I was shocked at the food options and now curious enough to return for lunch. My coffee drink of choice is a mocha latte and they did a great job. It had a nice balance of coffee, oat milk, and chocolate. The shop is small with limited seating that seemed to favor lunch seekers rather than a lounge atmosphere for coffee drinkers. I was excited to try this place out one morning on the way into the office. I walked in and I almost thought I was in a post apocalyptic story where everyone disappeared. The place was empty and I walked around in there for a few minutes before someone peeked out from the back. It was a very solitary, silent vibe in there. The barista was polite and friendly so I hoped that would carry over into the coffee I ordered. A flat white and iced matcha latte shouldn't be a problem. I ordered and when it was ready I took it and jumped back into my car. I got to the office and parked. Before going in I opened the lid to take a peek at my drink. To my astonishment, it wasn't all there. Now I know, flat white's tend to come in smaller sizes but this cup wasn't even halfway full. I looked around for the camera because surely I was being pranked by some up and coming YouTuber. Alas, there was no camera and no one was laughing, including me. I could have taken it back but no one has time for that. I took two sips and threw the empty cup away as I walked into the office. For the size of the cup, the content was disappointingly inadequate. With that in mind, I did not have high hopes for the iced matcha latte. Good call. I like my matcha on the strong potent side and a shade of green only the Incredible Hulk would understand. This was not it. What I got was basically milk with sugar and just enough specks of matcha to make it green. A very pale shade of green. I'd like to give this place another chance at some point but it may be a while before that happens. read more

I wish I had discovered Alpha Desserts sooner! This is a gem in Sugar Land that goes unnoticed I think. The smoothies are delicious. I had the pistachio and my friend had a red velvet one. Another time I had the mango lassi and a mango habanero burger and it was AMAZING. I would love to try more items on the menu. It is a great casual "order at the counter" type of place with indoor seating. It can get a little messy in there if it's a busy weekend, but other times I have gone, it was quiet and clean. I tasted banana but considering strawberry is not in season, I'll let it slide since you can see the color in their "smoothie." Iced matcha latte contains little matcha and too much milk. A young gentleman offered to make the matcha over if I didn't like it as soon as he handed my the drink but I didn't have the heart to say anything, considering how friendly he was and I was in a rush to leave. This place BLEW my mind. It looks like a low key cafe but it's so much more. For one, their menu is an insane fusion of indopak meets Tex mex meets cafe. They have kachori, falooda variety for days... the most delicious tacos and quesadilla my husband and I have had... and these monstrous stacked up milkshakes of endless flavors. If you're feeling healthy, they have amazing fresh juices as well. I was impressed by the menu but THEY DELIVERED WITH FLAVOR TOO! Staff was friendly and this spot is halal!!! They really need a menu board. It was super busy when we went and it would have been helpful to have a menu to be able to choose what we wanted vs waiting to get to the front and seeing the full menu. They have pictures of items along the work counter but they are unorganized and the same 10 items are randomly plastered on their, so the full menu is still elusive. Second issue, they were not prepared to deal with a huge crowd. They didn't seem to have an order tracking or ticket system and the guys just kept making stuff and throwing it on the counter without knowing which ticket he was on. A bunch of people were not getting their items. So despite all this chaos, the drinks/ dessert were pretty good. We had a group of 10 and most people were happy with what they got so ultimately going to stick to 4 stars. Just don't go here on a busy day I guess or with a large group because they don't have a ton of seating. read more

Honestly one of the best coffees I've had in all of Houston. Its super creamy and sweet if you like that and the consistency is just overall great plus no burnt bean taste either! I love when coffee shops use 1883 which this place uses as well. The vibes aren't the best to study in but its more of a fast casual eating spot. I ordered the ultimate coffee shake. It was everything I hoped it would be although may I suggest not serving it with the lemon macoroons as the flavor clashed with the coffee and chocolate. The ice cream is homemade from what I understand and it was super creamy and flavorful -absolutely excellent. My friend had the beef paratha roll, masala curly fries [the masala is a dry seasoning on the fries not a sauce we were told]. The roll has a little kick to it with a sweet glaze on the meat. I had the daal kachori with potato curry. Some bites were somewhat spicy but not too much. Really enjoyed the lentil puffs and curried potatoes. Highly recommend [if you're not a fan of cumin seeds though you might want to try something else]. I also had the rabri crepe roll [I don't remember the exact name]. I was so excited to try this that I forgot to take a picture. It was a little smaller than expected but I was totally satisfied and in hindsight it was probably the perfect size. I've never seen this on other menus but it was the most delicious dessert. Its very carmelized so its hard to cut and gives it more of a chewy texture. If you opt out of the icecream and want a lighter dessert try this. It was just enough sweet without being overwhelmed. The filling has a very gently flavor that's just right. Will definitely come back for this. Also- pineapple in the free water yum. The fresh fruit drinks looked delicious. I will have to come back to try those. COVID review: -The employee who attended us properly wore his mask which I appreciated. -There is a large hand sanitizer pump by the cashier for you to utilize -Call before going for the hours of operation as they are subject to change based on customer trends. My friend didn't like the popsicle texture, but overall I thought it was pleasant. Also, the cashier guy who worked that day was so attentive.
