in Chinatown so while it has its own parking lot, it seems to get pretty crowded. This is set up like a pretty typical Asian dessert shop, various tables and booths to sit at and an open space for lines to order and take away. Service was also what you'd expect from an Asian spot, sorta aloof but will meet minimum standards. For those unfamiliar with Asian desserts, this spot can be kind of jarring. While there are more familiar options like boba and shaved ice, their mainstays are various soups served either hot or cold and come with also potentially unfamiliar toppings. Beans, purple rice, grass jelly are some of the mains with various chewy additions as toppings. My favorite is the seasonal almond desserts, which are not the almonds Americans are familiar with but Chinese bitter almonds. They're a bit more floral and are actually the kernel of apricot seeds. They only have it in the fall/winter months though so def try and get it while in season! read more

I'm surprised I haven't left a review for Meet Fresh yet because it's got to be in my top 3 dessert places to hit. During this visit, we hit the post dinner rush on a Saturday evening so you already know it's packed. However, it did not take too long for us to get our order. We ordered the Q Mochi & Caramel Pudding combo. The portion was unexpectedly large, we couldn't even finish it! And it was only $6! It was a great combination of shaved ice, almond pudding, caramel pudding, taro balls, and vanilla ice cream. I would definitely recommend this! read more

pretty authentic taiwanese desserts here! this is one of the only places you can get sweet potato and taro balls in brown sugar shaced ice! Came here with my family for my mom's birthday ~ got grass jelly slush, brown sugar milk tea, & ice taro ball signature!! every single thing we ordered tasted amazing. 10/10 would come back to this location, parking is a bit limited since it's in a smaller plaza. the store is extremely well kept and clean. service was great too, lots of menus and pictures posted around the store so you can order and see what you're getting. a bit pricey compared to if you were to buy in taiwan and other shaved ice stores but not that many asian shaved ice places sell these types of desserts so i would still pay this price for the dessert! read more

Went in and order the Taro drink special. Place was SOOOO DIRTY!!! Table was dirty so are the floor with garbage. Female Bathroom was overrun with TOILET WATER..... While all the EMPLOYEE sit behind the counter to play on their phone. We order 4 of them! One was BUSTED and SPILLED everywhere!! They didn't have tray for carry so they lay all 4 drink FLAT IN A PLASTIC BAG!!! Taro drink had tiny Boba that was HARD!! So it wasn't cook all the way. SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS PLAEC SINCE THE ONE IN CO WAS CLOSED. DON'T THINK WE WILL GO BACK AGAIN!!! read more

Coming from Taiwan, Meet Fresh didn't disappoint. I got the Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. It comes infused with condensed milk and topped with a scoop of ice cream that melts into the ice over time. It's definitely on the sweeter side, but you can ask them to go lighter on the condensed milk if you prefer. The mini taro balls were my favorite part- squishy and so chewy. The portion is huge and easy to share with 5+ people. The space is clean, good ac, and parking is usually manageable unless it's peak hours. Compared to other dessert spots around Bellaire, this one stands out for quality and cleanliness. You can also refill the shaved ice for free!! which is a nice touch if you're eating it slowly. read more

My recent experience at Meet Fresh left me with mixed feelings. The service was quick considering how busy it was, but when we received our order of mango berry shaved ice, we quickly realized that it was not made well. It looked beautiful; however, the ice was very melted, almost soupy in consistency, even though we had just received it. The fruit was very fresh and tasty, but the shaved ice was so melted that we could not even finish the dessert without straight up drinking it. Unfortunately, I would not order shaved ice from here again unless they made some significant changes. We also ordered the original egg waffle. Now, this treat was quite tasty. It was a fun, light dessert great for sharing! My friend ordered the winter melon tea, and he was very pleased. This is one of his favorite drinks, and Meet Fresh made it very well with a cute top smiling back at you as you drink! Again, my experience at Meet Fresh was a mixed one. I would return for the egg waffles and drinks, but definitely not the shaved ice. read more
Meet Fresh is well known for their taro balls. They are soft and chewy, with good amount of filling inside. I decided to end my day with desserts and drinks from Meet Fresh. I got the Q-mochi and pudding milk shaved ice, grass jelly milk tea, and purple rice milk tea. I got 5 potaro balls free as they currently having promotion: spend $15 and get 5 potaro balls for free. The shaved ice was the perfect dessert to have on warm weather. The puddings were soft and silky. Delicious. There were jelly noodles in the bowl too, which were great for texture contrast. The mochi was ok. They were a little hard. The ice cream on top was a nice touch to the dessert, just something extra. The milk teas were just ok, nothing extraordinary. Meet Fresh is a place for big groups because of their big portions. Their shaved ice, grass jelly bowls, or purple rice desserts, are the "main dishes", milk teas are the "side dishes". read more
Located in the much overrated plaza in Chinatown with terrible parking. It's a parked lot with some of the most terrible driving that you will see. It's also one of the better spots on that new strip. Taiwanese style dessert spot focusing on taro, kochi, grass jelly, and the sorts. Overpriced? Yes it is, but all date spots and dessert spots are so pick your poison. Instagram friendly? Depends on what you get. Interior is pretty clean and has seating for decently sized groups. We liked the red bean shaved ice; the ice cream was not needed but everything else was pretty good to eat as a shared dessert and hang out for a while. read more
